RETURN OF THE OLDEN GODS
The gods of old were once men and women to be loved and feared for their power. Their powers came from those that worshiped them, the love and fear of the people made them stronger. They grew used to the love and the fear of men however. Too used to the humans following their every command, and they grew used to an easy life. The gods grew arrogant and turned their eyes from the lowly humans to drown themselves in their own pleasures. Humans became forgotten, and when they turned back they found that there loving devoted followers had left them. Forgotten in time and eventually, thought of only as a fable.
The gods were powerless to stop it, and by then.. It was too late. Slowly there powers were sucked from them and they became lethargic and weak, no longer able to leave their divine palaces and cast there influences on the world. They became dependent on their demigod children to care for them and to bring them news from the human world, because with their powers having been dwindled, they lost the ability to see into the mortal realms.
It felt like nearly an eternity for the gods to be waiting and almost powerless. They felt they had to do something to return to their former glory. But how? The answer was simple. Why not send their children down to earth and try to regain the faith? The decided to start small, to start with one city, a city filled with non believers to be turned into followers.
New York.
The plan was set, the children chosen, everything was in place. And so the gods used the last of their powers to send their children into the world as their last hope to regain their divine might. They are now hidden between the normal humans, their powers only to be used in dire emergencies. The reward for making others return in believing in the ancient gods? Joining the greater gods and taking their rightful place beside their divine parents. Failure was not an option.

RULES
No Goddmodding. >.< Just because someone's part god, doesn't mean you can godmod. This means no controlling people or doing something major to the plot. Unless Ascadellia, Ahriean and the other players approve of such actions. Which isn't very likely.
No ** for action, Basically the same rule you see in every RP. I'm alright with it when it's in the ooc thread of course. But just not in the RP since it ruins everyone elses experience. and in third person please.
Please use correct grammar and punctuation. No text talk
Powers, if you have powers, can not be to powerful, and must be approved. Humans are humans!! No powers, no abilities to control anything.
There can be other races, like demons and such, from the myths.. But remember, they're supposed to be hiding from the humans, so no wings, tails, horns, ect showing. And.. They have to aid the demi-gods in what they can.
Follow the TOS
If your going to be gone for an extended amount of time and you know you're gonna be gone, Please let us know! So we know to avoid getting stuck.
Don't ignore other peoples posts! They might have something important to say.
On that note. If you're gone and the RP had jumped two pages and there aren't very long posts.. Don't ask for an update!! >.< You could at least read that much. x.x; It will only do you good to read it! Since some people might not know exactly, and thus we could give a update that isn't as epic as it was really written. Of course, you can ask for an update if, let's say, you've been gone for more than one or two days.
No one/two liners please. Give enough so we can work with. Not one or two sentences. A paragraph, three to four lines would be very much welcome. :3
No Cybering! Romance and violence is permitted, but don't be explicit about it.
You Must send your profile in a PM, nobody likes digging through a thread looking for someones profile.
Highlight the rules section
Title the PM Ranma and send it to Ahriean AND Ascadellia
Send one of us your profile and a small rp sample 3-4 sentences and wait for approval until you post.

