It's not terrible, but I think you should try darker colors and not using lined paper :)
It always helps, even if you have to go to greater leingths to obtain it, it's worth it!
Keep practicing, you'll be great eventually!

The art forums including freebies are pretty slow and not alot of people click on the ones further down the list so its not surprising there aren't many people requesting.
Maybe get some people chatting in there to bring in more people and try different styles of art for examples.

To be completely frank, drawing on notebook paper doesn't get much brownie points. It can be done, but you have to be damn good to make it work, or at least make the art look so phenomenal no one notices the annoying lines.
Also, it's rather...small, and looks like you rushed. Take your time on work, show you are willing to be patient and careful with each piece that is ordered. :) that gets people's attention.

If you want to get better at art in general start practicing realism basics first then move on to stylized art like anime. It will help you with proportions, anatomy, and lighting as you keep working towards your own style of art. Like everyone else has mentioned, don't use line paper if you're making commissions. It really works against your work. It's fine if it's for your own personal practice but work on clean white paper if you want to sell or give it to other people. You work will look better presented and people will appreciate it much more. Hope this helps. :)

i also think you may have potential, but you need to practice more...
there are books or tutorials online that can help you improve your style.
or try first to draw what's in front of you: a plant, a table, the room...another pencil you have laying around...this will help you improve :) if you cant afford to spend money on books ;)
speaking of style im not sure if you tried out a manga/anime style or a chibi style.
and maybe the lined paper 'scared' people away ^^

I do free art on gaia (I don't really like drawing mene's avatars), and NO ONE would really post in my threads at first. But after a couple weeks of practice practice practice, I got a lot better, and now people are clamoring for my cute art. :)

You're not at all bad, but your not really good either.
I recommend researching anatomy or finding references and taking your time to think about how'd you draw it. I'd also recommend using guide lines as these help out alot. Even the more advanced artists often still use guide lines as it helps keep proportions in check. Then of course as everyone has been saying practice :3
Another thing I recommend doing is looking up different artists and see what style they use and what you like about the style. Doing so will help you develop your own style. (I hope that makes sense my grammar is fail, even though I like writing...)

its not terrible but i agree that using un-lined paper and some darker colours will help a lot
also there is most likely going to be a halloween event at the end of the month and freebie threads are usually a big hit in any event
I suggest giving that a shot and maybe advertise your regular freebie shop there as well to generate more interest
