Lol. Because I hate Light with a passion, I'm going to say that I want Zac Effron to play him. So I can laugh at the stupid Light fangirls.

-grins- that's one good thing if he's played by Zac Efron I supose but the makers of the movie should at least TRY to make it good!!!!! I hate it when they don't put any effort into a movie and they just reply on the hype of the series/book/whatever that it's based on to make it good. THat just defeats the purpose of making the bloody thing in the first place!!!!!!! All they're interested in is making money and they don't care about the quality half the time! It's disgusting!

OH MY GOD, I will die if they cast Zac Efron! He can't play a complex character like Light!!

Light's not complex at all. He's clever, but he gets complacent and lazy in his "reign" as Kira. All he is is a power-hungry child with a severe god complex. Light was too drunk in his own confidence and that's why he lost. Besides, we all know L figured out Light was Kira from the get-go, he just didn't have the evidence to prove it. His death, however, was monumental in helping towards solving the case. Not to mention Near also figured out Light was kira because as I mentioned, Light got sloppy and lazy. Near could've ended it anytime he wanted to, but he chose to toy around with Light for a while.

=/ I don't know anyone who could portray L. That'd be interesting. Knowing them, they'd probably pick Johnny Depp.

That's a good point actually. If Light had been a bit more careful and used that large brain of his then things might not've turned out the way they did. Oh well, he deserved it!

And eventually, we'll forget his name and know him as the guy with weird habits he's picked up from every character he's played! Wow, I've been gone a while-when did we switch from Bleach to Death Note?
In any case, yet again I really hope that doesn't happen-so let's stop jinxing it, just to be safe! Please?

Yeah, that was how it happened. And we probably SHOULD stop jinxing stuff or it'll just come back to bite us all on the ass like it usually does...

I don't care. I WANT to see Light butchered.

But if HE'S butchered then it'll ruin the film!!!!!! I mean, I'll admit Light is an ass, there's no denying that, but he's still a main character and if they mess him up then they'll mess the film up.
