Tony realizes he likes someone within the team, however, he can't like that person when they're his boss. So because of all this stress on his mind, he barely gets any sleep, and he will snap at anyone who comes near him or try to talk to him at all. That even means his boss, Gibbs, and how will Gibbs take this kind of attitude from someone on his team? Let's find out, shall we?

Chapter 1:

Tony DiNozzo was in a bad mood that morning. He hadn't been able to get some real sleep in almost a week now and on top of it all it was Monday today. It had been the crappiest weekend he'd had in a long time. Everyone kept bugging him over the weekend, Abby wouldn't stop talking about McGee, Ziva wouldn't leave him alone about stupid things, and on top of that he couldn't sleep as much as he wnated to.

"You are late." Ziva hissed from where she was sitting behind her desk. The Italian shot her a dirty look and threw his backpack on the floor, before sitting down heavily in his own chair. "Well she's right, Tony. You're late, again. And Gibbs is only on his first cup of coffee today." McGee told him as Gibbs wasn't there yet and had left to get another cup of coffee. "Bite me!" Tony snapped back catching the other two off guard.

Gibbs had a normal weekend, typical for him. It had been one alone at his home, mostly consisting of working on his boat. He'd come back to work on Monday, more than annoyed to see Tony was going to be late again. He never liked it when his team was late or slacked off. He believed that no matter what was going in a person's personal life, it should not affect their job. He was put for more coffee at the moment, getting a cup of straight black, strong drink. Once he'd paid, he went back to the office, already having a job for them to do.

"Gear up." Gibbs demanded, walking through the office with an air about him that suggested he was more than grumpy. "Dot be late again DiNozzo." He grumbled, noting the tired looking man. He wasn't sure what was going on, but he guessed it might have to do with a girl. He wouldn't tolerate bad behavior.

Tony didn't care what his boss said about not being late again "Why don't you make me" he somewhat mumbled not yet moving, if he had to work today, he was going to be slow about it and take his time. Even though he knew he shouldn't slack off he didn't really care at the moment, the chair felt so comfortable that he just wanted to sleep more and more. McGee looks over not saying nothing while grabbing his gear, Ziva did the same thing, but, stated "You coming or what?" she had a bit of an attitude in her voice. "And I don't think talking like that to our boss is a good idea" she stated.

Gibbs gave a look. "DiNozzo." He warned, glaring. He kept walking, annoyed by this show of rebellion. "You know better than to speak like that." He scolded, drinking his coffee and wondering what was up. Tony wouldn't do a thing like that normally. He'd have to be sure to talk to him later. This all had to change. He demanded that it be changed. He stepped into the elevator, throwing Tim the keys to drive to their crime scene.

Tony got up reluctantly with his stuff and followed them to the car not saying a word, he glanced at his cell while they were in the elevator, and looked to see if he had anything to keep him occupied while on the drive there. Though he knew he should read up about it, but, he wouldn't be able to focus right now on reading when he didn't feel like he cared. McGee took the keys and followed into the elevator then the car.

Ziva wondered what was wrong with Tony and figured she would ask him about it later, maybe on the way back, or when Gibbs wasn't around. Once they got to the site, Ziva had memorized the report about a petty officer found dead in a river bank right next to another petty officer that no one could recognize without an autopsy. Ducky and his student trainee was already there looking at the bodies.

McGee stopped the car parking it and got out of the truck seeing Tony putting his phone away. Tony would have to get back into his work mood if he wanted to get home away from his boss right now. Ziva explained what was going on "An unknown petty officer was found next to another petty officer that has yet to be identified. They were seemingly buried in the ground, but-" Ziva was interrupted by Tony like usual "But, nothing ever stays buried in the ground forever. So we just figure out who they are, why they were here, and wrap this up" he made it sound so simple, he was defiantly going to be arrogant today.
