I only have problems with my own strategy at level 10, one of the fangirls always get's past, I've been trying to fix that for awhile but meh... I'll figure something out ^^ guide is good, I can see that it would work, unfortunately the lag makes it not work to well

As soon as the girls have cleared about the first third of the road, sell off two of your 200-gold towers to fund an extra; then, when your first fangirl dies, you can buy two more towers and put them in upcoming parts of the road. This usually works for me, but it depends on your configuration of 200 vs. 600 gold towers.

Honestly, your method of getting to (and past) at least level ten is one of the only I've had work to kill both of those fangirls.

I managed it once on my own, with some configuration of 200s+600s, but I can't remember what it was.

I barly get past level 8 and up without my health going down ALOT!

I've only ever managed it by buying/selling halfway through, yeah.

Yeah, they start going really fast in level 18. Keep your mouse on the "Buy" button and buy whenever you can.

So...uhm....would it be okay if I showed the way I did it? I don't usually lag unless I have a bunch of other crap going on and all I use is net throwers really. I only get hit once or twice (one of the stupid blue girls in level 10 of course) but yeah, anyways :x Or should I just post what mine looks like at the end so that they can work out where to put what when for themselves?

Oh and does anyone else have lines on their little pathway that the fangirls walk on? It bugs me D:

Oh man, I am jealous your computer can HANDLE that. I need to use way more Net Throwers. That many water balloon throwers competly KILLS my computer.

Besides putting the game on low quality, do you do anything else to make the game run?

You can put the game in a tab behind your current one, or minimize it. That seems to help, if your computer doesn't have to render what's going on, or something like that. I don't really understand it. I was only able to get past level 15 once I bought my new desktop, which is pretty fast.

You can also start with balloon-throwers all in the middle and then slowly add net-throwers in the corners starting level... 6? I think?, but you still have to buy/sell for level ten.

@scholar: I'll definitely try it though I guess it doesn't matter to me much as long as I get my monies :insane: xD

EDIT! The score is usually higher than that but I screwed up and didn't feel like starting over again xD

Also, I realized I never have the sound on, which probably helps with lag.

I usually have to close everything else and turn off the sound to get it to run past level 18. I might try minimizing it and just read a book or something while it runs.
It's odd because I can run Fallout 3 or Mass Effect or Oblivion without any problem at all. -shrug-

You know, I never get those lines. Huh. What I do get is balloons freezing on the screen and fan girls spinning/appearing off of the path and invisible fangirls getting in the mansion. (I assume they are invisible. The mansion will take hits for no reason sometimes.)

Also, oh man you guys have some crazy layouts. I usually stock up my net throwers throwers around the corners and then slowly line water balloon thowers up on the straight aways. I've never been able to get it to work otherwise.

If I can get the game to work I think I'm going to try your way, scholar. I've never actually gotten both fan girls on level 10.

SesshysMiko, I wonder in what order you put your guys? Like, do you do the entire middle first and then just build around the perimeter, or do you do the corners?

It's a little hard to explain D: It's kind of all over the place lol I'm itching to post a more detailed pic but I don't think scholar would like that? :x

That's the order I did them in and I just bought them whenever I had enough money. Where it says "3 balloon throwers" is where I had them at the very first level. I sold them right before the 10th level could get started so I could buy another net thrower lol

Oh and the ones that aren't 'circled' aren't needed I just had extra money so I put them there xD

That method did not work well for me xD I got to about level fourteen or so. I mean, I got forty gold, so that was nice, but didn't make it to the end :c

@Sesshy & Scholar: What browser to you guys use? Maybe it's IE that just doesn't care for Fangirls, much.

I get fangirls going out of the game box all the time. :)

And YAY they reset the scoreboard again, probably finally fixing the glitch!



I use Firefox right now, but Fangirls works fine for me in Safari and Camino as well. I haven't used IE in years.
