My step-sister (at the time O_o) totally got me hooked on Sailor Moon when I was younger. From there, the natural progression was to Pokemon, to Digimon, to Tenchi Muyo & Dragonball Z, and onwards.

Nowadays, though, the only manga/anime I really read/watch anymore are Hellsing, Death Note, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, & Samurai Deeper Kyo.

Hm. Rave Master. Loved it, had a thing for giant swords and crazy hair. Also thought it was pretty hilarious. Vampire Hunter D, I also liked zombies and blood so enjoyed that too. Third manga was... Mars. My sister was quite into it and I read a few. It was alright.

I'd forgotten all about Wedding Peach! o.o lol! I read that from my friend around the same time that I borrowed and read Saint Tail from her. Funny how we we borrow books instead of buying them if our friends have them. XD

1) The first few animes that I ever watched were Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon, Digimon, Tenchi Muyo!, Tenchi in Tokyo, Tenchi Masaki, and Yu Yu Hakusho.

Dragon Ball, and Dragon Ball Z were okay in the beginning, but after a while the two animes just dragged on.

Salor Moon was a good, even though I never completed the anime.
Tenchi Muyo!, and Tenchi Masaki were two of my favorites out of the series. For the most of it, the characters remained the same.

Tenchi in Tokyo wasn't that great. There were a few new characters added to the series, which lead away from some of the original characters to the series. Since I failed to mention earlier, Tenchi Muyo!, Tenchi in Tokyo, and Tenchi Masaki were all related to each other. The story lines are all different from one another, but most of the characters remained the same.

The first three seasons of Digimon were my favorites. But like Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, it dragged and I lost interest in it.

Yu Yu Hakashu was another good anime, but I didn't get to finish watching it. This was because Adult Swim kept changing the time schedule for when it was on, and because I was young at the time I couldn't stay up long enough to wait for it to come on.

2) The first few mangas I ever got into were Inuyasha, Death Note, Vampire Doll, and Confidential Confessions.

I never did finish the Inuyasha mangas. It dragged on and on. Plus everything seemed to repeat itself. Just different characters; same situation.
Death Note was an interesting manga. It kept me thinking and I enjoyed the characters and artwork.

Vampire Doll is one of my all time favorites. I don't think there is an anime to it, since it is only a 6 volume series. The art work is fantastic and each book has its own plot.

Confidential Confessions is like Vampire Doll; each book has its own plot, and there are only 6 volumes to the series. Unlike Inuyasha, Vampire Doll, and Death Note, Confidential Confessions deals with everyday problems that female teenagers face. I love the series and wish there were more books to it. Although there is a spin off series to Confidential Confessions called Confidential Confessions: Deai. I haven't read any of the spin off series books, but I have seen them.

3) I was introduced to anime by the use of the television. And I had liked the anime Inuyasha, so I decided to buy a copy of it's manga. I bought it for reading purpose and for drawing practice.

4) First three mangas I would recommend to someone would be Vampire Doll, Wolf's Rain, and Confidential Confessions (for girls) or Death Note (for boys).

5) First three animes I would recommend to someone would be Wolf's Rain, Tenchi Muyo! or Techi Masaki, and Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler).

6) Yeah, mangas usually come before the animes. Although sometimes animes will come before the mangas. Mangas are the books to a series. They give the original story. Animes usually take the story lines from the mangas and add on to the story. But, sometimes the animes can start off like the mangas, but go in a complete different direction.

7) ._. Sorry for the long replies.

Let's see, the first anime was Sailor Moon. First manga was Tokyo Mew Mew.
I'd recommend these manga: Orange Planet, Fruits Basket, and Ouran High Host Club
For anime it would be: Full Metal Alchemist, Sailor Moon, and Vampire Princess Miyu.
I didn't know when I was little that Sailor Moon was anime, so I was technically introduced to anime by a friend when I was 12.
