Well, my name is CrossHatch. But I've been called Cross, CrossCross, CrossHatchy, CrossPrime... pretty much all kinds of random names, I don't see what is wrong with the name my inventor gave to me! haha

Red, Mc. ginger (those two are pretty obvious. lol), and Mermaid because I've always had an affinity with mermaids, liked them ever since I was little...that and I jumped off the pier in Seattle when I was really hammered, so my friends decided it was appropriate for mocking purposes. :P
I hate heights, and not knowing stuff, and cold sogginess, and 1something am, and buses. x____x"

I got mine in a strange way but first here they are: Muffin and Cookie. Now here is the story, all my friends and I were sitting around coming up with codenames for each other (We played a lot of military games) and we got to me and we couldn't think of one so we just sat thinking and I started eating a muffin which is how I got the name but I didn't really like it that much so about two weeks later I changed it to cookie which everyone else liked better, Now for KyleDOT.. DOT is actually an acronym but not many people know what it stands for.

Cross: Who knows what people think when coming up for nicknames, c;
Mystic: I like those, they're cute :) and yea some names just come and stick around,
Souless: That sounds quite scary, I would never jump of of anything that was really high x; and I hate nicknaming for mocking purposes.
Spunky3: I like those, is there any reasoning behind them?
KyleDOT: yea not many people know,DOT stands for a lot of things, Like Date of Termination, or Department Of Transportation

People are prone in calling me Stretch considering my seven-foot height and very thin appearance. Around my friends I'm called Wolfie due to sharper-than-average canine teeth, and on here, I'm called Tachi for short. Or various renditions of Tachi depending on the person, I suppose.
I answer to all of them, and appreciate them in their own ways (even Stretch, though it's rather generic).
Ahh, and Slendy from time to time. That's only gotten worse since I went as Slenderman for Halloween last year.

I've never actually had many nicknames; amongst my friends we usually just stick to first names, and occasional shortenings thereof (so pretty boring), but I have had a couple of nicknames over the years. For example, I got two nicknames in the space of a few weeks from one of my friends: Moriarty and Arthur. The former is usually reserved for when I say something that could be interpreted as psychotic or anti-social, or when greeting each other. I call her Sherlock. The latter is reserved for when I do something stupid (which is always), to which I reply by calling her either 'brilliant!' or Douglas. The latter names are from 'Cabin Pressure' (a radio play), by the way.
Apart from that, in the real world I tend to just get first named, except for one of my friends who adds 'pie' after my name when the fancy takes her. Keep in mind, however, that this friend puts 'pie' after everything. Her favourite is 'magpie-pie'.
In regards to my online presence, I'm usually zeapear, Zea, or Zeap. I'll also respond to 'zeabeast' or 'zeamonster', which are actual nicknames and not just shortenings of a username.
... That was unnecessarily long-winded.

XD Well, I guess I already answered this for CrossHatch... but in real life? I've had many nicknames over the years... Vamp, KoRnGiRl, Spyke, ummm lots... but most recently, and much more to my liking, Remyre, cause me and my best friend came up with that one, all the others are just random things people would call me! haha

well it started out with 'sunshine' because i am not a morning person.
i'm not grumpie, per say, just really quiet and keep to myself until i am awake.
this is something my drill instructor fatther did not like, he wanted me up at zero dark thirty, too!
then it was shortened to sunnie because sunshine always got on my nerves, sunnie didn't help much, to be honest.
then it found it's way to 'honey' because i was so sweet*sticks finger down throat*
and finally it's hummy for my love of humming birds.
i prefer hummy of them all and still do not like mornings!

My childhood nickname was Doodle. I'm not sure why. I never liked it much, but I humor the older members of my family who still call me that.
I absolutely hate hate hate when people call me Mik. My name is Mikaela. I'm pretty fond of my name, and I don't like to shorten it.

I don't have one in real life, and I wish I had one. Or pet names from my hubby.
diaveborn gets shortened to diave which I like and diva which I don't but maybe I should start thinking of diva as a nickname? I just would hate to actually be a diva so it sounds so... I dunno, just kinda makes me go all ey

On Mene, Jedi called me Nobi, which I loved!
In real life, my friends name me so many things. Like Dany, Dany-chan, L.G. (for Lady Gaga), Hatsumomo, Drama Llama, and Thor. Once we were watching King Kong and I mentioned I hated monkeys. Biggest mistake ever! They called me Kong for a month!

Some nicknames of mine are Clair (based after the username of this site), Hezza, Girly, Sissy, and Junior. :)
Sissy is what my mum and sisters call me. Hezza and Girly are nicknames my friends call me. Junior was my first nickname, ever, given to me by my father as an infant. ^_^

I think my first one when I was a little kid was Kitty. I was obsessed with cats. (Not so much anymore...) Red, because apparently I'm always blushing and wear a lot of red. Ray, for a shortened form of my first name: Rachel. Also, Rach. I hate Rach, it sounds nasty to me. Ninja, because I'm very quiet and can sneak up on someone when they least expect it, and can leave undetected. It's an involuntary thing. I either get distracted by something, or I'm just walking next to someone. I even scared my friends a few times while we were at the mall or at events, and I was distracted by something and walked away. They thought something had happened to me.

depends on the person.
Among family, I've been called: Shell, Shortie, Short Fry, Bug, and Youngest. the last one is usually my dad, since I'm the youngest of 3 kids.
My boyfriend calls me Kitty.
Then theres a long list of alias' I've made for myself. Codette, Cody, Codettea, Syra and Syrine being the most commonly used.
