Dislikes: The smell of wet dog, Blood of a liar, anything creepy crawly, spicy things and werewolves.
Personality: Sweet, helpful, energetic, slightly childish, and picky about certain things.
History: She is the young daughter to the vampire lord Herold Von Heidelberg the 5th. She has had the distrust of werewolves drilled into her from birth and finds her new to be husband to be rather annoying and not worth her time. She is only complying because of her fathers orders and the future of her people.

Race: Werewolf
Likes: Fruits, flavored teas, Comity, Chicken, playing Guitar and close combat fighting.
Dislikes: Sweet things, high and mighty people, green apples, Vampires and midnight.
Personality: rather carefree, doesn't like to put much effort into things that don't interest him. He can't stand to be told what to do by people he doesn't like.
History: Zander finds this whole effort to join the kingdom of Vampires with the kingdom of werewolves to be pointless and irritating, He doesn't like the idea of his younger brother being forced to marriy a silly blood sucking female. To him the vampire girl is no better than a succubus.
Extra: He absolutely hates wearing shoes or socks, he can't stand having to go through so many shoes and socks whenever he transforms, plus he cant stand to have his feet covered.

------------

"This is ridiculous!" The blond haired blue eyed Vampire child shrieked as she stormed through a pair of large doors into an elegant thorn room. She was still in her night clothing and looked rather perturbed. "I refuse to marry a filthy DOG!"She snarled as she approached two thorn like chairs. Her mother and father sat looking rather surprised at the sudden outburst of their normally calm and sweet daughter.

Zandar sat calmly playing his guitar in his favorite spot, a tree just outside his balcony. Nothing calmed him more than to play any tune that came to mind. At the moment he felt he needed calming, it was such a big hassle to here that his younger brother was going to be wed to a filthy vampire girl. His parents could of picked the ugliest female within the land and he wouldn't have cared but a vampire!? Really!? that was almost asking for trouble!

Name: Djimon Eztli Heidelberg
Age: 578 (Appears 21)
Gender: Male
Race: Vampire
Likes: The blood of species not human. Campfires/fireplaces. Piano. Warm smiles. The stars. Cats.
Dislikes: Senseless violence. Loud noises. The sight of his own blood. Garlic - it's just gross.
Personality: Calm, rational, smart and quick-witted. He's kind, normally very mature, but has some childish tendancies. Generous, open-minded.
History: Despite being raised to look down upon werewolves, among many other races, Djimon harbors no hatred for the species, or any other. He finds every species in their own way remarkable, and is intrigued by them. The peace treaty marriage seems to him a great idea, and he's excited to see it follow through. His dream is complete unity, and the combining of their lands seems a wonderful start.
Extra: Djimon prefers to be called D.J, and often is by friends and family. He loves to learn, and wants to know all he can about as many different species and cultures as physically possible. His room is cluttered with thousands of books.

Name: Theron Faolan Galesbero
Age: 213 (Appears 20)
Gender: Male
Race: Werewolf
Likes: Beautiful men and women. Hunting. Thunderstorms. Snow. Video games. Weapons. Food.
Dislikes: Dishonesty. Vampires, though he appreciates their stunning beauty. Staying in one place for too long. Classical music.
Personality: Cocky, full of himself. Playful, immature. Despite this a good leader. Likes to have fun, and rough-house. Respectable.
History: The prospect of this arranged marriage for the sake of the kingdom of course irritates him - he's no fan of vampires, and mourns the loss of his freedom. He loves to admire those who are beautiful in the worst of ways, and find it disappointing to have to give this up for a blood-sucker. Still, he wants what is best for his clan, and of course all the werewolves. He may not be cheering along to the wedding march, but he's taking it all in oddly mature stride, giving it the chance it deserves.
Extra: He dabbles in corny pick-up lines. They're awful, but will probably make you laugh.

Djimon walked into the room behind his sister, instantly moving to take the seat nearest his parents, watching as his sister seemed to enjoy a rather dramatic meltdown. He wasn't surprised - he knew how she felt about werewolves. It was normal for vampires to see this species as little more than dogs. D.J was simply an exception. Hate wasn't really something he was capable of.

His sister paced continously, and Djimon couldn't help laughing, musing to himself. She's going to wear a hole in the floor and fall right through. Her poor hair if such a thing happened, she'd be fretting for days!

As the girl walked towards her family, the boy got up to stop her, setting a hand lightly, but firm, on her shoulder to halt the movement.

"Jess, you need to calm down. No one is trying to upset you. We all know how you feel about werewolves, but it really is in the kingdoms best interest. A merger could be the beginning of a much brighter world. Won't you try to see it that way?" D.J flashed his sister a cheeky grin.

"Besides, if you keep making faces like that, you'll wrinkle into a lagoon creature." He tapped the top of her nose, nodding matter-of-factly and stepped back to cross his arms over his chest.

"You're a beautiful, mature woman Jessica. You can handle this. It's not as though you're being sent off into the desert, and must survive on dung beetles." Djimon eyed her curiously, narrowing his slightly as he leaned in to kiss the girls cheek.

"Besides, I'll be there to keep you safe. I'm sure there will be no objections to that." The vampire looked over his shoulder to his parents for an affirmative to this thought.

****

Theron had been up for a few hours now, contemplating what he had recently learned of arranges marriages. Of course, he'd expected he would one day wed - possibly even to someone his parents wanted him to - but he never expected it to be to a vampire. Bloodsuckers. The boy hissed at the thought. Such beauty is wasted on such disgusting monters.

The only real problem he had with this change of plans, was the loss of his freedom. He was young, easily in his prime, and wanted to enjoy the "pick of the litter", so to speak, while he could. He was attractive, it was easy to convince likewise attractive people to be with him. Worshipping beauty was natural for him. Giving it up for a vampire princess? Unnatural.

Not wanting to dwell on the thoughts alone, he went searching for his brother. He was easy to find, his guitar one of the easiest sounds to pin point. Even without the instrument, he would have known to find the man there.

