I ended 2011 single too. ıf "cool kids" all around the Web are to be believed, I should be unsexy and miserable. I don't think how unsexy I really am relates to the topic at hand, but I certainly don't feel miserable. Some people just don't see such relationships as neccessary for fullfillment, I guess.
People (particularly teens) place way too much hold on relationships and feel that you need someone else to be happy. That is completely unfounded. Though there are certain times when the company of a significant others would be liked (usually when I'm sick or sad) a lot of the time they just irritate me. xD
Eh...I'm single and I'm actually glad. I had a girlfriend who was having someone else's kid and I was having a hard time dealing with the fact she cheated on me and got pregnant let alone me trying to find ways to support her and a kid. Now I don't have to worry about that and decided that I much rather be single than have to deal with crap like that. I was excited to be a parent but that can wait until I find someone that can keep her pants on.
I also think that one should be happy with themselves before trying to get into any kind of relationship.
What if I want Chocolate Ice Cream with Mint Chocolate Chips and Coconut?
