I really did like that show.

I usually like anime shows that have a bit of romance in them. Otherwise, if they have, like, a possibility of there being a couple and the anime ends before anything happens between them, I think that it was kind of pointless watching the anime in the first place. Ayashi no Ceres was definatly good along with Fushigi Yuugi. I really like Touya.

I haven't read this for a long time, but this manga has to be my all time favorite of Yuu Watase's manga. I loved the artwork- it resembled that of Fushigi Yuugi, but was a lot cleaner, and the eyes were clearer, and the plot was just amazing. Plus, all of the characters were likable, aside from Aya, at times. Most of the time, I liked her, but there were times when she got too dependent on Tooya. Fortunately, Ceres was always there to get her out of those times, so they never lasted long. :). It's also one of the few times that I could stand Yuu Watase's main male character. In every other series, I want to smack them for being such losers. Tooya is the exact opposite of her normal main male character, which made him a good character to me. :)
As for my favorite character, I'd have to say I liked Alec the best. XD. He may have not had much of a role, but I liked his childish, yet occasionally serious personality. I also liked the fact that he was the only 'evil' character with any conscience. The others all wanted to complete the project, while he thought of it as wrong towards the end.

Ceres is one of my favorite manga. I haven't watched the anime, but I have read the manga. I'm not sure which character is my favorite, though Toya is up there. :)

I cried at the end, it was so sad, also ends up that I love scarlet and it is a really sad song, but is pretty none the less. I own the series for it's love, but it is something that I think that series is a great emotional ride but is an amazing series none the less.

I love Toya!!! He is a great character, and his outfits are silly, but great. No one cosplays Ceres, it is a bit sad but maybe it is because they look to similar.

This is my most favorite anime and manga of all the works of Yuu.
My favorite character would be Aki, Aya's twin brother.
Simply because he reminds me of my twin brother.
Though Aki would be 10 times hotter than him xD
Lets just say I'm too close to my twin.

Ceres is gorgeous =O Yu Watase's art is simply beautiful.

Although I do have a few complaints; too many of Watase's works are too similar, and the same goes for the character developments/appearances. I used to think she was the best thing ever, but now she's...somewhat fallen on my list. ^^;

Don't get me wrong--I still love Fushigi Yuugi, Ceres, Imadok, and most of Watase's works. I just don't idolize her as much as I used to.

But anyway--back to Ceres. I really liked the storyline in this one.

;-; And yush. The ending was so sad.

The end is a happy sad feeling, similar to Chrono Crusade in my mind. Very I wish they didn't have to die, but there life went well as long as it did kind of thing. Ceres through, I do love it's story idea, and some of the Ceres plot showed up in the new fushigi yugi genbu kaiden as a special. I was so happy.

the anime gave me mixed feelings.... i loved the story but it also makes me want to cry. i hate the part that Touya have to die and leave her behind. it's one of the animes that somehow left a burning hole inside my heart, even though it ended okay. my favorite anime song of all time is song "Scarlet". i think it's the ending song. it's the song that opens with haunting piano melodies.....

Ayashi no Ceres is one of my all time favorite series to watch~ I have to admit that it was one of the only anime series that almost got me to cry. (Almost) When Midori and Aki died I was like “What the hell!?!?!! Nooo… jerks”. I really didn’t like the voice for Aya though, it was highly annoying at first until I got use to it a few episodes in. Toya was very cool though~ I loved the voiced used for him.

I remember when I first found out about the special edition DVDs for ANC. I bought them in a heartbeat online and never parted, haha.

I love Ayashi no Ceres. <3 It still remains my favorite manga. I have a few discs of the anime, but the voices bug me too much to watch it seriously. I really don't like the voice they got for Aya....too annoying in my opinion.

Aki's my favorite. I was so sad about the ending....but it was very fitting at the same time. It would have felt wrong if it ended any other way, I think.

Yuu Watase's art is amazing in this series and all her other ones too. She's by far my favorite.
