Some classes I don't like, but some I have trouble in and still want to learn or attend. For instance...if I feel I could learn more on my own, then I won't attend class. If I can't, I'll go. I get so bored of sitting through lectures that don't really teach anything or you don't retain something. They go on and on about how you're supposed to be so assertive and it's your own fault for learning (or not learning) something, yet they like to instill things like grades for attendance and strict rules about what's on the exams. I guess college isn't for all.

I want a good-paying job, but I also don't want to pick a career now. I've been in school for over 12 years, and I want a break, hahaha!

Yeah...schools not supposed to be fun. I go even if I can learn on my own because thats just more A's or B's added onto my transcript. XD It makes your GPA get boosted up too.

My mom has those kind of teachers right now that just lecture you and don't really teach anything. And then you're screwed because their the ones supposed to be teaching you and not going on with useless things. Lol

My moms ex is a Web Designer; he was teaching me CSS when I was 14-15 but I learned everything on my own. lol

Type-O-Negative Band wanted him to create them a website when he met them at their concert. But the dumbass didn't finish the website and just left the flash site he created on a disc and lost it somewhere. -_-

He works for the US government at Nasa now though.

He is lazy. He cheated his way through ITT tech College to get his Bachelors degree. He doesn't like working on deadlines even if they give him deadlines to do, to create a website. He'd rather do it at the last minute and then get pissed off because he actually has to DO something.

Yeah. He updates, reconstructs, changes the layout. He works with Cold Fusion, Flash, Photoshop, Vectors, CSS/HTML, etc. He does the whole shabang even though he is one lazy effer. :stare: And he doesn't like helping people anyway. When I was trying to learn Cold Fusion off of him, he told me to do it myself and laughed because he wasn't going to help me with squat.

I always hated that participation was a large part of your grade in some classes.
Because I always went blank when the teachers called on me. Even if I knew the right answer, I just couldn't say anything. =(
