Bronwen had to stifle another laugh at the way the other was acting. This was definitely entertaining at least, but her question still hadn't been answered. "Do you want to be a man or a woman? Come on, tell me straight out instead of just pouting." Back to her usual manners, the hologram creator opened up another program to go over the details before sending it off to a client. At least that was done and she could concentrate fully on this little glitch. The young woman wasn't admitting it, but she was touched that the hologram hadn't wanted ot disturb her sleep.

". . . It's awkward. . ." For some reason that was all that the hologram could come up with to say. During the hours when Bronwen was sleeping and Allen had been turned into an Alice, she recalled how the dark haired woman had blushed on the first day and how now 'his' emotions seemed to feel . . . corrupted with 'her' new and different ones. "Oh, I need a hug. . ." She said silently to herself.

Taking the words for approval, Bronwen began tapping away at her keyboard again to switch around the codes in Allen's programming so that the hologram was a man once more. She wondered for a moment if the AI was actually feeling differently, but couldn't really tell. Glancing at him, she bit her lower lip. It was so strange feeling relieved that she had Allen back to the way he'd been the day before when she'd first 'met' him. "Better now?" The hint of worry Bronwen felt slipped into her voice despite her fact that she did her best to hide it.

Feeling the sharp electrical surge again, Alice blacked out for a second, but returned instantly as the original design. Sitting back from the girly position, Allen sat with his legs crossed and looked over his hands. The fingers weren't as slender and smooth anymore, and Allen sighed in relief. He looked up at Bronwen with an awkward smile. "Yes, Bronwen. I'm sorry to cause trouble."

Slipping away from the monitors, Bronwen gave Allen a smile as she sat down beside him. "It's no trouble. As long as a virus doesn't get into your files everything will be fine. And even then, I've got a back up being constantly updated with everything you know on a different computer." Her personal computer at that. The set up had been a simple trial to see if such things could work. Already Bronwen had tried it with different programs and taken out some of the kinks so the viruses weren't transferred along with the rest of the data. Well it wasn't quite that simple, but close enough.

(w00t!!! Me new comp is working with me new internets!!! 83333 )

"A virus?" Allen repeated, then smiled at Bronwen when she sat down next to him. "What was it that I did to myself?" He asked, that way in the future he would know to avoid repeating the same accident when he had the urge to go through the files again. Or maybe who knows, maybe something will come up where being a female would be called for.

((That's awesome! ))

Sitting in silence for a few moments simply reveling in the company, Bronwen finally turned her mind to the question at hand. "You must have switched around some coding without realizing it." Shrugging, the young woman glanced at the hologram almost nervously. Now that he was back to looking like himself that dream had popped up into her mind once more. Why in the world had she dreamed about kissing him? Now she couldn't help but wonder what it might feel like, all the while knowing that such a thing was impossible because of what Allen was. "Do you know what love is?" It was something she'd wondered about. Holograms were created, but it was so difficult to explain what love was that programming it into an AI had become a game of sorts. Many of them had skewed ideas of what the emotion was.

"Love?" Allen repeated with uncertainty, he knew what it was by dictionary, but he doubted that was what Bronwen meant for some reason. "It's an emotion," He said after a long pause, not wanting to leave the question unanswered.

Maybe it was impossible to create love. "But can you feel it?" That was what she truly wondered. It was all the fault of that annoying dream! Black hair flaring out she turned around to look at the monitors for a moment before turning her eyes again to the hologram.

Staring at Bronwen for a long while, Allen searched through his files for anything that would resemble love. The closest thing he could find was the confusion of why the woman had blushed before, and the way she had smiled. Eventually he shook his lightly. "I don't know. How can someone tell if they feel love?"

Well this was a doozy of a question. "It's hard to explain. You want that other person to be happy, to succeed in what they do. When you love someone you want them to have a good life." Too much to explain when she wasn't quite sure what to say herself. It was a little funny really, then again it wasn't. Philosophers, scientists ... Everyone tried to explain the feeling, elusive as it was. "It depends on you, a lot of it. Only you can know what love is I guess. It's different for everyone I think." That was the sum of it.

