Introduction

Welcome to the city of Vincent, home of the music and arts. The small town is home to those who atend the Music Academy, best school of the arts. We encourage people to find thier inner song and follow it's story. We also encourage people to participate as much as possible, whether its joining one of the weekly contests, joining a club, or preparing a new event. Everyone will get their own song and some will also get plays and pieces of art, but no more than one of each for everyone. We have monthly elections to figure out who will be on our student council. We hope you enjoy your time here and please make sure you ask the teachers for anything you need help with.

4. Having a song for your character is mandatory for each one
5. There is no limit on how many characters you have but don't make so many that you can't keep control over them

9. Every student must have five core classes, or classes they must take everyday. The six and seventh period can change according to what they choose that day.
10. This is a semi-lit roleplay so please try to have good grammar, ocassional mishaps are permitted but I will try to help if there are too many
11. Please try to have atleast two or three sentences in a post. This is helpful for giving people something to work with. Do: She hugged him with great enthusiam, he had just made her the happiest girl in the world. She was speechless to what had just happened... Don't: She hugged him happily...
12. Please try to leave room for people to enter. I understand private moments but after a while it does get hard to come in when noone leaves space when you're new or have been gone for a while.
13. Please keep it Pg-16 There are younger kids here. I encourage romance and am ok with a little frisky business but if you go too far I will warn you. This is punishable with being banned from the roleplay and if it goes way too far I might have to report, depending on the situation. Please if you must go over PG-16 take to a pm if anything thank you.
14. No smoking... Just Kidding.
15. If you are put on the black list, those with stars are on probation and I will tell you when to come back so don't just leave and please keep up with the roleplay. Those in grey have a warning, I will not tell you why just yet but if you are curious just pm me, I will give you a warning about 3 or more days before I ban you or put you on probation, if you fix it the warning will be taken away, so be sure to keep up with that.
16. READ THE ANNOUNCEMENTS!!! I can't stress enough to you how important they are. You're student body presidents will be posted there before the end of the month and also election time will too. Also if you have an announcement that needs to be put up there (ex. you're starting a band or someone is moving,aka you're leaving) just pm me and I'll post it, but make sure they are reasonable. New teachers and classes, with a description, will be posted there when they come in case you want to add or change a class. There will be regular updates here and they will be posted on the announcements, such as when a new rule is added and you must read it.
17. Follow your songs as closely as possible, this is an important aspect of the roleplay. ((Ex, Check Yes Juliet. This one is used as romeo and juliet so you can't say to your lover, hey how are you is your dad doing good? In front of the father because the song even states that you are unable to be together.))
18. There will be contests every other month. They will be posted in the OOC thread, (Look at first page) and some will include songs, another reason to follow your song as closely as you can. There will also be avatar, song, art, ect. topics for these contests so don't just think it's all about other's songs kk.
19. Please have atleast 3 full paragraphs for your first post and one full paragraph for every other. A full paragraph is atleast 5 sentences long. I understand writer's block but if it happens concistantly I will talk to you. Remember detail detail detail. It can save your life, as long as you don't use way too much.
20. I understand that the rules seem long and overwelming but most of them are one together and they are very simple to follow together so don't feel overwelmed about them and please don't skimp on reading them.
21. When giving me your dramas make sure you tell me your character and if it's not a premade drama give me the list of characters needed to complete it.

Bio: Mili has always gone to the academy ever since she was in kindergarten, but her older sister has also been there since she was in kindergarten. Her sister has always had the spotlight, typically leaving her talented sister on the back burner. This hasn't completely harmed her, she has grown strong and her seclusion from most things is her best feature.

Bio: Roxanne has a twin brother named William. When they were young their parnets divorced and each took one of them. Roxanne's mother took her, and her father took William. Roxanne's father was from England so is there, with her brother. She lived with her mother until she was 8, when her mother died and custody changed to her grandparents. Her grandmother has always been a bit... delusional. Since Roxanne arrived with a short hair cut, her grandmother has always referred to her as a boy. Luckily her grandfather is sane, so she hasn't fallen into er grandmother's delusions, but learned to go along with it so she doesn't make her grandmother upset. When Roxie was 10 her grandfather started enrolling her in musical classes, partially because he wanted her to try a variety of things, and partially because it kept her away from her delusional grandmother, who is too stubborn to go to a nursing home. She did very well with the piano, and moved on to the violin in 2 years. She's learned a variety of other instruments, and has a decent singing voice. Her grandfather decided to enroll her to the Music Academy when she entered when she would of been stating middle school. They moved to Vincent and she's been attending school happily.
Roxanne hasn't thought much of her twin brother, but thinks hes away in England. In reality he, and her father, moved a city over from Vincent. Amazingly her brother looks almost exactly like her.

Other: Roxie is a fan of classical, European folk, jazz, classical rock music, and rock. Growing up primarily around her grandfather has influenced her music, and views, a lot.

