As most people have mentioned, 4Kids is definitely the enemy of anything considered 'good' in anime. Most of their dubs are atrocious. Their scripts are on the line of completely immature. They change the names of characters to 'westernized' names and cover up all of what made this show unique. They take away anything that relates back to Japan. For example, Tokyo Mew Mew. I fell in love with the series because of the manga. Although I wasn't excited it was being brought here by 4Kids I had some hope.

The main character's name was Ichigo and they changed it to Zoey. I'll let this slide. THEN they put ridiculously and God awful voice actors that sound either extremely high pitched or seem to have no voice training what so ever. My eyebrows twitched a bit but I kept watching, thinking it may grow on me overtime. They also have a knack for completely changing the theme songs to some hacked up sugar pop on acid so that the little kiddies don't have a heart attack from the Japanese opening theme.

When I heard the theme song 'Team Up' instead of my original lovely opening theme I turned off the TV. They even went as far as changing the title of the series and taking out all the Japanese references that made it so unique from the rest. (But I'm repeating myself I'll stop XD)

Because who really listens to it anyway? Might as well change all the good music in the anime.

Anywho their are other anime companies that have also irked me in the past few years. Funimation's voice actors have slumped a bit especially with them picking 'favorites' for casts instead of going for something that actually would sound like the character. Now I do like Vic Mignona believe me he has a good voice for characters. But please. Oh God. PLEASE. Stop giving him every role.

He's done an 'okay' job with Tamaki. I'm on the fence with it. Haruhi I actually felt could've sounded a little better but I'll let that slide. The twins. Oh God. I don't know how they even were able to trash something so easy. And the opening theme song. Really? Could we not get anyone else to sing it? Did they ever think 'Hmm...this sounds out of tune. Should we do something about it? 8D'

Hardly. And to finish this long rant I have two words. Sailor Moon. Actually I have more words than that. Have any of you actually gone back and watched it again? I actually might skim the series after watching Sailor Moon Abridged. Sometimes they'll insert random lines from the original dubbed version and it actually makes me go 'huh' at times. Example: 'He's been acting like a granola bar!'. I mean...really? This is how we were introduced to anime? I guess since we were small we can be forgiven that we've watched better animes to recover from that mess.

I didn't like the Funimation One Piece dub. Or the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds dub.

Well I usually avoid dubs like the plague, but the worst one I can remember. . . and I swear it has scared me for like was the original cast for dubbing one piece. They improved a bit later down the road I heard but the original dubs had me near convulsing in anger and horror. They gave Sanji this god awful old timey gangster voice and accent. . . he is a bishonen style pretty boy. . .just wrong. . . but my problem with dubs don't stop with the voices they tend to screw around with episodes and plots too. The completely cut out the Labloon episode which turns out to be important later in the series and they didn't even cut them out well there were still images with false lines running for minutes at a time. . . .I wanted to throw-up. They butchered some of the voices, messed with the plot, tried to edit out Sanji's cigarettes(failed at it by the way) to be honest I hate it when people mess with art under the guise of censorship. I could rant for hours and just keep getting more pissed as I went.

I would have to say Higurashi, or in English, When They Cry. The voices are so horrible, that I can barely watch it >_<

Not sure what people found impressive about the jnp audio... both sides started out weak, but overall I preferred it in English.

Just... bad. Only some shined though but rarely. Casting : Kenta Kamakari as Itsuki was a terrible choice.

RAI's Winx
None of the voices fit... none. The voice actors are lifeless.
People will like the Rai English for the fact that it remains closer to the original Italian version, but other than that, their casting and acting is just low. They are up to the new season and the cast still can't emote right.

I thought Bleach - - and Naruto both had pretty bad dubbs, but I wasn't keen on some of the voice actors in Fushigi Yuugi.
