@allonline;
Confusing thread title, yes?
This is something that CK and myself has been wondering about for a little while, so I thought that today it would get put into practice and we'll see how you guys like it :D
The intention here is to increase gold earning from posting, on the day that the CIs are released. Neat, huh?
The only issue is it has to be done manually so one of the AAs needs to be about at release time to do it. Which is why we've not tried it before! So, I thought blow that, I want to try this out : / So what I'm going to do is increase the amount you earn per character, on the hour (that's 4pm for me) and I'll put it back to normal at 4pm tomorrow.
I will expect lots of feedback, in here, about this, ok? Love it, hate it, and every variable in between, I wanna hear it all!! Starting now :ninja:

I'm just a little bit confused...
The gold you earn per character is increasing for one day only?
and that's going to happen on the first of each month with the CIs if things go well?
how much is it increasing by?

I'm always up for ways to earn more gold. Especially with the 'inflation' that the marketplace has caused in terms of buying CIs and stuff (as opposed to our old manual marketplace; I remember when 2k for a set was 'standard' not 'cheap'!)
After all, we don't want this site to become like a certain other site which shall remain unnamed where nearly all of the 'cool' and desired items are out of reach for the new to casual visitors of the site.
Kudos for trying out a new idea, and hopefully in the future you can come up with a SQL query to make it automatic as opposed to manual. :yes:

On the contrary, I feel many past CIs have become much cheaper and it is only newer sets that are 'inflated.' But CIs aren't, and shouldn't be, restricted in price simply because it seems a good deal for a set. I understand what you're saying, but inflation is good sometimes and 2k for one CI isn't difficult to attain or even remotely expensive, considering this is Menewsha's fourth year in business. =3
But to relate to the thread, I, among many others, always enjoy more gold. ^^;
