"Well," he laughed. "I don't really belong to any of them. I'm kind of an enigma; always moving around wherever the business takes me. I suppose if officially I'm from the central tribe; that's where I'm from originally, anyway."
He grabbed one of the bags and threw it over his shoulder. As he turned to head back in he caught his reflection holding the bag in the windows of the vehicle. Not quite my style, he thought with a smirk.

Seeing John looking at his refection she knew just what he was thinking. “John you look sexy with that bag” she said as a smirk spread across her face. Maddie picked up three bags and threw them on her shoulders. “I think this is it. You aren’t having any trouble with that bag; I could barely load it in my car!”

Maddie's words shocked John. He wasn't used to people just going and saying things like that, even if it was in a joking manner.
"Ah, heh," he chuckled a little bit. "No, the bag's not that bad; I wouldn't want to carry it any length of distance, but I'll manage inside at least. A lot of people just think I'm a pencil pusher but I try to find time whenever possible to get at least a small workout in. To control your powers it's an all out thing: control the mind, control the body, control your spirit, control your element, you know?"
((I'm going to switch to this color for the dialogue I think; it's a little easier on the eyes))

Aideen began to smell the faint scent of smoke and she sprang to her feet. Then she realized it was coming from the other room where the water clan guy had just claimed. Nervously, she walked over to his door and knocked on in softly. The door swung open a little bit and she could see him smoking a cigar. Trying her best to seem casual she leaned against the doorway and looked inside. "You know, fire of any kind can be dangerous around my people," she told him in a cool, collected voice. No one could ever tell when she was nervous. "There are some here that might take advantage of that little ember on the end of your cigar there." She was thinking specifically of Liam but there could be others as well. "I just hope you know that, we all need to be careful for the time being." She hope she wasn't being to forward with him, she just didn't want anything to go wrong, especailly on the first day. All she was trying to say was that it worried her, though she doubt she made it very clear.

Akira could smell smoke from somewhere down the hall. "Could it be a fire?" Of course it had to be a fire person, but she still wanted to check it out. It could be something quite interesting. With her interest piqued, she left her room and walked to the end of the hall where she found a female standing in a doorway. Inside, she noticed one of the water freaks smoking. It's a bummer I can't make that thing flare up. My power only works with weapons.
Then she wondered if anyone else in the house could. Now bummed, Akira turned around and walked away after saying, "You water geeks shouldn't smoke. It's not you."

Aideen barely had time to respond to the girl who was walking away down the hall. She found her to be quite rude. "I suppose we shouldn't drink water or take baths then?" she responded in the same tone, irritated about the term "water geeks". It was going to take a long time before they could all get along, but she was going to push it as much as she could. She sighed and shook her head. "No one seems to understand..." she muttered to herself softly and then looked back into the room, wondering if she should leave this guys alone. "Don't think us all ignorant, I don't think the same way as my other clan members."

Maddie thought John was sweet for helping with her bags. "Chivalry isn’t dead after all." John’s expression looked uncomfortable “Sorry if I embarrassed you.” John then said something that caught her attention.
“Where did you hear control your spirit control your mind?” She remembered her grandmother saying that all the time. “Did grandma train him? No way..." ”Do you know a Hazel Day?” She asked. The look on her face told that she was somewhat puzzled by his words. “Oh Maddie stop being paranoid geesh it might be a very common saying.”

“The woman that used to be on the council?” asked John. “I’ve never personally met her, but I know of her. Why do you ask? As far as the saying goes I didn’t really hear it anywhere in particular. It was kind of the philosophy of Viles Powell, my first tutor, so I guess that’s where I may have picked it up.”
They reached the house and John held the door open, waiting for her to go first.

“Yeah that’s her she’s my grandma. She used to say that very thing and hearing you say it made me think of her." She replied as he opened the door for her. Thank you John very much. Now if I was you I’d go clam my room!”
“Just throw my bags on the ground and I’ll come get them later.” Maddie said taking off up the stairs to find her room. She looked until she found a room that had a huge window that looked out into the garden, below the window sat a window seat. The light that flowed into the room was beautiful Maddie loved waking up with the rising sun. “I’ll be able to smell the roses from here! That seat will make for a wonderful place to write my poetry.
She thought as she threw down one of her bags. The bed was magnificent a pillow top mattress with a black head and foot board. She dug through the bag looking for her lilac sheets and white comforter. While she was putting her sheets she was reminiscing about her grandma. Grandma Hazel was tall with white hair in her later years. Her smile was crooked but it always had been. Her hands were rough with calluses from all of her hard work, out in the fields. After getting her bed made she took out a picture she had taken with her mother before she left earlier that day, placing it on the night stand.
Before she walked down stairs to get the rest of her things when she heard the girl with long hair saying something about not bathing! Maddie came out of her room with a puzzled look on her face.

