Premises
The Black Plague spread outside as a small Jewish Cabal hold counsel in their candlelit meeting chamber deep underground the city of Prague. This could be the sole chance for them to master death, they say, to understand it and even, maybe, to outgrow it with their studies of the corpses and the world in general. Numbers hold the key to everything in this dark world after all, and surely the key to Godhood laid inside the putrid carcasses in the dirty streets...
Plot
You are one of the cabal that strive for the understanding and mastery of death and beyond, a man or woman with an insatiable thirst for knowledge and power that set out with their fellow to become immortal and, in the process, all powerful. Our story will start in a council meeting of the cabal in order to decide whether or not the risk of the Black Plague is worth the possible gain of immortality and power. The counsel will hold deep into the night and end up with a favourable verdict for the grisly endeavour proposed by one of the cabalists.
There the study begun, first of anatomy and of the disease itself and then of necromancy followed by vampirism to end with blood magic. The process will take decades and the resulting vampire will then take centuries to further develop their crafts as the ones developed in the dark ages will be basic at most and will need polishing.
Setting
We will start in the year of 1448, the year the Black plague began and will work our way as far into modern history as we can providing we are still interested to play. This will take planning and cooperation from all and therefore we will need to be active in the OOC.
