Rei~ Well, the French had a big hand in rewriting it to its modern version, I think. And the first film adaptation was French. :)

For leisure, my college classes have been canceled all week, but I like movies of history.

Yep Rei, it is odd. I guess it just got passed down through the European continent throughout the medieval period. XD
