(o hes a cutie ^.^ Also my girls tend to look cute but...they really kick butt lol)
Lia wandered her room. It was almost time for her to sneak out. In her room she had many things. She had a huge closet full of clothes that was her royal attire closet. She had another closet that was for nothing but her regular clothes as she called them. The royal attire consisted of all dresses with lots of ribbons and knicknacks that made her look all pretty. Her other closet had peasant clothes she had collected. Her parents would never let her out of the palace so she had to sneak out. They were always worried their darling little girl would go missing or get hurt. Parents drove her crazy sometimes. Her room was done over in red. She had red everything. Her bed was red and her walls were red. It was afterall her favorite color. She pefered the colors of the fall. She loved reds and oranges and light browns. She quickly snuck on an outfit she had at her disposal. It was a peasanty looking outfit. It had a small hat that hid her hair and facial features. She had pants which were forbidden to her and a long sleeved shirt. She usually wore this outfit since it was in faded browns when she snuck out of the castle. The rest of her room consisted of tons of bookshelves. One of her favorite things to do was read. She grabbed her bow and arrow and climbed out of her window.
She looked around her quickly seeing no one around. She had judged the time to perfection. The guards who normally stood her were all away on their break. She used the stones that were uneven and climbed down to the ground. She ducked low and looked around her seeing no one to bother her. She immediatly took off at a run. The drawbridge was up. She groaned. Looks like she would be taking a swim. She went to the end of the portcullis and jumped off. It was usually left up when the drawbridge was up because who would wade through deep water to invade right. She swam through the smelly water and made it to the other side. She stood up and smiled. Time to go hunting. She took off at a run through the villiage. It was quiet since it was late at night and everyone was sleeping. She made it to the woods just as the moon rose high into the sky. She dived in among the trees and ferns and looked around for signs of prey.
She noticed a bit of dear tracks and immediatly began trailing them. As she walked she stopped every few steps to listen. She knew there were wolves and other monstrosities out here and they would not hesitate to attack her without reason. She grinned when she noticed a small herd of deer in front of her. She got onto her knees and steadied her bow and arrows. Time for random hunting. When she hunted she always gave her meat to the villiagers. There were poor people in her villiage who could not afford food and she was more than willing to help them. If her parents ever caught her they would be so mad. She did not care because this was worth it.

The dragon walked through the forest with a light step that seemed rather unnatural for a gargantuan beast. Then again, the dragon's form, was also strange, as it shook back indigo coloured tresses from its shoulder. He looked like any other traveller, with sandy breeches, a darkly coloured tunic, and a battered and torn travelling cloak, fastened with a sky blue gem. A grey bandanna was wrapped around his head, intended to keep his long hair out of his face, but it evidently seemed to be failing in its job. At his side hung a longsword, which, from its looks, had once been for ceremonial use, but was now worn and tarnished from use, the precious stones embedded into its hilt hardly recognisable from years of wear, tear and grime.
His pace seemed to indicate he was not going anywhere in a hurry, and indeed, he was not. After all, dragons did not upkeep jobs, for they did not have much need of money, despite their magpie-like hoarding of items of value. All they did was eat enough food to survive, sleep, survey their territory, and protect it. The latter was what got them into such distaste with the humans. Land that was originally theirs for many thousands of years was taken up by the rapidly growing species as they populated it and claimed it their own, forgetting the land's true owner. Thus, the humans liked to kick up a fuss when sometimes, a dragon might raze a few villages to the ground in an attempt to take it back.
However, there were some dragons that did not mind the humans, and Judicael was one of them. After all, the more the humans grew, the more livestock they raised, which meant more easy kills on his part when he was on the lookout for food. However, the one thing he hated was when they cut down the forests, and populated them with new settlements. They destroyed his secondary food supply, after all, their farming animals could only last for so long.
Hearing sounds of movement up ahead, he slowed, before, through the dense gorse, bramble, and foliage, he spied a herd of deer, peacefully grazing, as the sun beamed through the caps in the tree-line above, dappling their coats with sunny spots. Such sun, also allowed the dragon to see the glint of an arrowhead, poking out from the brush. He frowned. Humans...
Judicael strode out strongly into the clearing, with every intention of startling the beasts. This hunter would not get his dinner today. He would not hunt his deer, in his forest. Little did he know this hunter was a female.