DERRICK
The suns rays were just peaking over the horizon bathing the beautifully corrupt city of New York in a early morning light. Despite the early hour New York was as busy as always, filled with many noises and many mortals. Mortals with unstable belief, just waiting for the right influences. Mortals who haven't sacrificed or offering to the gods for far to may years and need to be taught there place again.
"Soon mother dear, can you feel there fear? They fear everything from their own mortality to the strangers walking the very streets them. That fear only needs to be redirected to the right persons, to you mother, and their godhood could be replenished tenfolds, to the point that you could leave the imprisonment of Hel and join me hear on the surface of earth to walk among the mortals again, having them beg to bask in your beauty..." Derrick trailed off and and continued to stare down through the window of his penthouse apartment down the people below. "They're like ant mother, how hard can it be to control ants? why bother working with the other gods, only death awaits mortals, and after they die they will go to you, to us, they should only need to fear you..." Trailing off again Derrick pulled his hair back into a tight ponytail before going to his desk to retrieve his sunglasses.
There he paused, brushing his fingers against a piece of carved bone with runes engraved on it. Derrick waited for a moment, but he felt no words from his mother. She was weak now but soon Derrick vowed to make her strong again. placing his glasses over his haunting yellow gaze he left his private section of his apartment and moved into the living area were there was a breakfast waiting for him, as well as a letter of resignation from his current hired help.
With a sigh he picked up a piece of fruit walked over to his computer. "Oh mother, help is so hard to keep in this would, but at least it is easy enough to replace with the exchange of bits of paper..." With that Derrick bit into his apple while one handed he started to search the internet for a suitable replacement to help care for his needs.
SHATHIKK
At this early hour at the start of the weekend a bright Yellow Taxi pulled up in-front of a mid-ranged apartment building letting out a beautiful man who could have easily passed for a tall flat chested woman, and her two suitcases.
"Mis-MR. Boros, do you need help with your luggage up to your room? the cabbie asked half out of his car to help.
"No thank you Tony, I'm much stronger then I look and I really just want to get settled in, thank you for giving me a ride from the airport." the man, Shathikk, placed two folded up bills in the mans hand before grabbing his wrist. "Any thing you may have over heard Tony? you will forget it or I WILL find you, and I fear you will like me much less them." that said Shathikk gave the man a little wave and what could only be discribed as a giggle before picking up both his large bags and walking into the apartment building.
the cabbie just watched him go, unable to even count the money that was placed into his hand he was shaking so bad.
After a short stare-down with the apartment manager, regarding weather or not Shathikk was who he said he was, Shathikk walked into a nice loft style apartment, that came with a washer and dryer, and even two beds, hidden from each other by a wall that only extended partway across the room and some curtains.
Placing his luggage on the bed that had the fire escape window Shathikk stretched and looked around the place. It was nice and modern, not as nice as his family home in India but good enough. Unzipping his suitcases Shathikk started digging for his laptop. "I wonder if anyone has answered my roommate add yet, I did say they could just drop in so maybe I should just stay in for the day." Yawning as he pulled out his laptop Shathikk decided that would be a good idea, because it felt like the jet lag from his sixteen hour flight was finally starting to catch up with him.

TEJINA
Still around the early of morning during the weekend, a young girl awoke from her cabin in the nearby woods. Her cute, small kitten was laying soundly on the edge of the pillow she wasn't using purring as he slept deeply, paw twitching every now and then.
The young girl smiled at him as she lay on her side then sat up in bed, yawning and stretching. Being careful not to disturb him she got off the bed. She succeeded and headed to the kitchen to whip up some breakfast. She had energy and figured she'd make it by hand herself rather than concur up something.
Once breakfast was done an hour later and she was dressed, the young girl readied her teal, magic-powered scooter for a ride. She lacked practice with controlling it and promised to practice each day till she had better control of it. Even if it meant getting injured each time which usually happened.
Once ready, she took off into the sky and rode while admiring the atmosphere below which usually called for something to happen from lack of focus. Usually something bad like a collision into something. She was pretty good about avoiding those however. She had a feeling today was going to be different...

