Susto continued to play beneath the three other dragons, trying to fly up to them without caring that he was too young to fly. He purely enjoyed the wind beneath his wings, whether it actually be wind, or air moved by his poor attempts to fly. He felt odd jumping up and down like a rabbit or a kangaroo. "I feel like a cotton tailed snack. This is so odd. I don't care. I wanna learn to fly as soon as I can! I wish I could fly already. Stupid juvenile wings." Susto growled. He decided to give his tired legs and wings a rest. Upon doing so he fell asleep almost instantly, which was typical of a hatchling, play vigorously until they ran out of energy to move and fell asleep.

"I have lived the life of a wanderer too long to be able to settle down into a clan. I assure you, while I am here I will abide by all rules, and when I hunt I will hunt for the clan, and with the needs of the clan in mind." He had bowed his head slightly, then lifted it. Looking out this way and then that when Onyx spoke of the forest not being the place it used to be. Yofune-Nushi shook his head just slightly. "No place ever stays the same as it once was. All things change, and some...some even cease to exist."

"I know of such things. My former clan was one of these things that cease to exist. My hatchling and mate were too. Some other dragons even say my sanity was among these, but that is not true. I am most sane. I have just suffered innumerous losses." Nightwing looked embarassed. "I am sorry. I dwell on my past too much at times. Many seasons, happy seasons have passed whilst I have been Eta." She looked at Yofune and Onyx. Then she looked below at the hatchling who was fast asleep, not alone though. She let out a foul screech. "THE INUAI ARE ATTACKING THE CLAN'S ONLY HATCHLING!!!!!"

Yofune was not one to stand and wait when action needed to be taken. Any response or words he might have waited to hear from the Omicron or that he might have said to the Eta were lost as soon as the female screeched out her alarm. It spurred Yofune to action immediatly, as soon as he was aware of the situation. Feathered wings were stretched out and pumped vigorously.

The white dragon soared easily towards the hatchling and the inuai that threatened it. Front feet and claws outstretched to rake down the Inuai in his way, almost effortlessly he slew two Inuai, while his back claws easily and gently curled around the hatchling. His movements were precise, even graceful almost. Yofune's wings beat hard as they brought him and the hatchling he carried up, out of reach of the Inuai's weapons. Most of which easily glanced off his scales anyway.

Mostly it was his wings he was worried about their weapons touching. Arrows from the remaining Inuai soared harmlessly passed him, most fell short as he rose higher. One had just barely missed one of his wings. No doubt the Omicron and Eta would take care of the remaining Inuai and meet him in the sky. He glanced this way and that, looking for a safe enough place to land and let the hatchling down.

Onyx scowled and not a split second after Yofune rose into the sky and swooped down on the Elven invaders, slashing their skin with his horns and claws, he took many of their lives within seconds. He opened his mouth and breathed his dragons fire all around, burning some of the Inuai officers. By the time he'd done this the remaining Inuai had escaped into the forest, hightailing it back to their homes. He took a few heavy breaths before looking up for Yofune. "You may come back down yofune, you did a great task, a warriors heart beats within you."

For a few moments all he could hear was the pounding of his own heart, he had been afraid, but he had not let his fear control his actions. Slowly, almost hesitantly he came down to Onyx. Gently laying the hatchling at the Omicron's feet before he landed. Yofune-Nushi bowed his head at the compliment before he shook it slightly.

"I am more suited to hunting than fighting, but I am more than willing and capable to fight when the need arises." He stretched his wings a moment before they folded against him, the white dragon bowed his head again. "Those that escaped, should we run them down?" Yofune didn't think it a good idea to let survivors escape, but then it wasn't his call to make.

Susto looked innocently at his kidnapper. Inuai. The elf seemed to be familiar. Maybe he was the one who returned him here. No. He wasn't. Maybe he was the one who always visited the nesting grounds looking for dragon eggs. Susto puffed smoke out of his nostrils. He seemed friendly enough but, Susto was always told not to trust the Inuai.

"Susto..." he said looking at his feet the hatchling had wandered off. He looked around thinking he must have not gone far, then Yofune spoke attracting Onyxs attention. "No, i think we should stay here, they are probably to their encampment by now. We don't have enough strength to take on so many of the Elven kind." he said with a sigh. "Our numbers are dwindling." he said and took a quick look around the clansite. It seemed almost empty, except for a few dragons, maybe only a couple dozen....which was not alot.

Susto stared at his kidnapper and snarled. "You don't scare me elf." He said forgetting that it wouldn't understand the language of the dragons. Elves were just stupid creatures that terrrorized dragons, and that struck fear into Susto's young little heart.

The Omicron let out a loud furious roar, alerting the nearby dragons that had been scrounging for food. "Go now, search everywhere. Find the hatchling!" he ordered taking to the skies, he sadly though spotted nothing.
