Vashra's Freebie Thread

Hi, welcome to my freebie thread. Here I'm going to offer up a few slots for people who want to get some freebie art. The art I am offering will vary defending on my motivation, mood and also what I'm needing to practice the most. I reserve the right to choose which avatars to draw and it will be your avatars mainly that I will be drawing unless your OC or dream avatar is especially catching. Feel free to ask for anything to be drawn though as long as it falls within the parameters set by these will/won't draw lists...

Vashra will draw:

- Semi-Anthro
- OC
- Avatars
- Dream Avatars
- Couples/Groups (rarely)
- Tasteful Nudity-ish (will be censored by something though...)

Vashra won't draw:

- Full Nudity
- Yaoi/Yuri
- Full-Antro
- Mecha

At the moment my Wacom is in the repairs shop so all my freebies will be in pencil, examples will eventually be put in here too... Image in my signature is an example of my work.

Feel free to post away, just make sure if you are requesting art to make a comment saying as much and if you want something other than your avatar please give either a description or reference art.

Also please feel free to stay around and chat I love talking to people about art or anything really, and donations/tips are loved but not expected. Chatting could also make your request stand out from the crowd a bit more than just a 'Art k'thxbai!' post.

Drew some quick headshots, one for Mewmew07 and one for Kiari.
They are in the same image because of my scanner and it was easier to remove the paper lines like that but feel free to break them up if you wish to use them.

I really should stop sketching on cheap lined paper :P.

Its really strange going back to traditional for me, I have been pretty much doing purely digital for a few years now, so its a bit of a struggle. But its good practise, kind of a silver lining to having your wacom tablet break, eh? :P

That's good though. Because what if something happened and computers weren't around anymore and you couldn't do digital art. Traditional art is still there.

That future would be terrifying to me :P my livelyhood is dependant on computers, I'm a 3d artist hehe so my career would be down the toilet.

Hey btw, do you know roughly how much my art is worth here on menewsha? the pricings of things have changed since I was on here, think the economy went up a fair bit.

I'd say maybe 300-400g.

I hope that doesn't sound too little.

It sounds small, but then if you consider the price of items like the contributions items and its actually a fair amount :).

Yeah, the price of things here is much cheaper than like Gaia or Solia. So after maybe five commissions, you can afford a CI or a couple events items or something.

@mew: Omg gaia... I was on there for years and it just is way too insane now, I was ok because I was an oldbie but for newbies... I don't know how anyone new could even possibly get anywhere near to being able to afford half the stuff on there.

I've been on there since 2006, and then before that in 2004. But I sold all of my stuff, and don't try to get anything anymore. I just have one avatar and just use all of the gold I get on there now for art of it.

Yeah, that's pretty much same as me, only on there for the art if at all now, used to do the breedable pets there but even that went a lil bit money crazed.

If you do create an art shop on here I would definatley(sp?) buy your work if I could afford it! Alas, I'm saving for multiple items so I may not be able to buy art for a long while. *sigh*