"Why so glum?" He murmured as he walked up, easily claiming the spot beside Zandar. Theron's smile was playful and taunting, flashed the mans way.

"You look as though you're the one who's just been told you're to marry a vampire. Isn't that funny, since I actually do." The boy moved to stretch his long legs out, stretching his arms out above his head before sighing, slumping down again.

"Well, if you're going to be depressing, at least play something good." Theron flicked the side of the guitar. "Preferably something more up-beat. I want to rock out." He stuck his tongue out at Zandar playfully.

"Hey, I think I deserve a party. At least I know I'll be marrying a beautiful woman. That's more than we can say for you."

Jess hadent noticed her brother com in after her, she didnt really even notice that he had gone and sat down next to their mother and father, no the raging girl only noticed her brother when he stood up and addressed her about her actions.

"I do understand that it is best for our kingdoms I just don't understand why it has to be ME!" The grl gave a low grawl, she couldnt help it she was angry, when she woke up that night she wasnt expecting to see a bag witha white dress in it along with the gosip from the maids. "Why couldnt you have gotten married to some wolfy mutt!?"She somewhat demanded rather than asked. though everytime she managed to look up angrily at her brother, the grin on his face caused her calm just a little bit.

The girl wrinkled her nose as it was tapped and Dj said something about becoming a lagoon monster. She never liked Lagoons let alone what ever creature that could live in it. "I'll be just fine thank you!" she said a pout appering on her face for a moment as she mimiced her brothers stance. "I'm not upset......I'm frieous!" She added and attempted to keep her gaiz away from her brother. Though she couldnt hold it for long as the idea of looking like a lagoon monster caused the young vampire to squich her cheeks up in an attempt at preventing wrinkels.

Dj went on to compliment her and pose a alternative mode of survival, a desart didn't sound bad, and dung betals she could just sqush. Their were more than just bugs in the desart right? "I would prefer the desart!" The girl muttered and looked away from her brother. She hated when he did this, always calming her down in the only way he can, making fun of her like only he is allowed, and even making her see her wrongs in the way that only he could get away with. Yes She had calmed down but was still rather upset about the sudden spring.

At the mentioning of Dj being by herside to keep her safe Jess all but cried. To hid the emotion she simply plunged herself intoher brothers chest knowing he would wrap his arms around her and comfort her.
"Your an offly mean brother you know that Dj!" She spoke through his chest as she didnt want to look up at him right now. "Making me all happy in a matter of seconds, with your stupid words!" She added a weak slapp to the mans chest showing her displeasur of haveing an emotional turn around!

After a few seconds of leaning on her brother, however, Jess thought it nessicary to finish her case to her parents. "I just dont understand why ME!"She stated as she peered around her brother to glair at her foather mostly. "I know full well that I had at least 20 well kempt vampitre men who, I'm sure both of you would approve of after you weekd them down to the last one, I was going to test them myself and then choose one to marrie like you told me to months ago!" She stated still some what using her brother as a shield against any possible blow up from her father. He didnt look as pleased as he usually did in the "morning".

-------------------------------------------

Zandar looked over at his little brother the moment he stepped into his room and came to him. The man only staired at the boy a moment giving him a look that showed he should know why his elder brother was in the mood he was in. He changed the tune he was playing purly on whim and just listened to his brother gabb on and on.

"I'm only playing what I want, if you dont like it go lern to play your own gutar!" Zandar stated as he plucked at the strings and intentionally played a solum and sad song. This put a little smirk on his face as he knew his little brother would have something to say about it.

Zandar couldnt help but heave a sigh as his brother talked about havinhg a party and marring a bewutiful women. their he went again, always about beauty and nothing more. Zandar couldnt help but recall the first young women his brother ever decited to "fall in love" with. She was indeed extreamly beautiful, but she had a very bad personality. A first class bitch if you asked Zandar.

"You know I bet she is the ugliest of her race!" Zandar stated with a smirk. "Why else would the have an arranged marrage for her!?" He added with a toothy grin. zandar couldnt help it, his little brother needed a lesson in admiring beautiful things, expecally vampires! "I suggest that when you get a chance to be alone with her, show your domonance." The man stated and started playing an up beat song. "If you don't you'll probably find yourself hovering over a died up husk of a pup wondering if your dreaming of if your actually dead!" He stated and hit a cord too hard causing it to snap. His face reflected his new irritation at breaking a string rather than imagining his only little brother dead! A sigh escaped him along with a small grawl, he didnt want to get up.

"Theron, go get me my box of strings!" he stated looking over to his brother, "I keep it on my side table!" He stated while pointing in the direction of his room, and directly at the box he wanted on the small table. "I want them, so you go get them!" he added and nudged his brother.

Theron listened to his older brother with utmost amusement. He sure did seem to be in a foul mood, and it made very little sense in his opinion. I mean really, it's not like he has to marry a vampire. He groaned and flopped backward on the ground, laying down to stare up at the sky, stretching his spine as he did so.

"You're mean today, aren't you? You seem bitter. I can't play guitar, all that.. hubalahooha. It just doesn't work." The man reached over to kick his brother in the ribs, though it was only a light playful jab.

The wolf frowned though, much more serious as his brother went on, pushing himself up on his hands to stare at the man with a rather severe expression.

"Do you really think she'll be ugly?" That was far more disappointing than her being a blood sucker any day. He grimaced at the thought, imagining what the worst possible outcome was and actually gagged.

"You're just being cruel now. I'm sure it won't be THAT bad. Father would never set me up with someone he knew were unattractive, because he's not terrible like you." Yes, of course his father would never do such a thing. This instantly calmed him. She would be beautiful, just as he'd imagined. There was no reason for it to be otherwise.

The change of tunes instantly changed his attitude, his ears actually perking up as he continued to sit straight. He groaned at his brothers words though. So overdramatic.

"I'm sure I can handle a little vampire princess, Zandar. Do you really have such little faith in me?"

The guitar string snapping surprised him, and he couldn't resist the urge to flash his brother a smirk. Well perhaps if you weren't so violent with it in your senseless rage.. His expression sobered at the demand though, and he simply raised a silent eyebrow, staring at the man for a long moment as though he'd lost his mind.

