Tristyn shook his head. "No. Not really. We didn't do anything in class. Plus, the sub wasn't really professional. At all. It was a bit annoying." he told him. He really was glad to have Mr. Grey back. Despite the fact that being around him made him slightly uncomfortable. That was something he figured would pass with time.

Monte nodded very slowly. "I see. Next time I'll be sure to pick the sub and not just go with one the school picks." He looked Tristyn over for a moment. "You look nice today." He said with the smallest of smiles. Other students began to walk in and he took his eyes off of Tristyn, now acting like he was just ignoring him. He certainly didn't want to be caught staring at a student, particularly a male student. That just wasn't considered appropriate. Maybe he'd get a chance to stare some other time. For now he had to be an adult. A professional adult.

Tristyn was relieved when Mr. Grey said he would make sure the next sub was appropriate. He couldn't help but smile slightly at the compliment. Even if it was a bit weird coming from a teacher. That would be much better. As more people filed into the room, he dropped his eyes to his bag and pulled out his books. Maybe now that Monte was back, they could actually learn something.

Monte got ready to teach the class a new lesson for his class. He was pretty happy today, smiling a bit and even giving some time before class ended for the students to talk and whatever. He found his eyes wandering back to Tristyn a few times. He was pretty glad that Tristyn had been glad he was back.

Tristyn took notes on the lesson. This was definitely better than class yesterday. Once Mr. Grey gave them time to talk, he got started on the lesson. But there was part of it that he didn't understand. He knew that he needed to stay after today to get some help. Even if it might be uncomfortable. He would deal with it though.

Monte let the students continue to talk until the bell rang, signaling that they could go to their next class. He told them all good bye, a bit cheerily, and then waited for them to leave, all of them filing out at once. He glanced at Tristyn. "So, Urm...are you maybe, staying after school?" He questioned, trying not to sound to weird or awkward, but failing.

Tristyn gathered up his stuff when he heard the bell ring. He stood as he heard Mr. Grey speak. "I might stay after today." He told he. He turned and left the room, heading to his next class. He knew that he more likely would stay after for the help. But not for very long. Just long enough to understand the assignment.