Maze cut his eyes to the door as he took another puff of his cigar enjoying it. He arched a brow as he heard her and thought about what she said. His eyes cut to the other girl that piped up. He rolled his eyes hearing her commit then grinned as he pulled the cigar from his lips laughing. He stared at her as the cigar became frozen in ice. A wicked grin appeared on his lips as he stared at the girl then shook his head as he laughed again. "I like you." He said meaning it as he rose to his feet. "It was my last one any how. Most people I would tell where to go but after that last commit I see you have some spunk I like that. Maybe this house want be so bad after all." He said as he walked to the garbage can and let the frozen cigar fall into it as he made his way to the door. He open the door fully and stood in the door frame as he held out his hand to her. "I'm Titus and besides having some spunk and great taste in rooms what is your name?" He said as his happy mood was begin to crash harshly as he hard the girl with all the bags again.
"God want you shut up! Who invited the princess?I'll have you on your knees soon enough if you don't learn to shut up! Grow up and put your big girl panties on and accept your choices. One you voice is rather unbecoming and annoying. Two your not that beautiful and not worth having to put up with your demands. Third wake up darling there are no princesses here for you. Pick a room and for all I care stay in it till you learn to shut up and act like a normal human being!" He said as he felt his anger grow. He thought of pleasant thoughts as he looked back to the girl and shook his head. "Sorry maybe this is not a good time for this. It was a pleasure to meet you. Maybe we can get to talk some time when stupid isn't running around this house like a plague." He then turned to shut the door but stopped as he looked back at the girl. "Sorry I am a jerk at times I know. I just don't handle stupid well."
Jade stood in the living room as she noticed she was left along. She followed the other fire user into the kitchen as she looked to where her bags where by the door. She slowly moved about the kitchen as she pulled down plates then silverware. She then pulled down to cups taking her some time for her to find them. She closed her eyes as she placed them out nodding her head to the song that played in her head. She wished she had her brushes so she could paint. She felt like painting at lest then she wouldn't be alone again. She began to dance slightly as she moved to the fridge and pulled out the different drink choices. She walked to the table placing them there as she walked back and grabbed the others doing the same.

"I'm Aideen," she answered with a smile, feeling a bit flattered by what he had said. She listened as he shot insults at the girl with all the bags. Aideen had to admit that she didn't see the need for all those bags and especailly making it such a big deal but she wasn't one to judge and even less say something about it. "It's okay, I understand..." she said softly as she looked back at the others. "We are going to have a lot of trouble getting along, their is going to be a lot of disagreement." Aideen let out a little sigh as she looked down. This was all going to be harder than I thought... "Well, it was nice to meet you Titus, and thanks for the compliments," she said with a bright smile. "I suppose I will leave you alone then, if you want me to," she suggested and then turned to walk away.

“Okay then.” said Maddie as a tear rolled down her cheek. She never thought she was beautiful or a princess but hey if he thought she was then if the shoe fits, she thought. Maddie wiped the tear from her cheek and knocked on the door of whomever it was that had just told her off. She had a few choice words for him.
She balled up her fist and began knocking on the door. Everything she was going to say was running through her mind. Maddie then realized she had no idea what to say this jerk.

Aideen looked at the girl who had come up to Tristen's door. She placed her hand softly on the girl's shoulder as she knocked on Tristan's door. "Perhaps it would be best to ignore him," she suggested gently with a friendly smile. "I'm sure he'll be better once we all get to know one another." She turned the girl and lead her down the hall. Aideen's goal at the moment was to keep this house from being at war with one another, even if it was between people in the same clan. If they couldn't get along then who could? "My name is Aideen, what's yours?" she asked the girl as she lead her back to the guy who helped the girl with her bags.

Things weren't going well already. They had only been in the house for less than an hour and there was already fighting all around, not just between the fire and water elementals. 'Some leader I'm turning out to be,' Liam thought, listening to the faint sounds of arguing upstairs. Therity could see the look of frustration on his face, but decided to her the girl with carrying in more food. "Thanks for helping. I'm Therity, umm, sorry, I didn't catch your name?" she asked the girl.
Liam thought for a few more seconds, then decided to just go with his idea. He had given it more thought than he had most of his ideas. He wanted to sit everyone down and reconfirm their plans. This fighting was going to have to stop. "EVERYONE GET DOWN INTO THE LIVING ROOM! NOW!" his voice boomed through the house. Hopefully everyone would just listen.

