Gundam SEED and Gundam SEED Destiny. These shows are just hours of time wasted.

Hmm, idk. I kinda liked Bobo-Bo. (there are seven 'bo's by the way) It was completely random and absurd, but I liked it. It made me chuckle~ and provided me with an excuse for when I do something weird -- "Because I'm a torpedo!"

Other than that... hmm, I'm not sure... the only one that really comes to mind is One Piece, although a lot of people seem to love it. I dunno, the characters freaking look ridiculous, whether they have a 6-inch nose or whatever. I'm picky with my anime in that I have to like/love the art style of the anime. If the art looks stupid or something, I find it distracting and I can't watch it.

@Narcissus I respectfully disagree with you gundam seed and gundam seed destiny are good animes.
I think the stupidest anime would have to be Bakugan it always seemed like such a stupid concept and an anime I just discovered called Bakuman the first episode has the main character in the emo corner and not even bothering to go out of the boring life he describes to go for his old dream of becoming a manga artist.

----------

then the main character out of nowhere asks the girl he likes to marry him once both of them have achieved their dreams

@Angeline - Oooh! Bakuman, we totally watched the first episode of that at the anime club at my college! :P You didn't like it? I thought it was hilarious! That one guy that forced him into partnership amused me greatly :3 and I loved the art style. And Bakugan, eh? It kind of seemed like a strange cross between YuGiOh and Pokemon to me. Some of the characters were kind of obnoxious, and the plot/story was typical of a children's anime-based-off-a-game kind of thing, but I thought it was alright. I also woke up to it every morning my senior year of high school, so I'd always go to class with the intro song stuck in my head~ >w>;

I totally agree. Im sorry to Bo Bo Bo Fans. But I swear I lose brain cells when I try to watch it. I don't mean to upset any body but yeah! Can some one explain to me why he fights with his nose hairs please cuz I'd love to know!

Serita: Haha, there is no specific reason, that's the point. It's just supposed to be completely absurd! ;P That's kinda what separates fans from haters of the show; people who enjoy it realize that it's meant to be completely ridiculous, while those who don't like it usually try too hard trying to find meaning to it, or just don't enjoy pure random absurdity.

Yeah, a lot of people like these shows for some reason. I don't think I'll ever get it. They give an insultingly simple depiction of war and issues surrounding war, the story's pretty misogynist, and none of the key characters are that interesting. You can tell by the fact that every single one of them pretty much has one defining memory from the past that's repeated over and over throughout the series in case the audience is too stupid to forget, and Gundam SEED Destiny is an elongated sequel that's pretty pointless and unnecessary.

In my opinion.

Or here's a contender: BEYBLADE. You remember this? Fighting with spinning tops! Or something!

"Mostly I find any of the High School animes to be stupid. But the others listed here are some that I also find stupid, with details about my opinions on them too."

Azumanga Daioh (I know it's directed to kids but even then... it's to much drama...)
Love Hina (Girl harem semi.)
Peach Girl (To much drama even if it's a chick anime.)
School Rumble (All I can say to this one is... WHAT?!)

Abenobashi (Confused on the story line.)
Princess Tutu (I'm not sure what to make of it really....)

Queen's Blade: Rurou no Senshi (Only if your into... *BEEP* Stuff)

I never liked Gundam SEED and Gundam SEED Destiny either. I'd prefer GundamWing if I had a choice.
I also dislike any Anime with craziness in it. Like for example Kodocha, Azumanga, Melancholy of Haruhi, etc. They annoy me.
Anime with relationships you think will happen but don't are also annoying to me. Although it's really hard to tell if it'll happen anyway unless it's watched. But still. I'm always so disappointed at those after I do watch them...

I agree with gummybug wholeheartedly... Ever since I watched part of an episode in Anime club (Everyone was telling the person playing it to turn it off BTW) I have thought that Bo(x???) (Don't know how many "bo"s.) is the most stupid anime ever created...

Geez, lots of haters for Azumanga Daioh o3o; I thought that show was hilarious! And I loved Melancholy of Haruhi~ >.>; I agree with Beyblade, though, I never got it... it was like having Pokemon battles but instead of badass creatures, they were spinning tops... like wtf? @[email protected] I never saw the appeal in that. They were overly dramatic about tops. Yu-Gi-Oh was the same, but at least they had cool monsters as well as an amazing Abridged series.

I also somewhat agree on the Naruto one.. >3> I never liked that show, although there are a couple of cool characters. But then again, there's like 29185029592 characters so a couple good ones were bound to happen, I suppose~ ;P too much filler and most of the characters are whiny and angsty because of something that happened during their childhood and they want vengeance for it.

Full metal alchemest. I understand that the one character is a boy who's soul is trapped in a suit of armor, but why is he wearing a loincloth?! what's under there, a pair of brass balls?

Because it's for aesthetic reasons...? Well, Al does kick ass so technically he does have brass, er, steel balls.

First of all, that's ridiculous. Why would a silver suit of armor be built with brass testicles? That makes no sense. Secondly, Yosuke's right, it's most likely for aesthetics. If you're going to question that piece of clothing, you'd have to question any non-necessary piece of clothing in the world of anime. Why do the ninjas in Naruto wear headbands with their village symbol on it? I'm sure it gets hot, can't they just stitch it into their clothes? o.O

Now it's my turn to respectfully disagree. I think Avatar: The Last Airbender is just charming. It's aimed at little kids, so a lot of the humor is obviously kids' humor, but it has more adult humor as well. I also thought the acting was pretty good overall, the stories had an original feel to them, the art style was fun and easy on the eyes...overall a good experience in my opinion. I liked the anti-war themes in there, too.

YamiSora: Ha, that's a good way of looking at it, I suppose~ :3 it's not often that an entire show bugs me, it's usually just one aspect of it, like some of the characters or the art style. I try and get something out of every story, otherwise it's completely a waste of time to just sit and watch something mindlessly. And I also agree with you about Avatar >3> all my friends love it, and always quote it and tell me how much I'd like it if I took the time to watch it, but meh... I can't stand it. It annoys me... >3>;

there are 7 'bo's in the bobo manga, I remember because I gave it a Rythym to match 'shave n a haircut, 2 bits'

I found it stupid as well

but I also can't stand the younger Shojo manga, like Tokyo Mew Mew with its band of Mary-sue characters. Ala Mode, the series following the original Tokyo Mew Mew was even worse.

Peach Girl was shallow as a puddle of dog urine.

Marmalade Boy was far too unrealistic, even for fiction.

Naruto because the fans really oversell it, when it's nothing special.

Bleach was pathetically unoriginal, it was like they took scrap ideas from varying other Shonen Animes from the 90's and glued them together.

Shin Chan....at least that's what I think it's called. The drawing style is hideous and from memory the plot is pretty crude and the main character is a little boy which just makes the whole thing seem extremely wrong.
