Syrine nodded. "Fire/Earth. That sounds, right, if you know what I mean." She couldn't help but touch the symbols on the walls. They were cool, and 'magic' feeling. Just touching them made her feel happy...

"Whell it's just that when you said underground I didn't realize how deep it would be... But... I guess that I've made alot of changes in the last two years, all for the better, nows not the time to stop." She was very afraid. But she knew that with Syra she could get over this one fear and be stronger for it.

She started to grab Syrine's hand and as she did she felt a sudden feeling, like something was wrong. Not with their room choice. Or with holding the hand of a friend in comfort. But something like it had to do with fire in pain. In that instant it was gone. Hyuh...? Oh Whell. Maybe I'll learn about it in class.

To take her mind off the fear she asked, "Syra? Do you remember when Merlin was showing us around and he was talking about his days in summer camp?"

Syra noticed that Phyn grabbed her hand, and her face softened. poor love. She gently lead her. "hmm? no not really, why don't you tell me what I missed? What did the great Merlin do in summer camp?" she gently encouraged.

"Whell I tend to mishear things when I'm hunger, but at one point I thought that Merlin was saying that he 'turned a frog into a hot dog at summer camp, and then stuck it up the teacher's nose, before it resumed it's shape as a frog'. Weird hyuh?" Phyn giggled. She felt safer hanging out with Syra then she thought. It was like having the best friend in the whole world. Someone that you could tell all your problems to and they wouldn't leave you because of your pain and problems. "And then he was also was talking about how this one girl decided to swim upstream of a rushing river on a dare and he had to save her. Then they had ice cream sundaes and went fishing with cane poles and gummie bears. Though I don't know how that is possible. I didn't know that fish liked gummie bears..." She finished that one in thought. "Could you tell me why he was telling us stories about summer camp when he was supposed to be showing us around?"

((Sorry that I took awhile. I was having some time issues... Not enough time in the day and too many arrends and appointments... :headdesk: And my head hurts too... I Wonder why..?))

Syra laughed as Phyn told her what she remembered."He was probably telling us these stories to help us calm down. A lot of people dislike being in new and weird places, so that was to help us cope with everything." She could tell that Phyn was calming down, that was her goal.

Finally they came to a door. It had a name plate on it. "David Helflame" Phyn said aloud as they passed. "I wonder if he's a mean or nice person...?"

"Well we can hope his name is just ironic." she laughed, hoping she was right. "Oh! Here we are! She smiled, as she found a door that symbolized both earth and fire. "I'm so excited Phyn." She couldn't help herself from opening the door.

"I'm excited too!" Phyn could hardly wait til the door was open. She really hoped that the beds were soft. Inside the room there were two beds. And from the looks of them they were soft. Letting go of Syra's hand she walked in and set her bags down next to the bed that had the fire motif around it. "I hope you don't mind that I would like this one?" She asked.
