Mene, now is the time to tell the interwebs 5 things that the rest of the community may not know about you. :P
1) I'm better at speaking to adults then people my own age. (I'm 16)
2) I'm part Jewish.
3) I'm pessimistic, despite my "cheerful" attitude.
4) My entire family drive Audi's (except me and my sister)
5) I'm related to the Spanish Royal Family.
Now I know that the 5th one might be a pile of BS to you but it's not. I looked through family records and going back 600 years or so down my family line I hit a member of the Spanish Royal Family.
So Mene, your turn!

1) I am a descendent of Jefferson Davis, the president of the confederacy during the Civil war (I am not proud of this fact)
2) I have an easier time talking to girls than I have talking to other guys
3) I am double jointed, and can turn my feet around a full 180 degrees
4) Cats are naturally drawn to me. I don't know why
5) I am the tallest member of my family (I'm 6'1")

1) I am a descendent of a Pope. A decidedly very bad Pope, since they're not supposed to have descendents :ninja: He wasn't a Pope for very long either, like four years maybe? He was basically corrupt, bought his papacy, and then was kicked out.
2) I am white. A lot of Menewshans have been surprised by this xD
3) Last year I did emergency response to three disasters (two floods and a tornado).
4) Last year I worked in seven different states, and traveled to three others.
5) I've never been fired from a job, but I've held about 13 distinct positions since I entered the work force about six years ago. Every single job I've had (except for my very first one) was contract-based or conditional, where I worked for a certain amount of time and then had to re-apply to it or a similar job (usually my contract was for summer only, like an internship or as a camp counselor, or for one school year at a time, like when I was a Resident Assistant). Three of those jobs alone were from last year, where I applied to a program and then was promoted twice.
I quit my first job to do an internship that paid better per hour and, at the time, was related to my career goals. I haven't quit any other jobs.

Davis never set foot on the battlefield. He did serve as the U.S. secretary of defense (Then known as the secretary of war)

1) My dream car is a yellow Volkswagen Beetle. :')
2) My mum's side of the family traces back into the Vikings that founded my town.
3) I find it easier speaking to guys than I do girls, as they tend to be much less conniving and bitchy.
4) I have a weirdly accurate memory.
5) I have two birth marks, which I call tea stains, that only show up in the sun.

I wanted one of those too for a REALLY long time! Now I'm looking at even tinier cars... but I still wish I had one of those when I was in college.

Yeah, he was a terrible pope xD
Eh, the work itself wasn't particularly fun. Fulfilling? Definitely. But it was absolutely exhausting. Most of the fun was had after-hours with the other people working on the same project I was. For the tornado response, we had about 40 people all living in the same housing and had some really fun events planned out for relaxing, including zombie tag, movie nights, and a volleyball tournament.

We had a zillion disaster response projects last year. The region I worked in responded to two hurricanes, two tornados, and three floods. I think every team (19 total, about 200 people) worked on at least one disaster project. My team responded to four (they did a hurricane response before I joined the team).

Hm...let me see...
1) I only date women.
2) I'm rather quiet and keep to myself in real life. I'm actually pretty anti-social.
3) I'm part German/Native American/French and really pale.
4) I have really bad depression even though I try to act happy
5) People are often surprised by how I look in real life compared to my avatar. I do not fit the "female" gender identity.

I share 1, 2, 4, and 5 with Mystic, actually. Except on some other websites, my characters are males, and people are sometimes surprised when they see how I am in real life. I'm not the most feminine lady around, but I do wear makeup and the occasional dress, so I definitely don't look masculine. Maybe just a little androgynous at times. Anyways.
1) People are sometimes surprised by how nerdy I am because I look a little punk rock-ish.
2) I struggle with an eating disorder.
3) I'm a Slytherin.
4) My favorite animals are elephants, and my favorite fictional creature is the luckdragon.
5) I have two large tattoos.

This thread fascinates me! I truly hope more people post! :)
so lets see.. 5 things about me...
1) I am an optimist and believe in the good of people.
2)I love to bake especially, but just spend any time in the kitchen in general.
3)I have my nursing degree and am a certified massage therapist but choose to work customer service in retail instead.
4)I like boys... a lot.
5)I'm fairly certain that if i went one day without laughing, I would die.
I tried to think of five new things... I also love video games and can surprise people by being a bit of a closet nerd... no.. not closet nerd... I'm not ashamed of it... but people just don't peg me as one right away.

I've been wanting a thread like this for awhile, so how fun. :)
1) I have been a depressive most of my life, and I also have horrible anxiety issues sometimes, but I'm still more optimistic than 90% of the people I've ever met. You'd never guess it.
2) I don't really date because I'm either a lesbian, or hate men so much because of my last relationship, that I'd rather just be single. I dunno which quite yet.
3) When I'm staring off into the distance, I'm not actually "here." I'm seeing a mental video playing in my mind that is either a memory, or a very engrossing thought--usually a memory. This happens a lot.
4) I have a tiny percentage of Native American in my blood, but I'm so pale that I'm borderline translucent, and no one ever believes me when I tell them.
5) I don't have any good friends in real life. I have people, but not friends. No one has been able to gain my trust in years. I am trying to fix that, but I don't think I'll ever be inclined to let a lot of people into my life.