Allen listened intently, recording what she had to say and tried to understand her explaination. Some of what she said made since, but he didn't understand what that had to do with love really. "The other person happy? I want to see you smile. Succeed? . . . . ? When you were working before at the computers when I disturbed you, I won't disturb you again so you can work in peace. Good . . . life?" Allen paused to try and figure that out, which proved to be difficult. After all, he had only been 'awake' for not even twenty-four hours.

It was a difficult concept, one everyone had a hard time understanding. "I shouldn't have asked about something I'm not even sure of." Shrugging, the young woman turned her back upon Allen to begin working on her newest project. The codes flickered across the screen quickly as she tried to come up with the perfect combinations. "And don't worry about disturbing me I like your company." She did, and was glad of it.

Allen shrugged it off, and stood up from the platform on bare feet. Stepping over to the woman, he looked over her shoulder. "Can I ask what you're working on this time?" He asked, remembering how upset she had gotten last time, but she said she wouldn't mind, so maybe it was okay to ask now.

After a few moments she shrugged and swiveled away. "I just need to make a new holographic advertisement for a cosmetics company." Toggling the colors a little, she watched as the anime characters pranced around the screen. They needed to be more realistic. People were getting tired of the same old hat that had been done over and over again for more decades then she cared to think.

Watching the screens as unusual looking persons moved about on the monitors. Visually comparing who the ones on the monitor looked to Bronwen, Allen frowned lightly in confusion. In a matter of seconds he searched through some of the files that he had recordered while Bronwen was asleep and one of them had a scenery of flowers and plants that seemed to match the colors that the woman kept adjusting. "May I suggest something?" He offered hoping it would be okay if he could contribute and offer her help with her work.

A startled yelp escaped Bronwen's lips before she managed to calm down after sending a green eyed glare the hologram's way. "Fine just make it quick." She'd been so engrossed in her work she'd forgotten he even existed. It happened more often then not. Since no one else lived there, or hadn't for a very long time, it had only been a matter of entering into her own little world. Now things were different, even if the young woman's companion was only a hologram.

Flinching slightly and looked down at the woman with alarment, he nodded at her agreeing to make this quick. Pointing at the screen to a young girl's cheeks of the cosmetics that was being displayed, Allen spoke. "Add some more. . . scenic imagery, such as pink carnations or for here, mongolias that should match with the coloring." He said, then lowered his hand away to his side and looked down at the woman to see what she had thought.

Bronwen bit her lower lip in thought as she let her fingers fly across the keys. Within a few moments Allen's suggestion was plastered across the other hologram's cheeks. Though perhaps he hadn't mean for a scene to be playing across the woman's features. Perpetually renewing itself, clouds drifted lazily over a flowering meadow. It wasn't false advertisement, since it was just an advertising gimmick to draw in customers. "Better then I though ..." trailed of Bronwen musingly after turning from her screens to look speculatively at Allen.

As the woman worked, the blond man watched intently as her fingers flew across the keys and created images upon the screen. How the flowers were places upon the very faces of the other's, Allen smiled lightly as his suggestion was used, the Bronwen looked at him. He smiled brightly at her, glad to have assisted her in some way that was useful. The night used collecting data and research did come into use, even if he did accidently corrupt his own coding.

"So what do you want to do now?" She'd finished her coding after a few more minutes and sighed. Bronwen swiveled her chair around to glance at the blond. Her dream came to mind again, causing her to blush and turn away. Except her eyes went to Allan again, making her sigh and rub her forehead. To distract herself, Bronwen tugged at her hair while biting her lower lip. It was just the strangest of dreams, and the weirdest of situations, for her.

Allen gave the woman a confused look when her cheeks had added color to then as they had done before. When he was accidently coded to be a female, he felt he almost understood on why the color was there, but now that he was back to his original visual design, the understanding was almost gone. He watched her tug at her own hair and act strangely. "I don't know what I want to do now." He said, since he didn't really know what he could do. "Are you okay?" He asked a little worried about her stranger behavior.

She nearly stuttered as she answered. "Y-yea, I'm fine. Just a little flustered." By strange thoughts concerning someone who wasn't even truly real. Bronwen should in fact have considered him her son, or at least her brother. She'd created him after all. Yet that, and all else didn't seem to deter her from the virtual man. It was so strange and wrong ...

"Is there anyway I could help you feel a little less flustered?" Allen asked with a light smile, still hoping to be even more useful to the young woman.

(I'm sorry for taking so long to reply and having such a short reply. TnT )