Kamilah Eshe
Kamilah made her way down the busy streets of New York. It was still early enough, so for now, she was trying to scope the place out. Trying to get a better feel of it. It was very much different than Egypt. She missed the sun and clear skies. She could hardly see the stars here! And it was so, gloomy. Something that was rather depressing. She had worn a light purple sundress, one that complimented her figure and reached down to her knees. For shoes she wore sandals and as some decoration she wore a solid gold armlet that coiled around a few times. That would hardly ever change. She hated how the normal shoes constricted her feet. She enjoyed the breeze. Some people hardly noticed her, and were rather rude.
She almost had half a mind to tell some people off when they shoved into her. She didn't have the heart however. Oh father. Why have things changed so much? Do we really need these people to restore your powers? She knew the goal but she still didn't understand why they had to start here. Who was she to argue with the gods though. She wasn't even a full goddess yet. That would change though. If she completed the goal along with the other demi-gods.. They would all join their immortal parents.
She made her way to a cafe, since she was getting a little hungry. She had money of course, having been provided enough to make her own for a few weeks. She still had to get a job. Her father had offered to give her everything she needed, but being ever stubborn, she had refused. Now she had to find a good place to live in and a job. The job was to help her assimilate with everyone else. The living space, well.. She didn't want to live somewhere huge by herself. Which she was sure to have had if her father had his way. He always was a little spoiling. She had thankfully found a nice enough place that was a sort of, apartment styled, but a bit more on the high end. Enough to please her father. She was to move there by tonight.
Her purple eyes scanned the place, looking around as she spotted a seat near a window at the cafe. She quickly headed there and sat down, getting the menu and started to look through it. Good thing she had learned the language before coming here. She smiled charmingly at one of the waitresses, asking for a bagel and a hot chocolate. Once she got her order down, she turned her attention out the window, inspecting the humans. Some were very curious.
Their manners were different. Sadly she wanted to restore their faith in the gods, but they were rather deaf to anything they didn't find in their interest. It had been harder than she though. They had to start off small. A few people would be good enough. But who?
Damien
The black haired youth groaned somewhat, heaving a heavy box away from his desk before he took out some books. Now he knew the phrase 'taking your work home'. Normally he would object to such things but he couldn't help it. He had to do a ton of research, and only had a few weeks to finish the paper. He brushed some papers away before opening his laptop. He was looking for another room as he didn't have enough money to pay for this one. It wasn't that he didn't have it. It was just that it was getting too small for him.
Damien turned on the computer, waiting for it to load as he grabbed a plate of hot pockets from the top of the box of books. The books were mostly myths, but also historical stuff. Mostly because his class needed him to write about something he was 'passionate' about. He had to find three things from history that stood out to him, and then expand on them. Also how it changed things to what they were today. The last part was a bit tricky.
Once he took a bite from the food, he clicked on the internet, checking out some pages to see if anyone was offering a place to stay for the time being. For a cheap price and close to the college. He found a couple, but none that really stood out too much. He almost sighed before he just gave up, figuring he would just put up an ad himself, to see if anyone wanted a roommate, to contact him. The information he put was his cell phone, name and that he, well needed a roommate who wouldn't mind any books around sometimes.

"You know this is the stupidest idea you've had all year I don't know why mother allows you to get away with things like this one of these days you are going to get yourself killed." Jaden mutters under his breath knowing full well that his older brother wasn't listening to him.
Jason just gave the boy a wide grin as he pulled his brother through the crowd by his right hand. They were headed into the city right now having just come up to visit some relatives. Their grandmother, Ashia, their twelve cousins, Six aunts and uncles, whose names Jason couldn't remember for the life of him and their second cousins. Their mother was one of seven children one of the younger ones. It was a family reunion that brought them here from their home in New Orleans, Louisiana to the bustling city streets of NYC. They had been here nearly a week. Jason was very excited.
"Aww come on lil' bro we don' get ta go out sa much any mo'. You be in dem' books so off'en." He says in his thick accent. It always made Jaden cringe. He knew he had one as well but he train himself to speak with out it. Jason hadn't much cared. They both had rather deep voices for their age as well, a trait that ran in the family as well.
Their mother had given them free reign of the city for as long as they want as long as they didn't cause any trouble. That was fine. Jaden wouldn't let him get into too much trouble and there wasn't really much they could do with out their mothers permission. What the Matriarch said was law. The oldest member of their family was Ashia (husband unknown to them he had been dead before they were born), the oldest of her brothers and sisters but they didn't know her very well. So that was a mote point. It was nothing out of the ordinary.
Shaking his head, Jaden just let his brother drag him along. His eyes drifting over the crowd in a calculating gaze. They were getting odd looks. But then again they were a head taller then most people and they didn't look any older then they were, not to mention they were holding hands. At the speed Jason was going her could tell that people were actually moving out of their way. It didn't help that his brother looked like a foot ball player either (though back home he is actually an avid soccer player for their high school). Jaden however was a bit slimmer then his brother though no slouch in the sport himself, it was not his thing. While Jason doesn't bother to stay on tune with any song, Jaden had taken to choir quite well. He enjoyed singing and the deep baritone of his voice won him the respect of his teacher, Mrs. Vin.
"oh oh!" Jason half shouts trying to get Jaden's attention. "Look a cafe. I want coffee!"
"Like you need any of that..." Jaden raises his eye brow at his brothers pleading look. They eventually ended up at an outside table while Jason happily chatted up the waitress. It was not much different from home really. Their were definitely less plants and more people, he noted rather irritatedly.

