The Philadelphia Story! With Cary Grant and Jimmy Stewart.

One of the best and funniest movies ever!!! There is so much sneekyness and ploting others down fall in it!

Totally a 5/5 stars!

I just watched the Departed. Yes, I realize I'm a little late on seeing this one. I'd give it a 4/5 stars though. It was a little slow at times, but overall it was good. ^^

Latest movie I've seen: Scoop

SO GOOD! Very funny, clever, a mystery with quirks. Like all Woody Allen movies, it has a nice lacing of humor throughout considering it's about a serial killer. :p

5 out of 5 duckies. ^-^

blind_phoenix: I love that movie! :D

Last movie I saw : Two Weeks Notice

Rating: 4.234567891/2 stars

I did enjoy this movie, for some reason I enjoy all "chic" flicks, and at times I thought that this movie was hilarious. Or maybe it was because I had nothing to do on saturday night.

Movie: The Exorcist [1973]
Rating: 4/5

It was really well made although there were some parts I really just did not like. For example I have no idea how the beginning connects to the main part of the film. It really perplexed me. It had superb acting though. I mean above the standard.

The last movie I saw?
Saw 4.
And you know what?
I thought it was stupid.

I liked the other three, but this one was just... ugh.
No suspense at all... ;o;

Last movie I watched was NANA. Miaka Nakashima is so awsome in it. And Ken'ichi Matsuyama is so cute with his hair gray! He looks so different form when he played L in Death Note.

Sice I live the manga and anime for NANA I'm giving it 5/5 stars!

Night before last I watched a movie called The Sight on TV. I loved it; definite 5/5. It would have made a fabulous TV series actually. In fact the movie played like a pilot episode and had an open ending. : ) Maybe someone will come back and make a series out of it.

I have just returned from seeing "Beowulf". If you're interested in the graphics, I'll put that bit at the end. If you're interested in how the story was, keep reading. I thought the storyline was pretty good overall, but I felt that it lacked cohesion. I don't recall the original story especially well as it's been several years since I read it, but the movie was rather different, and I felt that they could have done more to tie the two major battles - against Grendel and against Grendel's mother - together. And then there was another major battle that seemed to be largely an excuse to pimp out their CGI. Not saying it's necessarily a bad thing, but I wished it felt stronger all the way through. Without giving anything away, I will say I liked the ending.

I'll give you a quick warning and say I have a tendency to nitpick CGI films - definitely not because I don't like them, but it's interesting to see who does what well, and what things seem to be difficult to render. For the CGI in "Beowulf", I will say that there are vast portions of it that are absolutely amazing. Look for the dragon fight scene. There is copious gore, and that all looked... well, real enough to turn my stomach. But what left me less than impressed in the end was that, in spite of the amazing rendering for a lot of the animations, there were other parts (horses galloping over roads, with a closeup on the hooves) where the flat, non-moving surfaces looked... nowhere near as good as they could have. Overall, I'd give it a 6/10.

I just saw "borderland" one of the 8 films to Die For in Horrorfest 2007. It was pretty good and had sort of a strong plot line. It was based off true events and It was original because I've never seen a horror movie about the mexican border. It did have the "some crazy college kids travel to have the time of their lives and more than 1/2 of them die" thing like most horror movies these days. Overall of would give it 3.5/5 but I wouldn't buy the movie when it comes out.

Depends on weather or not you count stand up comedy as a movie. If so then the last movie I saw was Jeff Dunham: Spark of Insanity. I'd give it a 9/10. It was hilarious but most of the jokes had sexual references so it got old after a while.

If you don't have stand up comedy then the last movie I saw was Shrek the third. I give it an 9/10. It was a great movie and some parts were hilarious but I'm kind of getting tired of the characters so it wasn't as enjoyable for me.

  • Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium [or something like that...]
    3/5 stars
This wasn't one of the best movies I saw, and it was about average. It's Mr. Magorium leaving his magical toy store to his manager because he's going to die and wants to continue the legacy. Mr. Magorium is supposedly 243 years old and had lived a long and most adventuresome life, though it's only even vaguely mentioned [which was quite disappointing]. The few jokes made in the movie were not very laughable to the adults, but hilarious to children. I was quite disappointed when they made a fun-loving guy like Mr. Magorium into a brainless oaf with a speech impediment. And when he died, it wasn't surprising [since this was stated since early on in the movie] or emotional, though Natalie Portman did a good job at crying fake tears. It wasn't at all a tear-jerker during that part, though it seemed that is what the creator wanted to accomplish. There wasn't enough of an emotional attachment to the character to achieve that goal.
Saving factors of the movie included amazing special effects and animation as well as some cute moral lessons.

The Simpsons movie was the last movie i've seen in theatres (I haven't been to the movie theatre in a whilw :( ) To be honest, i did not really enjoy it. =/ I thought it wasn't worth the money. It wasn't very funny. I expected better.

The last movie I saw was Fred Claus <3 Frankly, I thought it was really, really cute and funny -- I would give it a 4/5 xD

Even the friend that I dragged along thought it was really good, and she's biased because she thought it was going to be a typical Christmas movie -- and she wanted to see Beuwolf instead xD It actually made me cry a couple of times -- there are really hilarious parts, but at the same time, there's some pretty heavy stuff, if you think about it. At least I think so, but I'm hopelessly sentimental, anyway xD; Hope everybody enjoys it as much as I did :3

Last movie I saw was: Ratatouille (I believe that's how it's spelled).

Rating: 4 stars out of 5.

I enjoyed the movie, I liked the concept, idea, and the characters, I just wish that Disney would go back to animation instead of 3D pixar work. Hopefully when they come out with the Princess and the Frog it will be good! However this movie was good. I watched it with my improv team.

Mr. Magoriums Wonder Emporium.

It was cute I guess, but pretty boring. If you're over 10, I wouldn't go see it. Unless you just like really feel good-y movies.

Last movie I watched:
Stardust Memories
Rating 4 out of 5 duckies.

Well, let's see. Another Woody Allen movie, this time about a guy who attends a showing of his films and during that time he goes over memories of the women who inspired his movies. It had its comedic moments, but what I loved about it was the way it showed him tenderly, more so than in the other movies of his I've seen. The bit at the end, when he's recalling something that made life worthwhile...a memory, oh man. Melted my heart. :]

I last saw Spiderman 3.
I'd rate it a 3/5, because although it was decently made, I'm not into that series and I don't like some of the actors and the way the portray the original characters of Spiderman.
