Modern Family is a new mockumentary-type show that airs on ABC. It follows the lives of three dysfunctional families: the Delgado-Pritchett family, the Dunphy family and the Pritchett and Tucker family. As you might have guessed, the families are all related in some way and this leads to some hilarious situations.

So far, I think the show has a lot of promise and it seems to be doing very well. Has anyone else seen it? What do you guys think of it so far?

I generally love shows without laugh-track.

I realize I'm sort of necroing an old thread here, but I'm hoping that I can revive the discussion. Modern Family is getting more and more popular, so maybe more people have heard of it now. :)

I'm usually the same way! I'm so glad that Modern Family doesn't have one. That being said, I was able to overlook the laugh track on The Big Bang Theory and it turned out to be a great show. :3
