Yeah, I am. My internet pooped out a bit ago, so... But it's back for now. I'm okay. It's hot and humid again.

Yah? Ug. Silly humidity. It's been hot and humid here too, but it seems like we've gotten a little break this evening. I was outside playing about with the herb garden because it was pretty mild as the sun was setting

I was able to see that I had some lavender blooming XD This made me so happy. My first time successfully growing lavender. I need to transplant it into a raised bed next year so it can thrive better. I have one and two year old plants.
So, what's goin on with you? Weekend plans?

Oh, that's awesome! I love lavender. It's so pretty and it smells so nice...
No plans, really. I'll probably make a run to the store to pick up stuff that I'll need for my trip in a couple of weeks. Aside from that, though... *shrugs* How about you?

Wooooork. Lol. My friend is having a party I can't go to, cause I am working. BUT, two of my friends are traveling through my state and staying at my place overnight, on their way to their destination, so it will be nice to go out with them :3
Where are you going on your trip?

I am happy not to work weekends. XD But a job is a job! :) And it's always fun to see friends!
Philadelphia. To see the Liberty Bell, eat a cheesesteak, hopefully meet Facade (we have to figure that one out), and, most importantly, go to Lilith. (Well, meeting Facade is equally important, really, but... I wouldn't be going but for the concert, so... Hmm...) Which is in New Jersey, technically, but close enough.

Oh awesome!! All the Mene peoples are meeting up, I like it :3
And Lilith, haha as soon as you said that I was like, Adam's first wife??? lol. I've wanted to write a story about Lilith.....
But, Lilith Fair? Yes? Very nice. I've actually never been to Philly. I don't live too far either, but I would NOT want to bring my car down there into the city.

Yeah! I think so! :) We just have to plan it, and, well, tracking down Facade around here lately... :gonk:
And they did name the fair after Adam's first wife, so, there's that. XD I'm from out of state, and I have never been to Philadelphia, but... I really want to see Missy Higgins in concert, and she's only playing at a few venues, so why not Philly? And the lineup in general is awesome. I'm taking the train, so I don't have to worry about parking or anything. Just... navigating SEPTA.

I think Philly is like.... 3 1/2 hours south of me? 4 maybe..... I don't know. I've been to Pennsylvania, to Amish country a few times (my aunt used to own a bed and breakfast outside of Bird in Hand) and to Gettysburg, but never near Philly. I should go before my friend Paul moves out of Philly though.
Nice, sounds like that concert will be fun times :3 It's been a full year now since I've been to a legit concert. I should look to see who's playing around here. My last concert was *sigh* Loreena Mckennitt
oh, did you enter the Courtier's Closet Contest?? I doubt I will win anything since there are some really nice avis.... but, wouldn't it be nice?

I've been to Pennsylvania, too. Gettysburg once, and a few times passing through. I'll probably going twice this summer, actually, but the second time is for a sheep thing. XD
Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. I haven't been to much in the way of pop/rock type concerts. Just Sheryl Crow once, in the mid-'90s. (She's great, by the way.) I bet Loreena's concert was amazing...