Taming of the Shrew - Kathrine The Shrew


Mili awoke the first day of summer, her short mane of hair extra poofy due to the nightmare she had just had. Unsure as to just what it was she dreamed, she traipsed around in her usual early morning trance, brush her hair get dressed put on the little makeup she did use and brush hair again. It had become a usual weekday event, it should be since she had been at the year round school since she even started school. She had found out the day before that she was starting her third reign as student body president, much to her dismay. She knew so many people who had wanted that post since they were in sixth grade and she had her first term at the beginning of her nineth year. The Music Academy was, as stated before, a year round school with holiday breaks for one or two weeks and a few holiday weekends. The new years started each March and every student would move up a grade to the new, and frankly better looking as you moved up, classrooms and dorms. This year the boys and girls were, as usual, seperated in grades six and up while elementary students shared co-ed dorms. The girls were on the left side of the nineth grade dorms, unlike the eighth grade dorms where they were on the right, and she ended up running into a wall when she went to walk unwilling to the cafeteria. Although it was the same choices everyday the food was way better than most schools and even some fast food resteraunts. She picked her usual half a plate of bacon and two pancakes smothered in maple syrup with cherries on top. Most people had by now gotten used to her gluttonous diet and tiny body but most of the newer students stared at the plateful with wonder and confusion. Once she sat down she noticed her sister talking with most of the populars, the older and more known version of Mili was the queen bee. She had flawless skin, perfect silky smooth, bunny soft hair, and beautiful hazel eyes, her beauty rivaled only by Mili's. Noone could deny that Mili was equally or more beautiful than her sister, but this privalige was overseen due to the fact that Mili did her best to stay from being noticed over her older sister.

Once she finished her breakfast she combed through her light brown hair with her fingers and walked off, leaving the new middle and high schoolers to watch her with awe and envy of her naturally flawless looks, of course they would soon leave her alone to become friends with her older sister. She was wearing a plain red shirt and short black skirt with a red plaid jacket and belt with her short hair straightened, a few natural curls showing up along the bangs beneath her black headband. Her colour changing hazel eyes seemed to change from icey blue to forest green as she left the presence of the sister she so loathed. It was no secret that she had a strong personality, meaning that any boy who tried to break her would end up in some obscure place relying on only her to let them out before they were put in too much trouble. The teachers even knew of what she did to the poor unsuspecting souls and still praised her for defending herself from the boys. She had all A's and a perfect record for infractions and never missed a day of school without the best excuse possible to have, meaning only when she was sick.

This month had no classes due to a shortage of teachers but she still had to go to the classes that everyone had to do mandatorily. This meant a month of just P.E., Student led quior, and study hall. These were the only classes that noone could get out of and even with more than four classes chosen they were needed to be attended, and the teachers expected students to use their time wisely and make their own schedules. Mili had always chosen the most obscure schedules so to keep away from people at once. This meant that she never had a class with someone more than once unless that person made sure to have her schedule. This had never happened yet and Mili had no hopes of seeing it happen.

Twelfth Night ....Viola, otherwise known as Cesario

Roxie woke up that morning early as usual. She rolled over to look at her beeping alarm clock. Its loud, annoying, dream-ending, continuous series of beeps awoke her each morning. She let out a groan as she flicked it to off. She sat up, and yawned. "Why does school have to be so early?" She thought sadly. She got out of her bed and headed to take a shower. Once she was done she returned to her room and got dressed. She chose a well fitted black button up shirt, the row of buttons concealed by a wide, white flap of frilled fabric. It had a smaller version of the Bertha collar, tied in the front with a piece of string into a lose bow, that was mostly black in coloration, with some white in decoration. The shirt was sleeveless. She then put on a black pair of thin, straight-cut slacks. She slipped on a pair on elbow length black gloves, white ankle length socks, and black tenni shoes. She threw her bag over her shoulder and headed out of her dorm. Though her grandparents lived in town she didn't stay with them, mostly so her grandmother wouldn't fuss about her personal life. She was a girl, though her grandmother didn't want to accept that. This influenced her choral placement, dorm room, fashion, and who she went out with, since she was straight. It would only drive her poor old grandmother even crazier.

Roxie headed towards the Cafeteria for breakfast, Once she was there she made herself a plate with a waffle, with syrup lightly poured over, a few sausage links, and toast. She sat down at a table away from the popular crowd, and most of the others. Roxie was rich, her whole family was, but she didn't fit in with the popular crowd, nor did she want to. She had never enjoyed the color pink, fantasizing about princesses and princes, or playing with dolls. She had always preferred to read, play with her brother, while she was still with him, and other boys outside, or play board games. When she was younger she was more wild, and joined with her short haircut was probably why her grandmother thought she was a boy.

Roxie finished her breakfast in peace, then let out a long yawn. She blinked a few times sleepily, "I shouldn't of stayed up so late reading last night." she thought. She rubbed her eyes, then let her hands travel upward to her hair, and comb through it. Her hair was dark brown, and cut short. She had tried long hair once, but it kept getting in the way, so she decided to keep it short. Roxie got up, and had her bag over her shoulder again, and her plate in her hand. She put it in the dish washing rack, and walked out towards the classes. If she got there early enough she'd be able to spend a few minutes reading.
