Kari wondered just how much Uri had been looking in their magic book and how he could remember just glancing at some medals.
'He must have a splendid memory' she thought to herself. She wondered what the medals might do. If it was going to be somthing bad, she really hoped that it went ahead and happened.

"Here!" He said holding the book so she can see. "These medallions are very old and used by master wizards. It looks like they're kind of like magical batteries, giving the wearer a major boost in power. Who ever those wizards were last night I think they're going to be really upset when they realized they dropped these."

Uri quickly pulls the necklace out of his book bag and puts it on and tucks it under his shirt. "Until we find out exactly what's going on it looks like the safest thing to do is wear them but keep them hidden. The necklaces form some kind of protective field around the wearer keeping us safe. But the field can only protect against so much so keeping them hidden so maybe we wont tick off who ever dropped them."
