My mother is Chinese so whenever I cook, (which is around 76% of the time) fusion food is to be served >:D

I'm all for recipe experimentation but when its the first time I make something I kinda make it to the T then muck around the next time. XD
Did the dried strawberry thing work? xD

I try not to get into recipe experimentation, it turns out horrible.
When my mom does it, it turns into one great big hurricane of a mess.

I is pretty amazing *nod nod* however, that doesn't mean that it smells better than takeout... Drove down to my sister's the other day with a bunch of food and the car was smelling.... Not good.

Miro - I haven't had a chance to go pick up some strawberries yet.

Relight - Haha, that's sortof strange. XD Admittedly though, I absolutely hate the smell of sushi rice being cooked...awful awful.

I think it was just because there was a lot of seafood on board. O.o

I love sushi rice! Despite my Asianness (which means rice is served with every meal), I don't really like the taste of plain rice. But sushi rice is heavenlyyyy, all that vinegar and stuff. Although when it's still warm/hot, I understand how it can smell funky.

Ah, raw seafood does smell funny at times. XD

And yeah, I love the stickyness of sushi rice...I just hate the smell so bad(while its cooking). D: The vinegar stinks the place up.

Ughhh I want some so bad! I'm from the north east in the states, so when I moved here to Canada expecting to have the same chinese food...I was sadly mistaken. XD

No lo mein of any kind that I can find....and their rice is mostly white instead of the brownish fried rice I'm used to. D:

I also can't find a good cali roll to save my life.

I've never tried making pizza before. Might have to try it some time.

We're having tacos the evening so I need to remember to go to the store to get the one ingrident that I'm missing to make my taco sauce.

Nice! I recently started making my own seasoning so I could control what went in it. Still tastes just as fab. :D

I know what you mean. I'm so glad that I got my parents out of buying canned veggies. I much rather get frozen veggies and steam or cook them myself.

Hi bbr :)
I have to agree about the lo mein thing. Lo mein is one of my favorites when I get Chinese food.

I'm not always a fan of greasy Americanized Chinese food, but they do lo mein and fried rice much better than the authentic dishes, hands down.
