@Shimawa: Ee, I'd suggest avoiding Stairway to Heaven then. That series is emotionally draining. One of my friends who never gets emotional actually started crying during it.
What I liked about Delightful Girl Choon-Hyang was that it showed segments in the past as comedy, then the actual show had the modernized version. It was kind of interesting to see the past versus now versions. So they had dancers and stuff in the past...and modern day is more like the clubs, karaoke bars, stuff like that.
I think I'd recommend trying out My Lovely Kim Sam Soon. What made it so popular was that Korean women could relate to the main character - she was older, single, a little round faced, and more focused on her career. It's a romantic comedy too.
A lot of Korean dramas have love triangles - namely one woman and two guys. There's kind of a shortage of women in the country. That's why a lot of country people will arrange marriages with Vietnamese, Philippinos and so on. I think My Golden Bride addressed marrying a half Vietnamese woman? I'm not sure. @[email protected]
