I'm scared. I'm frightened at the prospect of Keanu Reeves playing Spike. As for the movie itself, I really don't know. It could be good, it could be bad and it just...well...it could turn out like...Dragonball Evolution. Ah, let's not even talk about that. For some reason, directors/designers decide to be extremely incompetent when it comes to making films/games based off of anime.

I think that the only animes and mangas that should have live action movies/shows should be the slice-of-life kind weather it's by Japanese or Americans. Also not all animes and mangas are set in Japan, like Trinity Blood.

Are they really making it? I heard it was just a rumor started by fans.

Well I heard he is a big fan of the show, so that gives me hope that he will want to keep it accurate. I also heard that he wanted the project to be co-supervised by the original creators. Truthfully I find him to be a 50/50 actor, as in half his films he is a good actor and half he sucks. Since he is so interested in the series and supposedly keeping it true to heart I think he might do well. Is he my first choice for Spike. . . .eh, you could do worse. . .and I can't say that anyone really comes to mind when i think of Spike as far as looks are concerned. I'll hold my judgment on the process until i hear more about a confirmed cast, and whether or not they are working with the creators or not. I have high hopes, but since like 90% of live action animes are pretty bad I don't plan on holding my breath.