"Damn you're bossy tonight. Go get it yourself, oh mighty king of the jungle. I'm not your slave." Theron nudged right back, a little harder.

***

Djimon listened to his sister rant, with the utmost patience. He tended to try and deal with her emotional breakdowns and childish fits first, because he knew others like their father would never be so calm and rational about it. While his sister was prone to behaving like a child, D.J actually preferred it that way. Better a child than a stone cold killer. Plus, he enjoyed having the ability to play big brother. Of course he had other siblings, but Jessica was his favorite. Honestly, the others he barely knew, and cared not to.

"Because, sweetheart, you're the youngest. It's tradition. Besides, you're the most beautiful anyways, and I'm sure dad would hate to make a bad impression by sending anyone less charming. We're trying to unite lands, not insult our would-be allies." D.J could feel his little sister calming by the second, and only continued to flash her the grins he knew worked so well.

"Jessica, if it had been me, I would have accepted it with grace. You know this as well as I do. I think perhaps you should try to have at least a little of that forementioned grace." The boy leaned in to kiss the girls forhead before stepping back, if only to get a better look at her, trying to judge her emotions. Yes, definitely much more calm now.

He actually laughed out loud, soft and musical at the girls declaration that the desert would be better than marrying a wolf. The mere thought of his sister all alone in a hot, dry desert with only beatles for nutrition and company was enough to keep him laughing for a whole minute, tears actually gathered in the corners of his eyes once he managed to calm himself.

"I'm sorry Jess, I don't mean to laugh, but you in the desert?" He snickered again.

Djimon was only mildly surprised when his sister launched herself at him, and he immediately moved to wrap his arms tightly around her small frame, wanting to protect her from any harm that may fall her way. She was strong, he knew this, but she was still his baby sister. No matter what she always would be.

"I'm not trying to be mean," He answered in all seriousness, bending his head to gently kiss her hair as he whispered the words. "I just hate seeing you so unhappy. I know you want to be right now, I understand that, but I still don't like to see it." The boy grinned at the weak slap to his chest, moving to grab her hand to stop it afterward, in the off chance she'd attempt this again.

Djimon was startled and a little put off when his sister continued to complain to their parents, if only because he didn't want to see her anger their father. He was not a patient man, in any meaning of the word.

"Jess." He hissed her name under his breath, a subtle warning, before he spoke out loud again.

"I'm sure father intended to let you choose, before this opportunity arose. Jess, you get to be a part of what will hopefully change our way of life for the better. Jessica Von Heidelberg will be a name people remember for thousands of years, for her strength, bravery and grace. You just need to accept this as fact, and deal with it accordingly."

Zandar didnt take to well at being told to get the guitar strings himself. Le loved his little brother but sometimes the kid just didnt know when to keep his mouth shut and just do as he was told. Well this wasnt really one of those times but he still figuared he needed to teach the younger man a lesson.

Heaving a sigh Zandar set his guitar aside and gave a devlish smirk. "You know I bet your vampire bride is the ugliest of the bunch!" he stated as he leaned forward on his knees to better enjoy the expressions on his brothers face. "I bet father doesn't even know what the vampire brats look like anyways and he just chose one that was close to the same age as you." he stated a wicked smile beginning to form accross his lips. "Shes probably covered in moles, and has a tremendous amount of pimples and zits ready to pop! I bet she has snaggle teeth and cracked lips. Her hair is never washed and is balled up on the nap of her neck!" a small laugh escaped him as he thought of more grotesk things to make this immaginary vampire to look like. "She probably has a huge crookid nose with a war on one side and hair comming from it and her nose, she prbably even has really huge ears and their all hary and grose too. I bet she never cleans them out so their just dripping with 213 years of disgust, oh and dont get me started on the rest of here!" he stated making a face to show he had a big immagination and could go on.

That smile appeard on his face again, the one that showed he was enjoying himself while watching other people suffer. Another laugh escaped him as he sat back and relaxed. He flet much better now he didn't care about his guitar string anymor, torcaering his brother was more fun and but him in a much better mood anyways.

---------------------------------

Jess grawled at her brother when he laughed at her but she couldnt help but for give him. he was her best big brother and he was alwys their for her and knew how to make her smile. It didnt matter that he had a nack for making her angry just as he did for making her happy. She expecally loved getting kissed from him, no matter the kind of kiss or where it was on her head, they always made her warm inside and forced her moodie ness to go away.

Though kisses didn't cange the fact sometime in the future she would be locking lips with a wolf. The very though caused her to feel ill, not to mention she still wanted answers from her father and mother rather than her elder brother. The warning he hissed at her didn't deture her from glaring towards her parents. She didn't even really here what D.J. was saying about people remembering her, at the moment that didn't phase her one bit. She wanted to know exactly what the sudden change in heart was, because it was clear that her father was completly aganst the idea.

"Why all of a sudden!" she asked as she stepped around D.J. and approched her mother and father. "I thought just last month we were pushing the dogs back into their hole!" She stated her head tilting to the right a little as she inquired about why everything as happening. "If we were doing so well then why the sudden need to murge the two kindoms!?" She asked as she watched her fathers raction. She was ready to denfd herself if she needed but she was hoping he wasnt that far yet. At the moment he only staired off behind Jess with a glair that could melt stone. She daird not say the wrong thing to direct that gaze towards her.

Djimon sighed, letting his little sister go, since it seemed nothing he said got through to her. He had no idea what to do now, other than sit back and watch the events unfold. Still, he kept relatively close to her, head bowed in respect to their parents with his hands clasped together infront of him. One of them should at least be showing respect, and as Jessica seemed beyond capability at that moment, D.J had no problem taking over this simple task.

His sister seemed so devastated by the events occuring around her. Of course, she was directly involved, and he wished for her sake she hadn't been so directly involved. What he said was true though - it was tradition. It could be no one else.

