Bella, it's not pathetic to never have a boyfriend. I actually think it's better to put off dating. I mean you have your whole life so why rush into a relationship that's probably not going to work out anyway? O.o

I'm changing my answer to this question now and saying that yes, I am spending the New Year alone since I just kicked my girlfriend out today for being a whore. I guess some people never change no matter how much you want to think they did change.

After seeing just how much my ex has changed for the worst thanks to his new bird, I'm pretty glad that I will be ending this year alone. I can also say that the person he is now really isn't the person I fell in love with, which makes things a lot easier to deal with.

Also, I agree, it's definitely best to wait for relationships. They never turn out as you'd expect.

Yes I agree, I would never rush into a relationship. Slow and steady wins the race; I want to get to know a guy and become close with him as a boyfriend.
What gets me down is that guys just don't notice me, and I have never really felt an attraction to anyone(well except a few actors hehe) so I don't initiate something that isn't there.
And even though waiting for a very special person is the best way, I also really don't want to be a 40 year old virgin! :XP

After my divorce I determined that I'm going to be one of those single old cat ladies. I am perfectly okay with that. :P After all, cats don't lie, cheat, or steal from you.

All this talk of waiting is kinda depressing me. I mean, yeah, we DO have our whole lives to wait. But my question is don't you have to try out significant others to find out which one is 'The One'?

Maybe it's because I've been married before and just got out of an engagement but I really don't like dating so to speak. I'm just done with the whole relationship thing and really don't see the point in it at this time. So that's part of the reason I say take your time and don't settle young.

Yes you do, but that doesn't mean that there isn't waiting involved. You don't just pull the people you try with out of your imagination. You have to wait until you come across someone you feel attracted to or that approaches you with interest, and then you get to know them.
No matter how you look at it, it's always a process.

Ha. True. :P I had that happen with cats before. If you were to lock a person in your house for life you'd be considered weird but it's okay to do that with a cat. XD

Actually if you locked a person up in your home for life you'd be considered possessive and probably even sick.

im in a relationship, kinda. like i never see him because he wont tell his parents that he has a girlfriend so im just like kinda single... lol.

I am involved with a guy at the moment but this year I will be spending it pretty much single this year, just like every other year. We used to do everything together but a couple of weeks ago we decided not to settle down in a relationship with each other and I have seen him only once since then. Tonight he is going to a party with his buds and I am going over to my friend's house to spend the new years with her and her family. I wonder what it is like to kiss the love of your life as the clock strikes midnight...oh well, I will find out one day. Maybe I can fix my relationship with him and next year we will get to be together for new years, but you can never really know for sure about the future. Who knows, maybe 2012 will be my year! It doesn't matter if your single, everyone should go out and have fun with your friends anyway!!!

Yet another year goes by that I am single.
I'm not planning to be taken on New Year's for a good long time.
I may be 18 but I don't feel ready for a relationship. And who knows? Maybe I never will.
Doesn't really matter since no one's crushed on me since like 4th grade, haha.

What cats do you have? I've raised 6 and all of them had a habit of stealing my food. :(