“Maddie it’s nice to meet you Aideen. I never meant to come off like a princess it’s just who I am.” Maddie said trying to stop her sniffling. "Now the ugly thing was a stretch I don’t think I have ever heard of an ugly princess.” She said laughing. "So Adieen where are you taking me?"
Maddie looked up at Adieen, “being five foot one certainly does suck!” she thought. “I’m sorry but you are very pretty; you probably hear that a lot though huh."Adieen was very beautiful she was tall slender and she was the nicest person she had met here; well after John.
Living in this house is going to be horrible no one is going to get along, it was very clear to her the moment she walked into the house. She should’ve been just got back into her car and went back home.

Aideen slightly blushed but she was very flattered by the compliment. "Well, thank you," she replied softly with a smile. "Actually, I've only once before been told that. You are cute as well." There was a pause of silence but then Aideen heard the pounding voice of Liam sound through the house. She looked back at Maddie and gave a shrug. "Better see what's up, don't you think?" she asked as she turned to the living room, wondering what Liam wanted to talk to them about.

Maddie was shocked she couldn’t believe Adieen wasn’t a model she was perfect for it. For Adieen to compliment her was just frosting on top of the cake! “Why thank you very much it means a lot coming from someone like you.” She then began to blush realizing how happy her voice sounded Adieen probably thought she was a bit too excited about the compliment. “And yeah we should we don't want Liam to get his panties in a bunch! I mean who put that jerk in charge anyway?”

Arriving late as usual, Asher strolled towards the large iron gates at the head of the manor. Carelessly he adjusted his dark brown backpack over his left shoulder and bettered his right-handed grip on his matching, rolling suitcase behind him. Without slowing down, Asher raised his left palm out in front aimed at the gate opening. A strong, concentrated misted wind begane to blow, opening the iron gate. Asher walked throug, throwinghis hand and fingers through his wavy brown hair, and headed toward the large and exquisite, double, front doors. After a quick knock with no answer, Asher let got of his case with his right and turned the knob to let himself in, he had heard a few people in the house already but just figured that people were busy and didn't hear him.
Entering into the foyer, Asher continued to walk straight into the large living room spotting a few people entering from what seemed to be their rooms upstairs. Deciding that he had made his appearacne at the right time he let go of his suitcase and threw his right hand into the air introduing himself, "'Sup guys, I'm Asher. I'm part of the water clan and come from the Southern Territory, ol' Florida to be exact. Sorry I'm late, have I missed anything exciting yet?" Grinning, Asher waited to see if anyone would even notice him. The house seemed to be in some sort of commotion after Asher had spent a few mintues in there.

Akira wasn't in much of a hurry to get downstairs. Not when she'd have to be in the same room as those Water freaks. Yes, she was supposed to get along with them and show everyone that they can exist together, but she just couldn't stand them. Not yet anyways. It would take time, maybe time they didn't have. She sure as heck wasn't going to be nice the first day.
Upon entering the livingroom, she slouched down on a sofa and waited for their glorious leader to commence with whatever it could be. Thankfully the leader was one of the Fire Clan. There was no way she would have come if it was one of the Water rejects. This better go by quickly. I got things to do.
Setsurou groaned as he descended the steps. If it was something on being nice to one another, he didn't want to hear it. It was too early for such a speech anyways. Of course, they weren't going to be buddies on the first day. Especially if they have lost a family member by the hand of someone on the other side. They just need to wait it out and see where things go. Then maybe have the damn speech. Besides, he had planned to spend most of his time in his room away from everyone. Let them cool down first.
The young man sat down on a plush chair in the corner next to a fake plant. Why should he have to sit beside his sister? It might be good for her if someone else sat there, but then again, all war might break loose. It was a risk he was willing to take...as long as he wasn't part of it.

Jade looked up when the man spoke and was about to tell him her name when he yelled out for everyone to meet. She closed her eyes as she heard him wishing he didn't yell so much. She stayed calm as she finished putting things away and getting cups and plates down. She stayed as far away from the sink as she could knowing some of the water members might find it funny to start playing. After she was done she slide into the living room just blinding in with the background making herself vanish a lest in her own mind. There was no one hear she knew besides Maze though he was water clan and not really a friend. She knew her green and red hair didn't help her hide. She looked over her shoulder as she saw the front door open and slowly inched her way out closing it behind her as she walked to the back of the house. She looked over the yard walking every inch of it till she found a soft place in the earths crust. Her markings glowed as she reached out and threw her hand up as the ground shook slightly. In moments magma shot up from the ground as Jade began to play with it. She formed a large phoenix out of the molting earth as she made a cold and hard base of cooled magma for it to rest on as she sat there with it. "At lest you understand me." She said as she hung her head.

(Since noone has replied in a long time, I will post. I hope it doesnt screw anything up.)
After Maddie walked down stairs, she sudddenly noticed there was more people than she realized. People were still arriving "didn't they know there was a check in time?" Maddie always hated being late she was happy it wasn't her. She sat there waiting for Liam to hurry this little metting up.