While she was so deeply affected, everyone else was merely watching from the side lines. Of course he felt bad for his sister, and wanted to comfort her, but he didn't believe the situation was so bad. Werewolves weren't terrible creatures - he was actually fascinated by them, though he'd never tell anyone around there about it. His sister would probably think he was crazy, nevermind his parents.

The merger would be a good thing for everyone, he just hoped they could follow through on it. It wouldn't be easy if their princess was fighting it the entire way.

There was no longer any sense in trying to intervene, so the boy simply remained quiet, allowing their parents to speak, to answer their daughters questions however they so wished.

***

Theron stared at his brother wide eyed for the entirety of his long rant. The image he painted in his head was foul, and actually made him sick. He looked as though he might throw up at any given moment, actually gagging at one point. It was the sickest thing Zandar could have done at that moment, his head actually spinning with the imagination.

"You.. you don't really think that do you?" The boy couldn't quite manage to get ahold of himself under that pressure, now actually very worried. If she was as Zandar said, how could he stand to be anywhere near her, let alone marry her? To give up his freedom, all the beautiful men and women of his choice, for that? He gagged again.

In the hopes his brother wouldn't continue, Theron pushed himself to his feet, a little shakey with the ill feeling and walked into the room, to get the guitar strings he'd been asked - no told - to get before. He didn't end up bringing them back though, only sitting down on the bed there, trying to calm down. The box was in his hands, but he'd forgotten completely that he'd meant to return with them.

"I can't do it." He decided suddenly, sharply shaking his head. "I won't."

Jessica waited nervously, she hated the heavy silenc that came after her question. it was soon broken by her mother, she shifted slightly in her seat and began to speak.
"Darling, you shouldnt be worrying aboth why's right now!" She said her head tilting to the side as she spoke, her voice soft and bell like. "I know you are upset, and confused, but please know that we do not do anything to intentionally hurt you!" She added a small sigh escaping her as she reached over and touched her husbinds hand. In responce to this the man straghtened up in his seat and glanced to the woman. "Please, go and get ready for our guests." she stated, this being in a more sturn tone than before. She was telling her child to do something and expected it to be done.

Jessican bowed her head as her mother spoke, she had forgotten her mannors and most of all it seemed she had upset her father even more. the girl shifted in her spot slightly she was still upset and wanted answers but she didnt know wether or not to press the matter. The way her mother held her fathers hadn made jess fell as though she had just been stabbed through the heart.

"Jessica darling," her mother now seemed to coo her words, Jess in responce tenced up but kept her gaze at the floor. The woman heaved a small sigh, she could see her child was distressed. "Jess darling, do not worry or trouble yourself please." She said a soft smile playing on her lips. Jess sucked in a deep breth of air before nodding her head.

"Y-yes mother...." Jess managed to say before turning on her heel and rushing out of the room. Their mother hung her head and griped her husbinds hand tightlyas Jessica rushed out. The man only watched the girl leave as he laced his fingers with his wifs and squeezed her hand for support.
"D.J go after her, she loves you most!" The man finaly spoke, his voice deep and smooth, as it was clear the woman was unable to say anymore to her children.

------------------------------------------------

Zandar gave a small smirk at his brothers reaction, and wordds. To answer the man only gave a small shrugg of his shoulders. "Its possible!" he simply stated and watched as the boy stood up and walked to his room. Odd he wasnt expecting his brother to do this? The kid even seemed a little sick and unstable.

Zandar waited for a long moment, deliberating, thinking, and wondering if he should have not been so rugh with his teasing. looking towards his room the man could see his brother, just sitting their on the bed. Something is wrong! Zandar thought as he quickly pushed himself off the ground and took a few long strides to the room.

Standing in the door way zandar could see his little brother, looking distressed as well as diturmind. "Whats the matter Theron!?" Zandar asked as he crossed over to his brother and took the box from him. "Not getting cold feet already are you!?" He joked hopeing it would get some kind of posative reaction out of the kid

Djimon had remained silent the entire time, only looking up to watch his sister leave. The look on his face clearly screamed that he wanted to follow, to chase after her, to make sure his baby sister was going to be okay. But his maturity held strong, and he turned his attention towards his parents first, wanting to ensure they needed nothing more of him.

"Mother, Father-" He began, but was cut off by the mans sudden words. After how silent he'd been, he was actually surprised he spoke at all. Something about it was nerve-wracking, but he simply bowed his head again in respect.

"Of course, as you wish." With that he gave into the deep, knawing desire to chase her. She wasn't hard to find, and when he reached her, he immediately reached out for her. His long fingers wrapped around her wrist, gently pulling the girl back into his chest, so he could wrap his arms securely around her.

"Jess, are you okay?" D.J kissed the top of her head and proceeded to murmur in what he hoped to be a reassuring tone.

"Everything is going to be okay, even if it doesn't seem like that now. They love you, so they surely believe this is in your - and the kingdoms - best interest. They would never force you into something if they didn't feel it was what was best for you, if they thought it would hurt you. I love you Jess, and I'll be there with you. There's nothing to worry about."

***

Theron looked exhausted suddenly, moving to rest his head in his hands, and sighed.

"Shut up, you cruel.. cruel bastard." he hissed. His head hurt, and while he didn't want to be fighting with his brother, the man had started it. Because of him he was freaking out, and couldn't seem to get a grip on himself. Until now, he hadn't been worried at all. He wasn't excited about marrying a vampire, but wasn't really bothered either.

"You're selfish. Because you're unhappy with this change in events, you want me to be too. Well it worked, are you satisfied? I'm going to end up losing my freedom to a hideous troll of a vampire." While rationally he knew this probably wasn't true, he couldn't quite reassure himself of this.

"Cold feet? Screw that. I'm not doing it, end of discussion. You win."

Zandar was a little taken back by being called a cruel bastard. He found himself taking a small step back from his brother as the younger spoke of him being selfish and unhappy. Being told thses things to his face didnt bother him what did though was that he knew they were right. Theron hit the nale on the head and drove it all the way home. Now what, he pushed his brother too far and all because he himself was more upset than his brother. Damn now what!? Zandar thought angrily. He wasn't mad at his brother, no his brother had every right to feel the way he was, Zandar was angry with himself.

