Hey guys so I've recently gotten into pixeling and I was wondering what you guys thought, and your input on maybe doing a shop?

Here's my first and only example.

Base by Sharm. :]

It took roughly two hours to complete, and was in MSPaint. Also how do i fix the blurryness?

It looks pretty good, though I never color like so. Make sure you pay attention to the detailing, and I'd get rid of the belly button if I were you.

i suggest to make it less blurrier to to make a new layer to it and trace it along without the shading then try shading it along again but use a rough brush

Llglassesll, pixelling isn't shading with brushes :/ Pixelling is going into MSPaint or another program with a 1 PIXEL brush and making art pixel by pixel. There are different styles, but colouring with the paint bucket tool or any other method isn't pixelling.

I would suggest something smaller to start out with - those kinds of bases are not good and not proper bases. They are most likely traced or stolen.

I would not start out with dolling - which is what you did here. Making clothes on a doll is not the best way to start out until you have basic shading and such down. Take it from a pixel-artist herself ;]

I would go onto Deviantart.com and look up pixel tutorials for objects and such - such as an apple :] It is easy to start with, doesn't require that much detail, and trains you on the basics of pixel art. It's quite easy and fun once you get the hang of it, just be patient ! Good luck <3 If you have any more questions then message me. ^.^

I agree with Crayonnn. Start with bases from mariiii.de or kawaiihannah.com/pixelsite, or any other doll base sites, and save it as a .png once you've finished with it :33

When you shade your clothing, don't go by the shading that's on the base.

You saved it wrong.
It's blurry because of that.
Next time you pixel something on mspaint, save it as a PNG.

Dystopia is right, don't shade the clothing like the skin is shaded, it will make it look like your recoloured the skin.
