Oh, you are my soul sister Jessica! The kidnap plot all sounds very amazing. I really think it could end up going somewhere good. Also, the fact that Spring is kidnapped, also brings Winter into it, who is also going crazy because he has just found out that a King is in love with the love of his life... AND, has just had her kidnapped.. Oooh.

I also love where your going with Spring and Summer's mum being close to the Seelie courts. That makes it all the more outrageous that the King has had one of her daughter's kidnapped and is in love with the other one! Even better if she is a changeling, because that means that she is technically related to them!

The idea of war is awesome! Though, how would the two of us play a war involving the whole kingdom? That is the question! And, is Summer and Spring's mother going to be played by one of us, or is she just a side character that we can both control?

Their mother [being a tartish young teen person] went and slept with the King [then prince] and had Summer or Spring, or BOTH and they could be twins but not look like each other, and their mother could have been lying all along and telling them that they are different ages! She sounds like a very tormented, twisted character! Maybe, their father left her because he knew that he couldn't get her pregnant... And then she came home pregnant and he knew she was having an affair! OR. We could go one father and say that she slept with the King, got pregnant, had a baby [Summer/Spring, whichever you want to be eldest] and then went back for more, but he said no because she was married and he thought it was wrong... So she went to his brother and he got her preggo again! Then, the whole Royal Family is scandalous! :O

Ahh!! To much sandel for my mind~ I was just thinking a little bit simpler, like she fell in love with their father and the King, gave the king up for her love of their "father" and when they wanted kids and couldn't get any... she tried everything and went and gave her body up to the Unseelie court (AKA being the King's Mistress for a Moon Cycle) so she could have a child. Then Summer was born and they were happy, but she wanted another baby, so she went for another moon cycle with the King or His bother, depending on what you want.

Like, she would sneak away at night and stuff.

And she finally told her husband, and fell apart a little from it, but he forgave her, but what they didn't realize was that she had eaten fae foods, which bound her to the court. (Rule of Faeries is to NEVER accept their eat and drink, kind of like the Greek mythology with Persephone and Hades and stuff) and so she got really sick a few years later (we could say the king forgot about her for awhile, but wanted her and she couldn't go, she had a family and she refused) and so spring prayed to the faeries & begged them to make her mother better, and the King's brother fell smitten with her because of her innocence or something cheesy like that) and made her mother better, but for a price.

He left a piece of food by the shrine where she played, and she unknowingly ate it. What was she, like 5 or 6? So that's one of the reason's they can take her later, because she ate the fruit.

That's fine, I think we have enough plot ideas to work with now, a basic idea of what we're doing.

What do you think for setting? I was thinking the village where most of this will take place will be mostly surrounded by forest, maybe a creek/river running through, and the river reaching to the ocean/beach (where I want to find Autumn boy at the beginning). I don't know about anything/anyone else.

Some legends say the faeries are nomadic/wanderers. Perhaps we want to play with that idea and have little camps of the courts, and the actual courts be somewhere deep within the woods?

Like, maybe at the begging of the mortals/the mortals coming to this land, they were given a small set of land to occupy and perhaps as the village grew, they went to the faeries and asked for more? Maybe they don't even know about the big picture they live on, just knowing the village itself and nothing more.

Just ideas...

Your idea for setting is great. I've always loved the idea of a town near a little stream where they can play and sit and stuff. It sounds like such a beautiful setting! So, there it should be!!

I also love your idea that the people that occupy the village are unaware that something else exists! Sortof like, they have no idea there is anything beyond the forrest! Love it <3