Hereing that Theron flat out refused to go on though sent a wave of dissapoitment mixed with happiness and irritation. He was dissapointed that Theron wasnt going to at least fight a little, like when he first suggested the vampriss was an ugly goat. Happiness came through with the relization that he had wone the little spat with his brother but also that he was now refusing to go along with this rediclous plan, something he should have done from the beginning. But the irritatin was both ways he was irritated with himself for pushing the boy and not knowing when to stop, on the other hand he was irritated that his brother was going to give up so easily!

"Don't give up like a scared little poodel with its fluffy tail between its legs!" Zandar shouted as he punched his brother upside the head. "Your a disgrace to our clan if your going to let a little mental image scare you away from a stupid little blood sucker!" He stated his fist still raised as he spoke. "I hope she is the most beautiful thing in the world now!" he stated now crossing both arms. "That way I can take her from you and rub it in your face, whiney brat!" HE snarled with a slight smirk.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Jess held her breath for as long as she could, she felt so stupid how could she have been so disrepsctfull! How could she have not seen that her parents were just as worried and ancious as she was!? The girl felt like pacing once again, she knew it wouldnt do her any good but it might help her decide if she should go back and appologize or do as she was told.

Before she was even able to start pacing some one grabbed her wrist, pulled her into their chest and held her tightly. IT was Djimon, his soft voice, smooth words and wonderful scent was unmistakable to the girl. She could easly get lost in anything he did for her and that was what she wanted most right now.

Hereing that he was going to be their for her and keep her safe caused everything to flood out. Jess simply had to take a deep breath before tears porred from her eyes, and caused her body to quiver.
"Ive hurt them, I hurt mother and father, its all my falt their in even more pain now!" She whined as she wrapped her arms about the mans waist and held him tightly. her body still quivered with every sob and inhale, she hated herself. She was no longer concirned about the situation, she was now worried about her mother, father, and even the kingdom a little.

Theron was so confused by this change of events that he wasn't sure how to react. He was knocked over by the hit to his head, only holding the spot as he got back up, no idea what just happened. Did Zandar really want him to go through with this? Did he want him to refuse? What DID he want? The man was so infuriating, and the boy was so frusterated. Rather than rationally thinking things through, he reacted reckless, moving to swing at his brother. His first collided smoothly with the mans nose.

"I'm not anything like a poodle, you moody pomeranian!" He shoved the older man before heading toward the door, retreating to his own bedroom. He stopped in the doorway though, turning back to glare at Zandar.

"I don't understand! Okay!? What do you want me to do!? I'm not a mind-reader." The wolf hissed, his ears now flat against his head.

"Do you want me to marry this princess? Do you not want me to? Are you angry because you want her? Please, explain SOMETHING to me!"

***

Djimon held his sister as she cried, always the strong, comforting older brother. He stroked her back and her hair, continuing to whisper and press the occassional kiss to her hair or temple. He didn't bother trying to reason for now, simply letting her get it all out. Only once he was convinced she was mostly rational did he continue to speak, his arms wrapping tight around her frame again.

"They'll be fine, Jess. They understand you're upset, and you haven't done anything to drastically change anything. A tiny fit will hardly alter the face of the kingdom." The boy reached down to grab her chin, lifting her head to meet his gaze.

"I know you hate this, but I think you need to give it a chance. You need to hold your head high, and handle things like the princess you are. There's no time for childish games anymore, and I believe you understand that. Now come."

D.J stepped back to take his sister hands, leading her to her chambers so she could do as she'd been told and get herself ready.

"It's time to make yourself presentable for your future husband. You do want to make a good impression, don't you? Show that wolf was a beautiful and mature woman you are." He kissed his sisters forhead before moving to leave her in peace to dress.

"If it helps at all, I believe in you Jess."

Zandar hadnet expected his brother to lash out quit as violently as he did. In fact he wasnt expecting to nailed in the nose, rather he was expecting a sto to the stomach or maybe the side of the face, something that wasnt as sensative as his nose. The man stumbled back a little, as he was pushed aside, and watched as his brother went to leave.

"What a pain this has become!" Zandar muttered as he listened to his brother complaine. The boy was right he was being confusing, and even zandar was confused by what had happened. In a last ditch effort to make a mence, thr right way, zandar rounded his bed then seated himself. "Come here and ill try and explain" he stated with a small sigh, a hand was held up towards his brother in a form of beconing. The other hand was preoccupied with blood that insisted to drip from his nose.

"Look theron, I find this whole situation irritating, if we had the upper hand I don't just see why father didnt end it." Zandar started to explaine as he dropped his raised hand. "Insted something or someone convinced him and the blood sucker to up and stop fighting. Then they go and agreed on making you and some girl marrie and merg the two species together!" a heavy sigh escaped him, Theron probably already knew this or at least part of it, regardless he had to tell this part inorder to tell the rest. "When I found out about your engagement I will be honest I was ferious, I don't understadn how making you, my only little brother, marrie some blood sucker will fix this endless war!" Zandar stated his hands curling to fists as he still felt rather upset about the whole thing. "I didn't know what your reaction was till today, but I didn't like it, so I was being an ass and trrying to make you be as angry as I am...... guess I succeeded hu?" he asked looking up at his brother for a moment then licked the blood that roold down his lip. "Then I was irritated that you suddenly gave up, you just wernt going to go pick a fight like you should have, you wernt going to go and fight for your right full freedom, and that pissed me off more." the man stated his head hung low as he knew the situation had gotten all too confusing, and he should have just legt emotions out of everything. "I know I'm an ass and desuve every thing you've got! So goahed and tell me I'm an ass, beat me up, but I'm not going to let some little bloodsucking bitch take my baby brothers freedom away without a fight!" he added and heaved another small sigh, though his face showed he was diturmined to start another war just so Theron could at least do as he pleased untill he found what he wanted.

