I was thinking about that marinade a lot last night, I kept thinking about tweaking it a bit to make 'Athenian style tofu' and getting all excited. But of course I'll make the recipe as written the first time through, to make sure I understand what it's doing.
*catching up* I get meat cravings!! We've talked about how I started being a vegetarian as a means of sacrifice, I used to reeeeally crave meat. The first month I was at my grandma's ranch and she plans every meal around the meat and she cooks it well. Anybody on this thread know what I mean when I say southern country cooking? There are somethings the veggie world has not managed to imitate yet. Like chicken fried steak. Thankfully, boca burgers cooked by big country cookers taste amazing. ^-^
@Algas Soleado -- I'm really glad you worked through those cravings. I used to visit the South a lot growing up, I have an idea of what you're talking about.
There was some sort of corn chowder I used to serve over couscous, it was really good. I have to figure out how to make that again. But until then, there's the soup version.
