Has anyone else watched Haibane Renmei...it's a very short series, 13 episodes. It's the only anime I've ever seen in its entirety.

For those who've never heard of it, it's about a group of angelic like people called Haibane who hatch from cocoons. The Haibane are named after the dreams they have in the cocoons. The series follows a Haibane named Rakka who does't remember her dream.

Haibane have a lot of strange rules, like they aren't allowed to have money or own anything new and they aren't allowed to go near the town walls. They're highly respected and possibly feared and are governed by a body called the Haibane Renmei.

It's really cool but I will warn you...you're going to feel every emotion possible when you watch it!

There's a manga too I think which I haven't read.

I remember this show! I liked it, except I thought it got a bit slow toward the middle.
It really picked up toward the end though, and the ending was sad. ;___;

I'm going to look this up tomorrow - but I have to remember to, and I need to sew a rabbit as a christmas gift.

Just to warn you...you will cry so you might not want to get towards the end when you're sick...just a caution. And yeah sew a cute little rabbit whilst you watch :D

Like I can't give much details of how the anime went but it was sad at the end! I just wished they would've continued it because it was a really good show!

But yes there is a manga, a dairy and another book on it that are sadly only in Japan that they are!