Hearing branches creak and snap under the weight of someone walking Lia groaned. Great she thought to herself as the herd of deer took off at a run away from her and to fast for her to even get one shot at them. She stood up and walked into the clearing. "Whoever you are you had better have a good reason for scaring these deer away from here." She looked around for the person who had made the noise.
She saw the man who was the culprit and growled her face taking on the strong form of a frown. "Why did you scare them off? How am I supposed to feed the poor if you decide to barge in here and ruin my chances?" One thing about Lia is she had a strong personality. She was very straightforward and direct about what she wanted. If you made her mad enough then you were just aching for a world of pain. She stared at the man trying to decide who he was. He was no one she had ever seen before. "For that matter what are you doing here. I have never seen you before and I know just about everyone in m...this kingdom." She had caught herself right before she said my. She had to watch that. You could not be to careful who you tell this kind of information to.

When a girl emerged from the brush, Judicael gave a small frown. He did not expect such behaviour from a woman. Even her dress set her apart from the norm. Some sort of social outcast, maybe? Either way, her dress, her actions, and even her behaviour seemed very unladylike. As she demanded to know why he was in the kingdom, he gave a small smirk, although quickly masked it. Silly humans. This was more his land than it was theirs. Not that this female would believe him if he told her so.
"Half of those deer were does, with child. I'd expect even the most..." he looked her up and down, "novice of hunters to know to aim for the older of the herd. Those that make less impact, and moreover, are easy targets."
He folded his arms across his chest, not-so-much in an act of defiance, as an act of contemplation. "I could also ask you, young lady, what you are doing in these woods. After all, it does not seem safe for a young lady to be in the woods on her own, especially armed with a bow such as yours. Besides, such a bow should not be given to a lady, as you will find that with prolonged use, you will have one arm longer than the other. It will ruin your image."

She frowned listening to him. How very rude. What kind of a stranger ruins her hunt and then fusses at her about how she should act. She glared at him and looked at her arms side by side. Nothing seemed strange about them. "How do you even know I am a lady?" She yelled at him hoping he would just leave. Already she did not like him at all and he was really starting to get her very mad. "I do whatever I wish and how do you know which deer I was aiming for? For all you know I was going for an old or sick animal or even the buck. There were two nice bucks in that herd." She was trying to figure out a good excuse for his question of the woods being dangerous for her.
"Did you even think I might enjoy the woods? Perhaps I like being in here? Perhaps its nice to get away from people constantly telling you to dress nicer and act proper and bossing you around like your a toy of theirs." When she yelled this out her hand flew to her mouth. She did not mean to say that. Hopefully he would think she was something less than a princess. Hopefully he would mistake her for something like a courtizan or even a countess.

"Your are female, that makes you a lady in my eyes", the dragon replied, seeming un-phased by her tirade against him. "Such attitude, and such activities do not suit such a pretty face." He smirked, knowing that such an attitude would probably rile this girl more. It was.. rather amusing for him.
"To hit a buck would be even worse", he replied, "you do not know which of them is at the top of the herd. If you took him out, then the whole herd would be impacted."
He then settled down as she explained why she enjoyed the woods. So, she was of a high class. This made her behaviour seem even less conventional. He felt like he needed to teach her a lesson. "If you will not allow me to make a comment upon your behaviour, then the very least I can do is escort you back out of the forest."