Eira
Eira stretched her arms up and yawned. So, she, and the other demigods were supposed to find new worshippers, using any force necessary? Hah, she liked the sound of that. "Any force necessary" After all, it is better to be feared than to be loved. And Eira was planning on striking a whole lot of fear into a bunch of mortals. Eira packed her favorite weapons, and set off for the heart of the city of New York. This was going to be fun. First, she had to get the scope of the city though. She strolled through the city, as confident and smooth as a cat. As she passed men stared. No one stared where she came from. It was a nice feeling. Men like these should be easy to impress, she though. She stopped a moment and thoguht for a second. Where would there be the most humans, besides these busy streets. She didn't know enough about modern cities to answer the question. She wanted to make her first move now, in the middle of the square! She had been told to wait for an opportune moment though. Whatever that meant. Ugh, she hated waiting. She paced the street, thinking about when the perfect time to strike would be, what her plan was to be laid out. She had been told to start small, which seemed foolish to her, but she had been told that the mortals were different now. So she must wait, and plan. She had heard there might be others here. Perhaps she should look for them first. Decided, she stalked off to find her first fellow godling.
Amadhy (Amy)
Amadhy was slightly bored. Her lifeguarding job had just ended a few weeks ago, and now she didn't have much to do. She had signed up for classes at the university, just to have something to do. This was the weekend though, so she had no classes, just free time. She hadn't heard of the plots for gathering new worshippers, being part of nature itself. She needed only water and sunlight. She pulled her now-black hair into a ponytail. She decided to head to the local cafe, to get something to drink. She was usually quite thirsty when out of water. She decided she'd get a smoothie in there. The door bell jingled as she entered.
"Hello Mr. Chen. Can I get a raspberry smoothie?" Amadhy smiled.
"Sure Amy. Let me just blend that for you." He nodded and began work on it. Although his last name was Chen his accent was as New York as "Amy's". His great-grandparents had been immigrants, so he'd never had a Chinese accent at all.
"So how is business?"
"Good. How are your classes going?"
"Pretty well. Although I don't get some of the things."
"Well don't come to me for help! I only know your basic functions to get the numbers right."
"Don't worry. They had tutors there."
"Well good. I'd hate to worry about your education."

Kamilah Eshe
Kamilah soon got her food, along with a knife to spread the cream cheese. She noticed some more people come in, two of them opting to go outside instead and another was a female. She began to prepare the warm bagel, drinking some of the smoothie. Something felt familiar now, maybe she wasn't alone anymore. A demi-god was close. She bit into the bagel once it was finished being prepared. Chewing thoughtfully, she had to wonder how to get people to believe in them. Honestly, she didn't know. There were so many people, and so little time. Even starting small would take time. She wanted to finish it quickly. Brushing a strand of hair behind her ear, she hummed under her breath before sighing. Since she had no 'school' so far, she was free most days. Luckily this was the weekend, so it wouldn't be odd to see a young person around so early. She looked at the skies again, tilting her head. Are you all able to watch us yet? she thought to herself, doubting they could. They were cloudy, and it seemed that it could rain at any moment. Too bad she hadn't brought anything to shield herself from it.

TEJINA
Tejina parked her scooter in front of the only cafe she knew about in the city and locked it with a bike lock. After making sure her alarm and invisible power shield were on, Tejina entered the building. It didn't look very busy, but she had a feeling there were some in there who weren't exactly human... Not that it mattered. It made them unique.
Soon after her gaze around, Tejina walked up to the counter and looked at the menu above it on the wall and wondered what she should have. Usually it was some kind of hot coffee flavour mixture, but it was slightly warm out. Maybe something cold would work for today... "Hmm..." She ordered a strawberry smoothie with banana whipped cream and sat down at any table. She was shy around people and liked a table to herself anyway. She never felt comfortable asking to join another table people were sitting at.

Eira used her senses to seek out other demigods. And the feeling was very strong at a certain cafe... She quickly walked in that direction, the feeling growing stronger. She stalked through, and closed her eyes. She could sense it incredibly strong here. In fact, she could sense other magical beings here too. Perhaps she could recruit them to the cause. She could find a reason to make them want to help. Who to talk to first though? The demigod would be the best bet. After all, they would already be on her side. They all wanted the same thing. And working together, well it'd be just like an army. And armies were always more formidable than individuals. She decided to talk to the purple eyed girl first. She was clearly not fully human. She walked up to her and whispered.
"I think we have a common interest. If you are what I think you are, and I think you are." If she was a demi-god, and it wasn't a trick of her mind, she'd know what she was saying.

