Flink doesn't get cramps because of birth control. -nod- It also helps with a few other symptoms of PCO, so meh.

She thinks we need a new subject. Flink is drinking chocolate milk.

I want chocolate milk. But the kids drank all the milk earlier today and my husband is stuck on the over nights at work, so I has no car, and no milk and...someone bring me milk. ;-;

This seems to have moved swiftly from a Christmas Party into A Red Tent Society get-together
(explanatory: The Stranger Gets a Press Release for a Gathering in a Red Tent Honoring Women and Their Menstrual Cycles and Sends Lindy West and Her Womb to Investigate by Lindy West - Features - The Stranger, Seattle's Only Newspaper )
(even more explanatory: I have a major girl crush on the author)

This is instant udon, so I don't have to be cooking-smart to do it. |D
It would be nice if I was, though.. then I would be able to add nice things to it.
I fail at cooking... But I can bake. Do cookies taste nice in udon?

I've never had Japanese mayonnaise, but I've heard good things. I wonder if I could make it, using vegan mayonnaise as a base.

Maybe you could. I don't know what's in it though...

Quote:
Japanese Mayonnaise

1 cup soybean oil (may substitute vegetable or canola oil)*
2 egg yolks**
1 Tbsp. rice vinegar
2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
½ tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. karashi hot mustard, optional
pinch of white sugar, optional
1/2 tsp. ajinomoto, optional
Perhaps if I just went for the vegan mayo in place of the oil and the egg yokes. And vegan sugar where the regular kind is called for.

Biggles is a vegan? o.O

Actually, Rainbows, you don't have to be that good of a cook. Hell, you can cook a steak in the microwave. XD

I'm nearly vegan. I do drink milk and eat milk products. And I try to avoid refined sugar and eggs, but sometimes they sneak in.

Well this was the first year Santa Claus didn't leave anything for me, but surprisingly, I wasn't forgotten by 'Father Christmas' even though I am just a guest here.

The order doth boggle my mind. At 'home', you go to a christmas eve service at church, preferrably a really cool candlelight one. Then santa comes and midnight, you roll out of bed and tear open presents.

Here, there are less christmas eve services but they expect you to go to church in the morning. Apparently you get to open Father Christmas's gifts right away but you have to wait until AFTER LUNCH on Christmas day before attacking the tree presents. That seems really unfair. Plus to go to church you theoretically need to dress up. I'd rather be in my cosy old rags.

My sleep schedule here has been opposite of my host's. For the past five or so hours they've been asleep and I've been wide awake, and then there are times where I go completely comatose... bah @_@
