Hmm.. I think the worst thing I've done, that I can remember, is running the top of my foot into a power drill. >.<; It was off, but damn. It hurt. It also left this scar that takes up half my foot. :)

I had a planter wort on the bottom of my foot. I tried to dig it out myself but it just bled a lot and hurt. So I went to the doctor, he put liquid nitrogen on it to kill the skin cells. When I got up to leave I passed out in the hallway. XP A week later I came back and he cut it out with a knife. I didn't feel anything because the skin was dead but it was painful to have that thing in the first place and I had a hole in my foot for a long time. Hahaha. That's the worst thing that's happened to my feet. My sister dropped a drawer on her foot and crushed it pretty bad. Oww. My ex-boyfriend sprayed his foot with a super-heated pressure washer and got severe burns of several degress on it. XD He said it was incredibly painful and the nurse at the hospital scrubbed it with a rough sponge to clean it. He had a big burn blister there for a while. Theres a big scar on his foot now from the incident.

I had the spear thing that's on the end of fake plants to keep them in that foam stuff go all the way in my foot and almost through. It hurt like hell! Not only that but my mom was the one who ripped it out. I still have a scar there and this happened about four or five years ago. Or when I was about seven I stepped on a huge piece of glass and my mom thought I was lying so she told me to go away. When she came into the bathroom with me holding my foot under the water she freaked and then kept saying sorry over and over....

I broke a toenail at summer camp once. The sidewalk was uneven & slick as crap since there were a bunch of sopping wet kids coming back from the lake, and I slid & hit my big toe on the crack. SUPER painful!
And back in October, my friends and I had snuck into an abandoned hospital/school since it's supposedly haunted. It was a spur of the moment thing, so I was wearing flip-flops instead of real shoes. And of course, I happened to find the biggest piece of broken glass EVER. Went through my shoe and into my foot. >_> I had to limp about a mile to our car.

I've had four seriously infected toes, it's genetic. So, I've had four toe surgeries. That's the worst. Only times I've ever been on crutches. I also have a bit of a limp because I just spent so much of my childhood avoiding puting pressure on one toe or another. Only a little bit, but I notice it sometimes if my feet hurt, I'll just slip back into el limping mode.
Also, when I went back to school after having my second one done, I stubbed my toe agaisnt a wall and just freaked, there was blood everywhere. That sucked. It hurt so much. Even thinking about it makes me cringe.

I once was at a barbeque and a hot charcoal piece fell on the ground. Of course I was young and playing in the yard without my shoes on. And *plomp* I stepped right on it. I went to the hospital and got that wrapped up all nice and pretty. In the same week, a ball me and my friends were playing on got stuck on the roof of the trailer we lived in. Sooooo, (you can totally see where this is going =3) I went to get it and they being 10 year olds egged me on to jump off a ten foot building. I did and had my leg casted for the rest of the Summer. TT.TT Life just sucked that year!

I had to get ingrown toe nails in both on my feet removed when I was in high school and one of my toes wouldn't go numb and they have to do the surgery while I could feel it. It's was a 45 minute long procedure.
For those who don't know, here's an explaination of the procedure:
Quote:
Wedge resection
Partial removal of the nail or an offending piece of nail. More complex than a complete nail avulsion (removal).
Here, the digit is first injected with a common local anesthetic. When the area is numb, the physician will perform an onychotomy in which the nail along the edge that is growing into the skin is cut away (ablated) and the offending piece of nail is pulled out. Any infection is surgically drained. This process is referred to as a "wedge resection" or simple surgical ablation and is non-permanent (i.e., the nail will re-grow from the matrix). The entire procedure may be performed in a physician's office and takes approximately thirty to forty-five minutes depending on the extent of the problem.
|
Also a few week previous to this in an effort to remove the ingrown problem myself I accidentally clipped off the end edge of my toe with nail clippers and scored myself a nasty infection!
Another horror feet store is from middle school when I was play kick ball with some friends and stepped on a large, rusted roofing nail. I was wearing shoes, so I effectively NAIL MY SHOE TO MY FOOT.

Thankfully never broken anything or lost a nail. Gashed the back of my foot on an exercise machine. Impacted a knuckle on my toe with a sword(thankfully sheathed). Most painful was probably a planters-wort I got in a swim class. It hurt to walk on and when it wouldn't seems to go away my mother tried to dig it out(most painful part) she failed. . .wouldn't you know the next time I had that class the amount of chlorine in the pool took care of it.

I have these really big thick sewing needles to sew these picture things and for embroidery... you can already guess where that's going XD but it went at least 3/4 an inch into my heel
I step on little ones all the time but that was aweful
stubbed my toe really bad on cement, this huge layer of skin was just hanging from like the middle of my toe pad
somehow i got a small plantars wart on my foot, it just looks like a calis, but apparently if you put duct tape on it for 6 weeks or so it goes away

When I was about 10 or so my step father took me and my mom out on his boat in Florida. Him and his friends were going diving while my mom was tanning and she let me snorkel on the surface of the water near the boat. There was a reef near by and it was known that sharks populated the area. While I was snorkeling I saw a small (2-3ft) hammerhead shark and I freaked out. I jumped onto the boat ladder so fast, but in the process I sliced my foot on the still propeller. Blood+ocean+shark=scary!! Still have the scar on my foot.

Worst thing that ever happened to my feet...I was helping work on taking the siding off of/replacing siding on an old school building on a church trip (back when I was christian)...long story short, there was a board with nails in it lying on the ground with nails sticking out of it. I stepped on it, cursed a bit, then went in search of first aid to clean out the wound.
Honestly, it wasn't painful as much as it was annoying.

I have had a can dropped on my pinky toe, the area between my big toe and the toe next to it had become infected and filled with pus.
I stepped on a nail, some glass....gosh my feet are tore UP!
so has this happened to you or have you had something more serious.

In grade 4 I stood on a thumbtack because for some reason I was walking barefoot in the classroom...
But more recently (being the unco person I am) I didn't lift my foot when I was walking barefoot on the pavement and I scraped all this skin on the top of my big toe off. BLOOD BLOOD BLOOD!!!!!!!!!

haha i feel your pain. just reading most of this stuff makes me queasy and disgusted.
the worst thing to happen to my feet is i was out on the track with a friend (bare foot) last year was that my toe nail got pulled back to almost all of it off. It came off and was bleeding and *shivers* yuck. I can't remember exactly how, but I think someone stepped on it. Thinking about it, I actually think it was from a friend accidentally kicking my foot instead of the ball >.<
I have bad scares on my toenails and toes, but I don't know how they got there o_e

I once got my toes slammed under a door and lost one of my toenails, but that's about all that's ever happened to my feet.
I do have several scars on my feet that I have no idea how I got, though. People occasionally ask what happened to my feet, because the scars always look fairly new, and I really have no clue what happened. xD

I have bruised my big toe. I stubbed it on a sewing box. It was bruised for like a week or two.
I also pulled out my pinky toe nail. Yes, pulled.
I also have ingrown nails on both of my big toes. I have surgery on both of them many times. and they still come back. God they suck.

I've gotten both of my big toe-nails removed because fungus (or something) was growing underneath them and I was sick of tired of fighting them off. Then on the left foot, the nail didn't grow back in properly and both nails still looked yellow so I ended up recently getting both nails permanently removed.
Also last year I went to a convention and a few days later my left ankle swelled up. It's not even back to normal and the doctors don't know why it's like this .___.;;