Jaden sighed sipping on his tea. He would need it if he was going to spend the day with his brother. The entire day. Without Jason's friends to distract him Jaden would not have a chance to slip away. "You do realize it could rain today." He says Jason humming rather animatedly.
"Oh just shush you. You were da one that sai' to bring our coats. If it rain, we fine." Jason grinned brightly at his brother. He was so up-tight sometimes. He hadn't always acted this way. Their mother had always put them together and Jason wanted to develop their bond. Jaden however got more annoyed then anything. They grew apart in a short amount of time. Despite what his brother thought he knew why they were growing apart. But he was going to do everything he could to keep them together. Even annoy him.
Jaden just rubbed his right temple. Of course he had but that didn't mean he wanted to to be out on a day like this. Jason placed a hand on Jaden's shoulder his eyes filled with curious concern. Jaden just shook his head and sipped his tea.
Jason's eyes dropped to the table before glancing around. The cafe was quickly filling. He had hoped it would remain with as few people as possible even he got annoyed with crowds. At school he had no choice but some time with his brother. He guessed not. Though he should have suspected it. They should have gone back to Harlem and stayed there. Less energetic then he had been he gazed into the cafe itself as people situated themselves. Some of them smelled different. He had the ability to sniff out death. Surprisingly New Orleans smelt less like death then this city. He knew Jaden had to have sensed it too.

Kamilah blinked, somewhat surprised when she heard a girl's voice come from above her. She'd dazed off for a moment. Her purple eyes slid up, inspecting the new arrival. She seemed powerful. Almost on the same wavelength as her. She smiled calmly, raising an eyebrow. She did understand her words. "Ah. Well, you guess correct. Daughter of whom?" she asked curiously. She wanted to know who this demi-god was sired from. So they could see what they could work with Teamwork might be helpful. She motioned with a hand to sit down across from her. No need to be rude to someone who stood on equal grounds. And this was the first time she saw someone other than the ones from home. They never were told who exactly from the gods children they were going to be around. Or even work with.

Eira took the seat gracefully. "I'm the daughter of Freya. Norse goddess." She added in case she didn't know. She herself did know most of the cultures of the other demi-gods. And that would save her having to ask. "My name is Eira." She held out a large hand to shake the other demi-gods. She seemed amiable to the cause of joining together, but she didn't want to push it. Much as she hated it, diplomacy was key here. She could put those stupid lessons to use finally. "What's your parentage?"

DERRICK
Needed: Personal Assistant.
Competent individual with experience working as an assistant, finance skills a plus. Must have good work ethics, and be able to learn quickly.
Responsibilities:
Shopping and preparation of meals,
laundry,
cleaning,
running errands, transport provided by me,
representing Gen-Advance at events and meetings when I am unable to reach them.
I am the CEO of Gen-Advance, a medical research company and as my assistant you will be paid through them.
Compensation: $60,000 annually
Send resume and cover letter to [email protected] AND the Gen-Advance hiring center.
With the final key strokes Derrick finished his job posting and got up to stretch. He would have to call some of his contacts latter, the special ones, to find and remove his previous employee’s memory of working with him. The was not right for New York to find out that there were Demi-gods among them. He did not blame his employee for leaving him, Derrick couldn’t even bring himself to remember his name, Derrick could be needy and spoiled at times and then at the drop of a pin he would be bat shit crazy ready to make the boy rot from the inside out. The fact that the boy always seemed to have some illness or another didn’t help the matter as well. It still peeved him a little though, that he couldn’t bother to resign to Derrick in person.
But then Derrick had been in a few of his moods lately…
A soft mewing and a brush against his leg snapped him out of his mindset, Annette was rubbing against his leg and purring softly. “Why good morning my darling did you sleep well?” for once his voice was nearly human, and a smile grew across his face as he bent down to pick up his cat. Annette was a large Siamese cat, not fat mind, but just big. Cradling her in his arms derrick walked to the kitchen to check her food and water dish. Good at least the assistant had remembered to feed his darling, else his contacts would be removing more then a few memories.
Annette purred louder and butted her head against Derricks chin. Stroking her fur for a moment he looked at the clock, it was nearly ten. “I know my dear, we did not to get to spend much time together this morning. But I simply must get ready for work.” Placing the cat down Derrick turned to take care of the un eaten breakfast and ready himself.
Fifteen minutes latter Annette was in a corner sulking and Derrick was leaving his pent house. “I’ll be home around 6, I’ll bring you back a treat.” With that he locked the door and headed towards the elevator. Soon after Derrick was walking down the stares of the building, glaring at a moving truck parked in front of it, now he would have to walk a few blocks before even dreaming of catching a taxi.
SHATHIKK
There was a thumping noise.
Thud thud thud.
“Ahrgh can’t a cold blooded guy get a nap around here!” Shathikk hissed as he pushed himself off of the bed and stretched. He felt horrible, turning to look at his clock he realized why. “Gah only thirty minutes! What was the point?”
Thud thud thud.
I swear to Ganesh…” Shathikk hissed, almost turning 180 degrees at his waist he gave one last stretch before heading to the door.
Thud thud th-
Now that he was awake he could clearly tell that it was a few doors down, and even make out part of the conversation.
“Oh-hoho no! you ain’ waltzin in here after you been out all night.” It was a very loud and dramatic female voice.
“But sweetty the office-“ this was a soft spoken males voice, but his sentence was cut off by the slamming of the door.
“What lovely neighbors, must remember to send them a fruit basket or something…” Shathikk grumbled as he headed back to his computer just as the knocking started again. There hadn’t been any replies to Shathikks roommate request, which put him in a bit of a grump. But cursing the site he found someone looking for an apartment with a short description and a cell phone number.
After sending a link to his own posting Shathikk dug around looking in his bag for his cell phone, eventfully finding it wrapped in a pair of harem pants. Checking the number again he dialed it in and waited for it to start ringing…

