I know this has probs been done like a billion and one times but, Who is better L or Light, I personaly prefer Light and i just want to know if anyone else does because all my friends that have ever watched death note, all love L and im just like WHAT!!!?! I think Light it so much better he personality and apparence is so much better, But anyway i just wanted to talk to someone about Death Note seeing as i love it.

So sorry, but I have to agree with your friends on this one. I prefer L over Light, because he seems so much more calm and collected compared to Light, who has his occasional breakdowns and weird maniacal faces and whatnot.

Actually, I liked Light in the beginning of it all, and then I started gravitating towards L. ^^;

I have to disagree that Light's personality is much better. Maybe it was good in the beginning, but he went way overboard and turned insane.

Definitely prefer L over Light. Not that I like L that much...but Light is just worse off in my opinion.
I agree with Quarter_Queen; Light may have started out okay, but after he got the Death Note he just went "STAND AGAINST ME AND DIE RAWR". :/

Well To be honest I think thats the reason why I love Light. Because I think the best character out of the manga/anime is the weird crazy guy at the end who Light gives his death note to.

Light was a fascist prick. L was fluffy.

Ugh, Why are america doing a remake... they really should just leave it alone, i mean if you want to watch the live action death note is it really that hard to read ?

Well I find that hard to believe because I think Light looks amazing in the Manga/anime and I think Zac Effron looks like a bit of a nob.

Both of them challenging each other made the manga/anime. They were made to be equal, thus making them only truly shine when trying to pull ridiculously complicated plots unto each others.

My favorite character from the death note anime is Teru Mikami, the guy Light gives his death note to. :O so bloody amazing, i'd do him ;]

Yep yep. When he first reappeared after the explosion, I was like, "....WTF IS THAT!!?!! O___o" (in a good way) :lol:

Finally, someone else who prefers Light. I don't know what it is about him that attracts me so much. I like L well enough... He was definitely adorable... But Light just wins it for me.
