I love Durarara. The plot is awesome and I actually love most of the characters. Shizuo and Celty will always be my favorites and Izaya is one of the more interesting villains I've seen.
There are a lot of loose ends because the anime is actually based on a series of novels by Ryohgo Narita and as far as I know it's still ongoing. Last I heard, there are nine or ten novels so far and I think the anime only goes up to around the third or fourth one. Hopefully they'll make another season because I heard a lot of interesting stuff that happens later.

Fun note: Ryohgo Narita also wrote Baccano. The anime's for Baccano and Durarara were produced by the same company, too. This is probably why their openings are so similar.

Oh, yeah, the series is a bit hard to get into because it starts out pretty slow. But hang in there! :eager:

I finished watching this a while ago, its ok, but I can't stand the way that it ended. To me it looks like there is a lot more to the story, but they did manage to complete an episode ark so that was nice.

Definitely one of my favorite animes ever!!! My favorite characters would have to be Shinra, Izaya, Erica and Walker. :)

Pfffffffffft. Izaya-kun is the best. *hides siggy* I'm not biased whatsoever. XP