TEJINA
Tejina sat there sipping her smoothie as she looked around the room. She was curious about all the not-humans in the room and wondered what they were like. Were they nice, mean, understanding of faults... She wasn't sure. Being what she was, she didn't get out often enough. She was always practicing her potions and other things trying not to burn her house down or worse. Get teased about being a failure. Either one was bad. She sighed as she sipped again while now reading signs. She wasn't much good at anything she thought, but always willing to try.

Jason poked at Jaden as he read through the book he always seemed to the have with him. Jaden glanced at his brother over the book to see a pleading look on his face. He sighed closing the book around his finger and placing it in his lap.
"What do you want?" He asks a flat stare aimed at his brother who grinned at him still pleading.
"Can I borrow your note book?" Jason asks clasping his hands together, eyes still wide at his brother. "I'll give it back in a second, promise!"
Jaden just rolls his eyes shrugging the shoulder back off and handing it to his brother. He could have just taken the damn thing, it wasn't like he cared. He wondered why he hadn't bought one himself. He had gotten the notebook computer from his brother for their birthday but he hadn't gotten himself one, said he didn't have the money for two. It was a lie of course but he never question his brother about it. He supposed he wasn't as curious as he thought as he went back to his book.
Jason cheered slipping the Notebook from his brothers bag. This place had wi-fi so he'd be able to do something while his brother ignored him. There wasn't much else to do other then find the source of the smell which he had. Their were quite a few none humans here as well. He recognized it from somewhere but for the life of him he couldn't remember how. Again Jaden was still ignoring it. It seemed that the most of them were female though. Odd. But he supposed that was how it was. There were two girls who were off by themselves and then two sitting together. Normally he would have invited one of them over but he decided pissing off Jaden while he was reading wasn't a good idea and he ducked his head to the small computer, which looked even smaller in his large hands. He'd be careful not to break it.

TEJINA
Tejina pulled her own tiny laptop out of her messenger bag and turned it on. After a bright pink flash and catchy electronic tone she started typing up something. She had a lot of work to do if she was ever going to achieve anything. She had a weird feeling something was going to happen to the world soon and needed all the practice she could get. She didn't bother changing into her proper training clothes via computer as it would take too long.
After a sip of smoothie she continued typing as she spaced out from everything around her. Including the TV in a corner of the room that was on. She had to put all her focus into her studies right now and figured it was the perfect time to do that here since there was wi-fi here. Something she didn't have at home. She rested her elbow on the table and placed her forehead in her hand as she concentrated. The way she was sitting made it look like she was bored, but she really wasn't.

