That's an ugh. :( I would give you mine, but it would be too big and I donated it to my high school a year or two later. :) Now someone else used it and enjoyed it. ^_^;

Have you thought of checking around second hand stores? I know it's not super appealing, but I got my prom dress from Salvation Army. I was in a similar situation to you. No one I could borrow a dress from, and a pretty poor family that couldn't help out.

I got my homecoming dress and prom dress from a consignment shop. And honestly, I think they were the prettiest ones I've ever saw.

Yeah, and there are some non-profits that give away prom dresses. At least in my "area"/tri-county area anyways. You would be able to get one. So check into the non-profits for a prom dress. Sometimes they can even give you shoes and a purse. :)

D: I poofed now I missed stuffs awe but by the sounds of it there is a lot going on

The one I got was okay, but I had a couple of ugly cloth flowers I had to remove from the back. The only problem I had was that mine was just a little big on me. It was really nice looking after the flowers were removed though.

I haven't had the problem with a prom dress yet and well when I got my grade 8 grad dress I was lucky really and I am pretty sure that is the only dress I have

Heh, the only other time I have ever had a formal dress was one I got at Salvation Army that I used to be a prom queen vampire for Halloween when I was...12 or 13.

12th grade was the only school year I had fancy dresses. I'm not too big in fancy dresses. Most seem too... snug.

It was fun. Wore it to the Halloween dress and everything. I have no idea what's happened to it sense then though. >.<

That is still pretty cool though.


I'm also not a very into dresses type of person hence my reason to only having one.

I was for a little while, not so much anymore. It always had to be long dresses though, the kind that reach the floor.
