I loe Calvin and Hobbes! The Boondocks, Get Fuzzy, and Calvin & Hobbes are the only newspaper comics I read. Which means I don't read any in the newspaper now since they're all done (or at least I think Get Fuzzy is, correct me if I'm wrong). I love all of the commentary, one of my favorite strips is the one where Calvin is daydreaming about dinosaurs and his teacher goes "CALVIN wake up, we're learning Geography, do you know what state you are in?" and he says "Denial?" My second favorite is when he's hammering nails into the coffee table and his mom walks in and yells "Calvin, what are you doing?!" and he pauses then says, "Is this a trick question?" My third favorite would be the series about the baby raccoon.

Also, you should check Menewsha's rules first, but I think as long as you post an explanation of fair use explaining that you do not own the copyright and giving credit to the creator, and then explain that it's use is intended for educational purposes or for debate and criticism, it's legal. Some people do this on youtube.

I used to Love Clavin and Hobbes so much! My sibs and I used to say our youngest brother was Calvin when he was younger. lol. Now my cousin's 3 year acts like him at that age hahha! It's too funny. I haven't read that comic in ages though.

Oh wow! I used to love Calvin and Hobbes when I was little, my favorite was Hobbes. When I was little I used to like him because he was a tiger AND a stuffed animal. XD
I can't remember my favorite comic strip though it's been a while
I have a bunch of the books still though!

I wish my childhood was as amazing as his seemed to be!!! I re-read my collection every year and it makes me laugh out loud every time I do...but I think my favorite part of Calvin and Hobbes, even after the mutant snowmen and the meetings of G.R.O.S.S. were the profound philosophic moments Calvin and Hobbes had together. Bill Watterson did a beautiful job of making those moments seem child-like and not forced. I think the strip that sticks out most in my mind is the one where the two of them stumble onto a clear-cut area and Calvin wonders where the forest has gone and where the animals are going to live now. Hobbes finds a sign saying that they have cleared this area to make room for new condominiums and the strip ends with Calvin exclaiming to the construction site: "Animals can't afford condos!!!" That almost made me cry the first time I read it.

My all time favorite comic strip, with Herman and Krazy Kat coming close behind. I loved Calvin and Hobbes -- it was wild, good-natured anarchy. A little boy with no limits to his imagination, a stuffed tiger who had a life of his own, and Susie, the sweet little girl who had to put up with one weird neighbor.

One of my favorite strips (no pun intended) was the one where Calvin and Susie were playing as President of the United States and First Husband. I still laugh out loud when I think of that one...

I don't think it's humanly possible to hate C&H.

I got the huge 2-book collector's edition set. With all the comics in two really big books.

I love them. <3333

Calvin and Hobbes is so amazing in the way that it appealed to both the young and the old. With a child as the main character with children's issues, it is fun and easy to relate to. But it had many occasions of great insight and beautiful imagery.

Such a wonderful comic.