----------------------------------------

Jess dindt have to cry for very long before her tears stopped flowing and all she could manage was sniffels. Her brothers comforting had done the trick, along with his reassuence of things being ok. once she flet a litle better, Jessica, walked berself more eligently to her room intead of dragging her feet as D.J. pulled her along.

"Do you really suppose I can handle a silly little puppy?" Jess asked as she stood in her door way not willing to leave her brother just yet. "I've heard storys from guards, soldigers and our elder brothers, they become vishous beasts at will, and are worse during the full moon, How can I contend with that?" She asked as fear and desperation flooded her body as well as flashed accross her eyes as she thought about what the beasts could do, what they could become.

Djimon stopped in the hallway, just outside of his sisters room, to turn back and listen to her. At least she was being more reasonable now, no longer throwing a childish fit. He smiled at her, only moving to lean against the wall as she spoke.

"Jess.. have you ever seen a werewolf for yourself?" He of course knew the answer without having to ask, but he phrased it like so anyways, and pretended he didn't as he continued, incase he was wrong. Though this was rare, it could always happen.

"Even if you have, have you ever seen one transform, during a full moon or otherwise?" The boy walked back over, pushing off the wall to do so, and leaned in to kiss his sisters forhead one last time.

"If you don't know, do not assume. What others say is often not true, and it's petty to spread gossip. It's naive to believe it. Jessica, I really think you should give the wolves a chance - your future husband especially - before you start pointing fingers. Before you judge them, walk a day in their shoes, that kind of thing. Do you understand?" D.J was sure she did, so he only stepped in to hug her again.

"Get dressed sweetheart, I'll be waiting downstairs. I'll even make you some tea, hopefully that will help calm the last of your nerves." With that, the boy continued down the hall. He paused right before reaching the corner though, tossing a smile over his shoulder.

"And if I may give my opinion, I recommend the blue dress. You always look so stunning in it."

Djimon continued downstairs, heading to the kitchen to prepare cammomile tea for his baby sister, feeling better about where things were headed now. Maybe - just maybe - they'd actually work out, if only she allowed them to.

***

Theron was still very annoyed, but at the offer to explain himself, did walk back over to join his brother. He sat on the far end of the bed, watching his handy work rather amusedly, the blood dripping from his brothers nose. Well he deserved it.

Being oddly mature, the wolf listened to his brother without once interrupting him, hoping to finally get a story he could understand. Of course, it was still hard to follow, but his head didn't hurt quite as much. He groaned inwardly and moved to flop over on the bed, suddenly too lazy to move. It was comfortable here, too. Maybe he'd just kidnap his brothers bed for the night.

"I'm afraid you don't have much of a choice. If this is what father wants, if it's what's best for the clan, I'm going to do it. It's regretful, yes, but I suppose as long as she's beautiful, and not a complete bitch, I'll be fine." Theron looked back up at his brother and offered him a small grin.

"Thank you for looking out for me. Even if you are an ass, you're a good brother. Most days." The boy only rolled over to stare up at the ceiling, folding his arms behind his head.

"Perhaps she'll be better than okay. We'll find out eventually." There were some things he was still uncomfortable about, considering his soon to be wife was a bloodsucker. Something about the process, the thought alone of it, made him ill. How anyone could drink blood was beyond him, and to need it to survive? Talk about nasty.

"Zandar, do you know when I'm to finally meet this mysterious, possibly hideous, but hopefully beautiful, bloodsucking princess?"

Zandar looked over at his brother as he flopped over onto his bed. His brother was right, their was nothing eather of them could do and the can always came first! Heving a sigh the man fallowed his brothers actions and laid down on the bed. The compliment was nice, even the parts that rang true, he was an ass and a terrible brother, but he was better than some of the older siblings, they were all war hungry bastards.

"Eh....I don't know, I'm sure some one somewhere told me to tell you but it was too much of a hassel to remember when I was angry!" Zandar responded to the question asked. It was true he was sure some one told him, he just didnt remember who or the information given. "Anywyas I'm sure it was sometime soon" he added as he wipped blood from his now healing nose, onto his brother. It was the least he could do. "Keep that on and see what happens when we see the vamps!" He said with a smirk, before sitting up and hedding for a door.

"I'm going to shower, dont bother me unless you wanna join me!" He stated a smirk playing on his face to show he was joking.

"Young masters, are you both in here!?" A female voice called from the door to the hall. Zandar turned to look as it slowly creeked open. "Oh thank goodness!" the female breathed as she entered the room her head bowed. "Young masters your father wishes to know if eather of you are ready to leave!" She stated causing Zandar to start laughing.

"Oh so we were leaving tonight.....No I have to shower and pack!" he said laughing a little more to himself as he waved the women off and enterd his bathroom.

----------------------------------------

Jess shook her head at her borthers question, she hadent seen a werewolf, never seen one change and navere seen one change during the full moon. But D.J. was right, she couldnt listen to what others said about them or make up her own stories. She flet a little better now, knowing that D.J. was going to be their for her and that he wouldnt let anything happened caused the girl to heave a heavy sigh and visibly relax. A smile spred accross her face as the man kissed her head before leaving. The smile grew wider and more excited as he told her to were the blue dress.

Jessica darted into her room and quickly stripped down to her undergarments, then pratically hopped into the blue dress her brother suggested she wear. She then slid into the seat that was infront over her large vanaty. It heald everything a girl could ever need. Make up was on her right and was always so neat and orderly, jewls were to her left also neat and orderly! a drawr infront of her was filled with hair ties, ribons and pins. this looked like a toss drawr. Thats exactly what it was, but the order of things didnt matter at the moment Jess needed to make herself look good, and not for her futur husbind, no she would do it for D.J because he was her favoret big brother and the only one who really card about her.

Calling upon some of the survents Jess managed to make herself look sufficantly beautiful. Het hair twisted up with sprays of curls and brades, jewled barrets and clips were intracetly placed in her hair to make it shimmer as well as a touch of blue ribin to tye everything together. To finish everything off was her make up. Eyes being enhanged by both eye shadow and liner as well as a rinestone here and their. Her lips had a light coating of gloss that contained sparkels. a little rughe finished her off making her shine brightly.