Her eyes opened wide when he mentioned escorting her out of the forest. "No I can not go back right now." She had to wait until they let the drawbridge down for the morning rations and she could sneak on a cart and get back in the castle. She can not do anthing until then. It would be at least two more hours before she could go home. "You are not the boss of me and you can not make me do somthing I do not wish to do."
She turned and walked away from him. Her face was slightly red and she was unsure of what to do. She was sure he would not let her get away this easily. She continued to walk at a slow pace thinking about what he had told her. She was pretty he had said. She frowned. She had always been called pretty but she was not used to it from total strangers. Most peasants did not call her pretty until after they got to know her. She may have been spoiled but she did not let it get to her head.

Judicael blinked as she refused. He should really have reacted as such, given how she was already acting to him, her refusal was almost a given. He supposed he should just leave her to go on her merry way, probably kill a rabbit or two, maybe catch up to that herd of deer again. But, for some odd reason, he found her captivating. Impulsively, he wanted to have her. At least... for a little while.
He turned and walked the other way, but she would not be walking the other way for long. He continued on for another ten minutes or so, before he found another clearing, quite large, and devoid of wildlife. That was good. He didn't want to kill anything just yet, anyway. He began to undress, folding his clothes into the hollow of a tree. This was obviously one of his regular spots. He then got on all fours, before a convulsion of pain racked his body. Transforming was not easy. His bones began to click and expand, his skin stretched, before it began to itch, as dark scales protruded forth. His face and vocal chords began to chnage, until he let out a small roar. A few minutes after a human had stood in the clearing, now a large dragon took their place.
He stretched his wings, as he began to lift off. He was coming.

Happy he chose not to follow her she continued to walk a little longer. Finally she found a small lake. She grinned and sat down at the edge of the lake enjoying the cool air on her skin. It felt good to be here. She did so love to sit around and enjoy herself. It made her feel good and happy. As she closed her eyes letting the cool breeze blow through her hair she heard a roar. She frowned. What in this place roars? She had never heard of any creature doing that but the occasional mountain lion. She stood on the rock and looked around for the source of the noise.

Judicael, content in his normal formed, arced and spun in the breeze, gliding over the treetops with a grace that seemed surprising given his great stature. His great wings were unfurled fully to catch the flows and eddies of the wind, his head looking down through the branches. He was looking for something, or rather, someone.
He was going to get her...
He passed across a small clearing with a small lake in it, before he stopped in mid air, heavy wing beats reverberating through the trees, snapping branches through the power of the strokes. He then pulled himself around, heading back to it, and settling on the other side. He let out a small growl as he looked at her across the water.

Lia looked at the source of the noise and her eyes opened wide. Maybe she should have accepted that escort out of the forest. In front of her across the lake sat a giant dragon. She frowned. She had never thought of how to get out of a situation like this. She knew dragons existed but the question was how did one escape a dragon? She sighed and figured that sitting tight may be the best option. If she just sat here he might not be provoked and perhaps he will not attack her. She sat back down on the rock and watched him.
Did dragons even eat girls? She had never even really thought about that. They must eat humans. Why else would there be so much fear of them.

The dragon looked at her and shifted on its haunches. It appeared to be surveying her intently, every now and then soft plumes of smoke rising into the hair from its nostrils. It did not move, or act, just simply watched, as she stared back. She didn't seem to be moving, she didn't seem to be running from his presence. Was she comfortable sitting opposite a dragon? Or was it that she was playing the hunter, waiting for the right moment to strike at him?
He tilted his head slightly as he watched her, wondering what she would do. It was something he had often seen the dogs of humans do, when concentrating intently, a much more friendly animal than the one she looked at now. Would she return the gesture, or shrug it off as a fluke?

Sighing and tired of standing around Lia started to move away from the lake slowly. She wanted to make sure that the dragon did not take her movements as hostile and figured the best way would be to go slow. She did not take her eyes off of the creature just in case it decided to attack. If she saw it attack she might find a way to prevent it. She moved with great agility. She was a rather fast runner. Perhaps running from the dragon might help although she doubted it.

