Well, I've always been the sort of person who stands out from the crowd, the sort of person that likes all the weird things and has a personality as odd as that to boot. I love being me, I love being the odd person that everyone remembers, the person that sticks in people's minds.
Though now people are beginning to take the sort of things that make me me and use them as their own. I mean, the things that people are just so blatantly taking range from the dudes that I like to the phrases that I say.
I seriously am beginning to feel like I am losing my sense of orginality, like I am blending into the crowd.
I may sound like I'm over-reacting slightly, but it's seriously annoying me. I mean everyone has their own personalities and the things that make them unique, why with all of that do people feel the need to mimick the way that I talk and breathe and live and so on?
I don't want to have to change the person that I am, but I really miss being the odd one. Society isn't supposed to be like me.
Vexy over and out.

You're still you. Even if everyone else in the world changed their name to your's and followed you around with a magnifying glass, it wouldn't change the fact that you are still you.
It's natural to feel a bit jealous when people copy your actions and interests, but that doesn't mean you're losing your "originality." Just like you shouldn't change yourself in order to be more like other people and fit in, you shouldn't put a conscious effort into changing yourself just so that you're different and stand out. If people are really your friends and you happily continue on your merry way without giving the others a thought, then you'll stand out naturally for your own reasons.

It's like Knerd said, Your still YOU!
Just hope that they will forget about it and it's only a phase. Hey your kinda almost like a trendsetter and influencing people too, that's a compliment. If you want go a step higher? Not saying to change yourself but expand to new things you'll like =]

You'll still be you know matter what. But I know exactly how you feel, some people say imitation is a form of flattery but it just bothers me. I think the only thing you could do is either ignore it or talk to the people you feel are possibly copying your little phrases or things. Or you can just keep on being you and make up new things, being you as only you can.

Dude, there is a good reason why you're my friend, and not all those other people!
You are awesome because you don't copy people, you're YOU and that's all that matters :D

No matter how original someone thinks they are - it's been done before.
Just because you did it first doesn't mean you have dibs - others have a right to dress/act/talk the way they want.
I understand it can be annoying - but you are going to have to deal with it.
-Points to Knerds sig- Conformity is relative. Perhaps this is just because I live in a city where /everyone/ tries to be the social outcast or the weird person... But if you start looking at yourself as your own person and not 'the weird one' you might start feeling better.