"You look wonderfull my lady!" One of the maids stated her hands clasped together to show how excited and happy she was.

"Yes, well im not doing this for the wolf, I bet he wouldent know beautiful if it slapped him in the face!" Jess stated as she slipped on a pair of sliver high heels and stepped for her door.

"But what about your jems My, lady!?" Another women asked as she held out a necklace and set of earrings.

"I want My brother to pick them out, leave those!" Jess stated and hurried out of the room and to where she knew Djimon would be.

D.J was downstairs, preparing tea like he'd told Jessica he would. He took the time to make it just as she liked, nice and sweet. He knew his sister like the back of his hand, and always tried his best to make the princess happy. It was the very least he could do, and gave him a wonderful sense of accomplishment. He knew it was probably conceited in ways, but it made him happy to hear his father say he was her favorite.

Djimon looked up at his sister when he heard her walk in, turning to offer her a smile, the expression only widening as he looked the girl over. She looked stunning of course, and he was pleased to see she'd taken his advice. The blue dress brought out her eyes, and she looked wonderful. Her fiance will certainly be impressed. He'd have to be if he was.

D.J was so proud of her, going from avoiding the whole situation to clearly trying her best to impress. It was a great improvement. He walked over to her, reaching for her small hand to gently twirl her around.

"You look beautiful, sweetheart." He leaned in to kiss her cheek, then went to grab her tea, handing it to her.

"Here, drink this. It'll help sooth and calm you. I think you could use it." Jessica still looked to be a bundle of nerves. He sat her down at the island in the center of the kitchen, taking the seat beside her after grabbing his own cup.

"Everything really is going to be fine. Do you need anything else, Jess? I mean, our company will be here before long."

***

Theron groaned at his brothers answer, rolling his eyes. Of course he wouldn't remember!

"What ARE you good for?" He sighed, only pushing himself up on his hands to look at his brother. This was important information, the least he could do was listen when told.

Theron stared at his brother in disgust when the blood was wiped on him, and actually shuddered at the words.

"Oh you think you're funny, do you?"

The boy said nothing as he watched his brother leave, only rolling his eyes at the mention of joining him, in no way interested at the suggestion. He simply stretched out further, trying to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet alone. No one would interupt him here, because hopefully no one would think to look for him in his brothers room. Of course he wouldn't be so lucky.

He looked up at the door when he heard the yelling, and the door creek open. It wasn't exactly a surprise to see the woman, and he offered her a smile, albeit a slightly irritated one at having their conversation interupted. The wolf groaned out loud at the information, moving to pick up one of the pillows and throw it at Zandar, his aim perfect.

"THAT soon and you didn't remember?" He scoffed, only moving to get up himself.

"Tell my father that we'll be ready soon, and that were terribly sorry to keep him waiting." It was obvious Theron was annoyed at being imposed upon, and his brothers stupidity. It also didn't help that he now didn't have much time to get ready, and no time to mentally prepare himself after the dramatic scarring of their imaginations.

Rather than wait for an answer, he simply brushed past his brother, going to his own quarters to shower and get ready for the encounter. It would be expected he be well groomed, looking his best.

Zandar only caught the pillow as it was flung at him, it wasnt his falt some one tried telling him improtant infromation as he was angrily walking away! They should of just went to his brother personally! Well it didnt matter now because the boy was gone and so was the made.
"And here I thought I could of gotten her to play in the shower with me!" Zandar muttered to himself a little dissapointedly. Heaving a sigh and shrugging the man wnet to get reday.

It didnt take long for Zandar to shower and dress in the nicest cloths he had. What did take him a long time was the issues with packing. He didnt know how long they were going to be at the vampire castle, would a weeks worth of cloths be too much?
"Ohhh Screw this!" he grawled and just loaded all of his cloths into a pile on his bed. he then managed, somehow, to stuff them all into a single duffel bag. "HA, Now I'm prepaired for however long Im going to be stuck their!" he stated as he tossed the bag by his door and went to get his guitar. "Don't worry my love I wouldnt dream of leaving you behind!" he stated as he rubbed the neck of the instrament and kissed it lightly. "Now you go in here with your strings and picks and I'll see you when we get to the bloodsucker hell hole!" he stated as he placed the guitar into its heavy duity looking case.

"Now..... Shoes...... forgot those....." Zandar muttered and went to look for his flipflops that he always wore. "Looking offly banged up.... Better go for the new ones mom got me!" he stated and grabbed the black Flipflops from his closit door. They hadent been used and they fit like a glove. "I love my mommey!" he stated happily as the shoes were the most comfortable things he had ever put on. " And now im ready!" he stated with a small shake of his head and a wag of his tale. Then it was out his door, with all of his things, and to where he knew everyone would be waiting. Once he got their he would deffinatly attack his mother with a big hug and a kiss, of course that would be after he was polite and asked for permition first!

-------------------------------

Jessica had stepped into the kitchen slowly but found herself hurring over to her brother as he came to her. a smile instantly spread accross her face as her brother kissed her cheek. It grew wider when he complimented her and gave her a spin. The girl was feeling better just having her brother around, the tea would help with the butterflies in her stomach but the overall nervousness was dissapering.

Once seated Jess drank her tea. fisrt kaing small sipps then gulping out down, out of habbit of corse. "You could make me another please!" Jess said as a reply to her brother asking if she needed anything. a smile played on her face as she held the empty cup out to the man. As he made her another cup Jess found herself wondering about their guests.

"Brother you don't think the wolfs will be in wolf from do you?" She asked her head tilting to the side and causing some curls to hang and bounce agenst her shoulders. "It would be interesting to see them transform if they were, but then they would be naked and that is just rude and improper!" She added still sounding rather thoughtfull. "Do you suppose they are all harry like woodsmen!?" She asked suddenly sounding and looking horrified!

