J.K has sold more books. But I think Meyer sells more stuff. Although it goes on clearance fairly quicly. It's a very quick fad.

Embarrassed to say I don't remember much of Interview with a Vampire. But I do remember more vividly that everyone wanted me to watch it, and then when I did I didn't pay a shitting ounce of attention. xD

Which is... confusing? She doesn't seem like she gives her characters a lot of free will. Jacob was a sweetheart in the 2nd book, and then in the 3rd she changed him completely, without explanation. WTF Meyer? Was she just trying to shut the Jacob fans up?

Yeah, probably because it being a series about vampire romance automaticaly makes Edward get the girl. Anyways I've go to go. I'll still be online becasue I leave my computer up, but I won't reply. I plan to come back to this converstaion in the future though.

Don't really know. Like I said, I've slipped into extremism, so that pretty much blinds me to anything else going on in the world of literature. Seems like it's just vamp literature. SSDD, right?

Popularity wise my guess would be manga.

Ok. I'm back and yes manga would definetly be one of them.
I would have to say that Naruto would be one of them altough I don't buy them myself.

My personnal favorite manga right now is Highschool of the Dead but it has only been officially translated into spanish so far. However on onemanga.com you can read it. It is definitely one of the best I've read.

D. Grayman was an excellent manga back when i was reading it, but i haven't checked back in awhile, so i'm more than likely very behind.
Soul Eater is great too, i find the world the author created creative.
Other favorites would be Jack Frost, Shaman King, Hellsing and Kinnikuman Nisei
