It is one of my favorite anime. It is definitely in my top ten list. The characters, the story, the setting, the mood; it is all great! I wish however that the ending were a little bit better but other than that it was a great series.

I also love Witch Hunter Robin. It was one of the first complete sets I bought. Although, I had gotten it on tape and didn't realize there were two, so I finished the tape, right at 'that' episode, in the middle, and ended up going to bed quite depressed...until I found the next tape, then I went to work wondering what was up with Amon...then I finally finished it.

Personally, I kind of like the ending that way. It leaves things unanswered, but it also leaves a lot of room for imagination. And I do agree that, while a second season might have answered some questions, it also quite probably would have spoiled it.

Witch Hunter Robin to me is a really great anime. I understand why people find that it moves slowly in the first episode, but it's sort of doing that to develop the characters, show how Robin's character changes as the show goes on, how she begins feeling about hunting witches. It raises the suspicion about what The Factory is, and what happens to the witches that are captured and taken there. After a certain point, this anime picks up and it is just nonstop fast-paced action, mystery, and intrigue. One of the other great things about it is that the original (one of the few original versions of anime I've ever gotten to watch), is not really much different from the dub. I can watch both, and enjoy both, without cringing at it being horribly done.

I also love the music in it, particularly the theme song "Shell" by Bana, and the ending theme, "Half-pain" by the same band. (There's also a piano song called Allay Pain that is basically Half-pain, but really gorgeous.)

I think more people should give this anime a chance. I don't think it's on the air anymore, which is why many people haven't really seen it, but you can find it online and a lot of people still remember it.

Love Witch Hunter Robin, it was one of my first Anime shows I bought and love even thought it was slow, I didn't mind, kind of wish it was longer. Now that I think about it, I want to watch it...But I would have to say Amon and Robin the main characters are my favorite...and the music to the show rocks as well...

At the part I bolded - you too, huh? xD I've been watching it a little at a time since posting. This time the dub, since it's been awhile :3 Amon and Robin are amazing ♥ I wish there was a bit more explanation at the end about Robin's existence and the "eve of witches". There's so much speculation over what Robin's existence was to mean to the witches. And Amon's possible powers, if he ever showed signs of them.

I did high enjoy the show, but I have to admit it was a pinch slow.. and I kept getting annoyed that Robin and Amon didn't kiss XD I know I wasn't the only one! It was one of the better animes they showed on Cartoon Network for sure either way.