Theron took a while longer than his brother to get ready for their trip. Part of it was that he wanted to look good for those he was meant to impress, but a great deal of it was also that he simply was in no hurry. They would wait for him - they had no other choice. Theron was not one to rush for anyone. It made sense at least, if he were needed for something important, they would have to wait. He was the star attraction, so to speak, and they could do nothing without him. It wasn't the first time he'd pulled such a scheme - his parents were long since used to it, not that it didn't test their persistant patience.

His shower was long and hot, something he'd really needed for a while now. He didn't step out until it began to cool, and the tips of his fingers were wrinkly. The warm water and steam had been very relaxing, and he was no longer as stressed as he had been before. While he knew his parents - or at least Zander - would be frusterated with him for keeping them waiting, it had been worth it entirely for this. Real relaxation wasn't something Theron usually had the luxury of enjoying.

Still in no hurry, the wolf took his time to really dry off, only even considering getting dressed when there was absolutely no water residue left. With no qualms about being naked, or being seen naked, he lounged around his room in only his birthday suit as he began to pack. His packing was much more efficient than his brothers, and while he had no more of an idea than Zander did about how long they'd be in Vampire territory, he packed his things as though he did. The articles were well chosen, so that under any circumstances he would be prepared, and he felt no need to overstuff his bag. All of his things fit nicely into one, packed with the utmost precision so that he knew exactly where everything was.

Of course everything would come out a mess, but that was the least of his concerns now. With his bag packed - and he'd double checked to ensure he hadn't forgotten anything - Theron now took the time to dress for the evening. While his choices certainly weren't limited, he decided upon one of his favorite outfits. It was lightweight, but visually appealing. Easy to travel in, but he would still look impecable upon arrival. This was important, and he was pleased to have funtioned so well under this pressure. The wolf was still nervous about meeting his would-be bride, but now he could think straight and was proud of himself. He looked sharp as would be expected, but still undeniably werewolf. The full body suit was too classic wolf, the fur only adding to it, for any one of the vampires to not notice.

By the time Theron had brushed out his hair to perfection, gathered his bag and was fully clothed, he was 45 minutes late. Those waiting for him would be more than a little angry now, and the thought actually amused him. His parents were typically well controlled people, and he found it hilarious when one of them blew their top. He snickered at the mere thought, now treading the stairs to meet those gathered in the main hall. As he stepped into the area - once large, but now you'd never be able to tell, as filled with people as it was - all heads turned his way. Theron's grace never faltered, simply holding his head high as he stepped around those who worked in the palace confines, to join his mother and father in the center of the room. Unsurprisingly, Zander was already there too.

"Mother, father." He murmured, voice low, filled with respect as he bowed his head in the appropriate, polite fashion. His parents were fun to pick on, given the right moment, but now was time for seriousness, not childish games. The wolf knew his place, and maintained it well. So much so that everyone was surprised. Theron wasn't the type to handle such pressure, he was the one most prone to foolish behavior. He could feel even more eyes on him now, and he shifted from one foot to the other, other slightly unnerved by the unwavering gaze.

"Son." King Alistair Galesbero reached out to clasp his son's shoulder, the boy only lifting his head to meet the mans gaze then. He had never been more proud of his youngest son, seemingly so mature and focused. It was a different act than the one expected of him. Alistair had expected the child to make light of this situation, to treat it like some hilarious joke, or at the very least to use it for his own vain needs.

That the boy was late was a forgotten factor now, even if their feathers had been ruffled before his entrance to the room.

Queen Serina Galesbero was the next to speak, never truly giving her husband the chance to. Thus was usually the case in their home. The king was little more than a face for the show. He gave the illusion of being the one in charge, but the woman of the house truly was. Everyone close to the family knew this.

"Dear, it is time for you to leave. I wish you well on your trip. I do hope you'll remain on your best behaviour, and show those vampires that us wolves are more than the uncivilized animals they believe us to be." She stepped in to kiss her sons forhead, before turning her attention to her eldest son.

"I expect you to take care of your brother, Zandar. Take care on your journey, I wish you both the best of luck. Your father and I are very proud of both of you."

***

Djimon flashed his sister the most charming of smiles in return to her demand, moving to take her cup without question, and simply returned to the stove. He made her tea in near silence, listening to his sisters childish banter about their guests. Family too, if all went well. Wolves in the family would be such an interesting thing, and he was excited to get to experience it. All things new intrigued him, and to him, wolves were not enemies. Why should he be concerned.

As DJ brought his sister her cup of tea, taking great care in preparing it, he offered her another smile as he tried not to laugh. He set the cup in front of her before moving to take the seat beside her. He considered her questions with the utmost seriousness, although finding them hilarious, also very curious and unsure as to what the answers may be.

"I do not imagine they will show up in wolf form, unless of course they were threatened. Likely they want to make a good impression, and showing up naked would do the opposite. They are royalty after all. I'm sure they'll behave as such." The boy reached out to gently stroke his sisters soft curls, wishing he knew how to truly comfort her. He was doing his best, but there was of course only so much he could do.

"And no, for the record, I do not believe they are all hairy like woodsmen. Such a silly thought, sissy. Why would they be? I'm sure the odd one is, but any man can be that way. No, I'm sure your betrothed is a perfectly normal, and probably very sexy, prince. Who just happens to also be a werwolf." He leaned in at this, moving to kiss his little sisters forhead.

"You need not worry so much. You know everything will turn out just fine. You can feel it, can't you? And as I promised, I'm here for you. I'll be around every moment if you'd like and never leave your side. I'm not going to let you get hurt, so stop making excuses to find werewolves so disurbing." Djimon laughed again at the mere thought alone.

"To imagine, if they were hairy like woodsmen? What a sight that would be!" He chuckled again before turning back to the girl.

"Is there anything else you'd like, your highness? A strawberry danish, perhaps? Fresh out of the oven, as I recall, and looked extra sugary." Of course he knew his sister very well, and didn't wait on her answer before moving to pluck one of them out of the tray on the counter, setting it on a plate and infront of her with napkin.

"You need to relax and just enjoy yourself. So eat up, just don't make a mess of yourself. You look far too gorgeous, and I'm sure it took far too much time to go to all the trouble of dressing you again. Though no one would ever mind doing so."
