I made this header a while ago for a site layout and it still doesn't look quite right to me. [the wallpaper pattern is the layout background and the rip is the header image] Thoughts??

Personally I like it- I just think there's too much "empty space", if you know what I mean. Very cool though =3!

Woops! It appears that I put the wrong image up--fixed!

Perhaps you should trim a bit of the edges? It really does look a bit too empty there. Or add small tears or maybe a pin or something...?

lol, it's all bloody and stuff- now I can barely read it. Maybe stain the brown wallpaper? It'd be more menacing if you made like hand marks- scratches and blood smears etc.

Maybe a little bit of shine or light red to the blood? I'm assuming thats blood lol. Even if it's dark or dried, blood had various shades and a little shine even if it's dried.

Thanks for the input everyone, it's a big help. As far as the extra space it's actually going to be the header for a layout, the main wallpaper pattern being the background, so i was just showing a preview of it with the background. I guess I should have explained that. xD

@Dystopia: I think I will add smaller tears/scratched around the edges, to tie it in a bit.
@jehneefur & DragonRose215: I agree the blood needs a lot more work. I'll give it a more 3D look along with some more detail.

Thanks again!