She had started to run. Now, the chase was on. She began to move slowly at first, and this was what attracted the dragon's interest Then she picked up speed, meaning he had no time to lose. He let out a growl, beginning to flap his wings and gain momentum, so that he could lift himself into the air and begin the pursuit before she was able to cover too much ground.
His feet lifting off with a kick, he set off, arcing around the surrounding forest, trying to spot her through the undergrowth, so that he could swoop down and strike when the time was right.

She ducked down through the bushes. As she continued to run she came towards a clearing and sighed. This could not be good. She sighed and ran full speed through the clearing as fast as her legs could move. She kept glancing up at the sky hoping that she was safe from the dragon. She had noticed him take wing and knew he would be after her. Hopefully she would succeed in getting out of this area.

She ran fast, for a human. The time it had taken for himself to alight from the ground, she must have covered a considerable distance, either that, or he was finding it difficult to spot her through the dense undergrowth. It was only when she passed through a small clearing that he was able to pick up her location, as, from his high vantage point in the skies, her began to glide down, almost casually, in the general direction that the girl seemed to be heading in.
Of course, he could have gone, and transformed back. After all, she trusted the young man that also shared this body. But, he would need clothes, and they were stowed a good mile away. By the time he went back, covering the distance on foot in attempt to catch back up would be an inevitable futility.
He began to glide lower, his claws just skimming the treetops. He was gaining...

She paused in her run and took her bow and arrow firing upwards and aiming for the dragons legs. Then she took off a run trying to make it to some nearby shrubs. She was probably ten foot from it when she noticed the large shadow decending closer to her. She did not think she would make it but it was worth a try.

As the arrow shot up, it just glanced his scales, cutting a small gash on his back right leg. It did not pierce, but the blow was enough to make the dragon give a roar of pain and discomfort. He swooped in, now determined to get her, picking her up in his talons like a bird of prey might do to a small mouse, gripping in hard, and not really caring, in his anger and pain, whether the claws slightly dug into her flesh or not.

Just as Lia made a jump to a bush she felt claws on her shoulders ripping her dress and tearing into her skin. She let out a small shriek of terror and pain as she was lifted into the air. She kicked her feet and pulled her arms up over her head the movement causing more pain. "Let me go right now." She shouted at the great beast that grabbed her. He had sharp claws and every movement caused pain to shoot through her body causing her eyes to tear up.

The girl squirmed and writhed in his grasp, which made him grip her all the more tightly for fear she would escape and tumble down into the forest canopy below. She screamed at him to let her go, to which he responded with a low, growling roar. Yes, he could speak in this form. But he did not want to use words. He was angry, and when he was angry, he became just a bit more beastly than usual. The blood dripped from his leg, down his talons, and probably down onto her.
He began to make his way towards his lair, nestled in the cliffs above the forest. It was on a steep incline, which meant she could not get away very quickly, and one wrong footing would send her plummeting to the ground, and most likely kill her,

She continued to kick and hit at him. Her entire body was covered in blood and this bugged her. She shouted and tried to get free. "Let me go you big ugly brute. I promise if you eat me my parents will hunt you for the rest of your days. Then when they kill you they will stuff you and put you on the wall." When he growled at her she sighed and consented to sit quietly. She was sore. Her arms hurt. And she was smelly and dirty and sticky. She felt horrible right now. Worse than she had ever felt before.

Once he reached the cliff-side cave which he called his home, he glided in a few metres, leaving them in a dome shaped cavern. Various tributaries stretched off at either side, some, it seemed, not large enough for the dragon, although he had gone down them in human form.
He gently released his grasp of her, settling in front of the main exit, so she could not dash out of it. He did not speak, or move, hoping it would show her he did not intend to kill.

She fell to her behind in the cave and looked at the dragon with a frown. Well obviously he would not be letting her go. He did not seem inclined to eat her and that worked also. She stared at him. "What do you want from me? I did not mean to provoke or upset you but you need to let me go now."
