Hi everyone!

I know it's been nearly a month since I've been on Mene, and I regret that. When I started Project Mene again, I did it with every intention of being here and being attentive, but I don't think I realized just how little free time I have going to school full time as well as maintaining a full time job and trying to have at least a tiny bit of a social life. I just finished working on a big project that was due for one of my classes, had two finals last week, a midterm waiting for me on Wednesday, and two new classes that just started this week and it's nearly 2AM so I'm going to bed soon but I wanted to give you guys an update on what's been going on.

I have the day off tomorrow so I'm going to make time to come on Mene and put up the final challenge and update scores. Also, I'm thinking that maybe it's time that I found a new host. I've loved hosting Project Mene for so many cycles (I think this is like my 9th cycle) and these past few cycles have just been harder and harder for me to keep up with. I want the contest to keep going and doing well and I think that perhaps if someone else took over, they could bring in new life and a new twist to the whole thing. Re-oil the machine if you will.

I will keep you all updated on that soon as I can figure out how to pick a new host. I don't know if I'll do it application style or ask someone to take over. It's kind of up in the air at this point, but that's what the PM mule is for, to make things easier in the future.

There's probably more that I'm forgetting but like I said it's nearly 2AM so I'm going to bed. Hope you're all doing well!

I always thought there would be a time when you would step down seiki. The last two cycles have been hard on you, anyone who's been around enough can see that. I'll be here to support you in any decisions, and also to support the new host if it comes to that. *nods*

gosh im surprised you could maintain a full time job and school full time. let alone anything else. thats impressive. to even attempt this contest on top of all that would be unthinkable for me. i have no idea how you did it so well. i think you deserve a round of applause. or maybe a raise... im not sure... lol.

I realize how hard it is to juggle work and school full time and try to find some free time as well. My mother worked as a teacher as well as a full time student. It's definitely tough and takes a lot of effort. I think you've been quite creative with this cycle of PM, so I'm glad I was able to participate in at least one cycle that you have hosted. I hope it's not too hard to find someone to take over.

Oh man that's going to be me starting in the spring if I get accepted to the Masters Program I'm applying too. The plan is to still work as a teacher and to do this online distance learning music ed masters degree at the same time XD *gonna die*

Updated scores and challenge. Decide because of the time that it took me to update, I would give all the contestants one last shot instead of doing the elimination as planned. This is the final round. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I'm happy every one is getting a chance, but all that wait in between now seems very anti-climactic. lol. I mean winner of this round didn't really get anything for being the winner and there wasn't any consequences for loosing. XD

I don't know what any of those things are other than the Hollywood sign. But they're just a google search away so I honestly don't care which of the themes I get. I feel like I would be approaching any of these places with the same idea anyway. . .

Well not really - the satisfaction of having finally won a round after being the only person to probably have not won one as this point was satisfying enough :D XD

The only reason that I decided to forgo the elimination in the last round was because it was unfair of me to make you all wait so long for the results. I felt I owed it to all of you to have the best competition possible for the last round and I thought it would be more challenging for you all if you had that extra someone to compete against. The odds of winning are lower now, so the urge to do better should be stronger.

I thought it was a fair decision personally

well i certainly appreciate it as i would have been eliminated. lol. but thats selfish of me. Im glad that we all get to have one last go at it though. thats kinda awesome! thank you Seiki!

the new theme is interesting. i would really like to do the Grauman's Chinese Theatre. i dont know if everyone would be ok with me doing that though...

I like the decision - I know after waiting all that time if I had been in last place, I would have wanted another chance.

We need to hear from Kent too about what he wants to do. Because I also wanted the chinese theatre OR the walk of fame. If he wants a different one he could have one of the remaining two, nephy said she didn't care what she got so she could have one of the remaining two...you could have chinese and I could have the walk of fame?

But if Kent wants one of those two and Nephy changes her mind we'd all be fighting over the same one or two places...