Kamilah
Kamilah nodded in understanding. She had heard of the goddess before. "Nice to meet you. I am Kamilah Eshe, daughter of the egyptian god Toth." she said, giving a small nod before drinking again. She glanced around again, smiling a little at some of the people that just entered. She was more or less calm, but a bit happy. Now that she knew another demi-goddess, she wouldn't have to crack her brain on how to get more people. She didn't know anyone else around here, since it was rather hard to get someone that was from her place this far from Egypt. Or this far in the time line. She almost sighed before tilting her head. "Have you ordered anything?"
Damien
Damien was studying up on some chemistry when he heard his cell phone ring. Moving his hair from his face, he searched for the small device, which was hidden beneath some books. He really did have to organize the place. It was becoming somewhat of a mess. Even for him. He blinked a little, slightly confused as to who was calling him. It wasn't until he picked it up and saw the number that he figured that it might have something to do with his little ad. That was quick. He thought before he yawned, clicking the button to receive the call. He held it to his ear and raised an eyebrow "'ello?" he asked, scratching the back of his head. He was a bit happy that someone had seen his ad so soon. Now just to figure out some details. He kept his tone calm, though still friendly enough. He had to remember to save the number just in case.

TEJINA
Tejina soon came across a potion she'd been wanting to try for a long time but could never do it. She wanted to try now rather than wait till she got home even though there were others around her in the cafe.
Reaching into her bag she pulled out a small cauldron and some bottles of stuff knowing she might get inspired by something and set them all on the table. She read over the directions carefully from the online manual she'd finally found and started mixing a few things. A bit of this here some of that there. Tejina had labeled the bottles of course but hadn't quite memorized what each thing was called even though she was using the rights things.
The mixture started to bubble and overflow in the cauldron and she panicked accidentally tipping a bottle of liquid over. It opened and a single drop fell into the cauldron. By this time the mixture was in rage and very deep purple. Not the colour of success for this potion as the mixture exploded all around her making her scream in fright.

Jason and Jaden jumped at the same time. Even though they were out side the door was open. They had heard that with their acute hearing. Both of them had been distract by what they were doing so when they glanced over they noticed a girl sitting in front of a cauldron.
That..wasn't smart. Jason instantly was on his feet to see what was wrong. he walked into the cafe and stood, towering over the girl in her chair, eyes slightly worried. "You al'ight." He asks looking over her a bit to make sure.
Jaden just shook his head and went back to his book. His brother could handle himself. He was not going to deal with a witch who had decided upon working in public. Though he supposed in Manhattan it was fine. People might be amused if anything.
In New Orleans it was common to see witches, story tellers, psychics. It didn't bother him much.

Tejina coughed at the following smoke as it surrounded her. The table and floor was a mess of purple ooze and yet somehow her cauldron was still in one piece. "That wasn't smart..." She coughed again. "Yeah... I'm okay. I think... Can't say the same for my laptop, though." The smoke cleared to reveal a sparking computer as she sweat dropped. "Shouldn't a problem. I hope..." She looked up at the direction of the voice. "Thanks for asking." She responded with a joking tone with a giggle. Not a rude sarcastic one. She'd become a mess, but it happened all the time so she didn't worry about it. "I'm a bit too rash sometimes." She blushed.

Jason nodded to the girl. He understood. Sometimes he too, was unable to help himself and he found himself in situations his brother would have to get him out of. Not that he minded of course. It was always funny to see Jaden actually expressing an emotion other then annoyance. He grinned down at the five-two girl. He was always amused by how small people were compared to him. Jaden hated it, Jason just laughed. She was thin, petite his mother called it and compared to him she was a doll him standing six-four.
"Well as long as you are alright." he says a bright grin on his full lips as a human walked over asking if they were alright. Jason just charmingly asked them to get something to clean up the mess. He pointed a finger to the now sparkling computer. "Was that on purpose?" He asks with an amused smile at her embarrassed face.

Tejina nodded. "It happens all the time at home. I was in too much of a hurry to get started on this new experiment and I guess... Well... It was a failure as usual. Not my best idea to do it in public..." She blushed from embarrassment as she helped clean up the mess she made with the napkins near her as she answered both questions at once. "I'm sure everyone saw that, too... How embarrassing." She hadn't noticed the height of the guy much as she was looking down mostly at her mess and sparking computer.

"No, not yet." Eira looked up at the menu. She contemplated. "I'll try those things called 'Chicken Tenders'. Meat sounds like a good thing right now." Eira went up to the counter and ordered a serving of chicken tenders. They smelled deliscious, if nothing else. She hadn't had human food before. This should be interesting. She had of course, heard of it. But they hadn't eaten such things in the land of the Gods.
