"That's okay," Dimitri said, "I can teach you if you want."
"Ah to be young again." Edgar said with a content sigh as he poured more tea for Alexander. "Do you have any other questions young prince?

Alexander thought a moment while drinking his tea. He nodded after a moment. "What kind of tea is this?" He asked as he finished the second cup. "And i would like to learn to dance." He said softly, his own cheeks turning a light pink.

"The tea?" Edgar replied with a big smile, "All it is is some black tea with a little milk and sugar."
"Great! I can teach you before the festival!" Dimitri said with a grin as he blushed.

Alexander smiled lightly and placed the cup down. "I must warn you...i have been told i am an atroucious dancer." The Prince murmured, his cheeks darkening

"Don't worry about it," Dimitri said with a grin, "I'm sure you'll be a quick learner!"
'He's so cute when he blushes.' Dimitri thought, his grin widening a bit.

After they finished talking with Edgar Dimitri lead the way out. The sun was low in the sky as the elves around the village were preparing for the festival.
"Why don't we go to my place so I can teach you to dance?" Dimitri suggested with a smile.

Alexander nodded lightly and fell into step behind Dimitri. He would have been beaten at home, and rather quickly for so blantently staring at Dimitri's rear as they walked. He adverted his gaze, his cheeks turning a bright red.

No one payed any attention to Alexanders staring, even Dimitri was oblivious to it as he turned to talk to him.
"So what kind of dancing do humans do?" He asked curiously as he lead the way through a narrow ally, "I've only seen your people dance once, and it's kind of similar to how we dance. I think we just have a faster beat."

"I...well I suppose it depends on the music, it can be done in pairs only, or as a large group." He said softly, his eyes quickly focusing on Dimitri's face instead. "I took lessons, but the teacher said I was atrocious and refused to teach me." He said softly, his cheeks darkening as he smiled lightly at Dimitri.

"That doesn't sound too different from our dancing." Dimitri said with a smile, "And don't worry, I won't refuse to teach you!"
When they came out of the ally, Dimitri lead the way to a small stone house with a straw roof. There was a small pot with blue flowers growing out of it.
"This is my place." He said with a proud grin as he opened the wooden door for Alexander.
It was a small house with only one room. To the left of the front door was a small kitchen with a pump over the sink and a small stone area that was covered in ashes. Along the same wall was a table with four chairs around it, and then two chairs and a bookcase in the corner. On the opposite side of the room in the corner near the front door was a large fire place. And finally at the other corner of the room was a large pile of hay with four blankets on top of it.

Alexander took it in, he had grown up in a Palace his whole life, large rooms, with larger furniture and tall ceilings. He looked at everything and smiled, turning to face Dimitri. "I like it." He said and grinned, he had never felt much at home in the large rooms, he liked the cozy feeling the small home brought. "This brings up another question...where will I be staying and sleeping?" He asked as he wandered around the room to get a better look at everything.

"I'm glad you like it." Dimitri said with a smile then blushed at his question, "Oh! That's a good question. Since we didn't think you'd cooperate with us they said they were going to fix some place up so you couldn't get out. But since you decided to come with me I don't think they have that set up any more."
He thought for a moment and his blush deepened.
"W-well um, since we don't have anything for you we can share my bed if that's alright with you. I know a pile of hay probably isn't what your used to, but it's a big pile so there's plenty of room and I have extra blankets too!"

Alexander nodded lightly, he had desperatly missed sharing a bed as a child, when he had been younger his second eldest brother hadn't minded when Alexander would come into his room and ask to sleep with him, but as he had gotten older, he had been met with dislike at the idea that he couldn't sleep on his own.
"I don't mind." He said softly and smiled at Dimitri. "S-so...how does this dance work?" He asked softly as he put his pack down next to the pile of hay.

Dimitri smiled, glad to hear the other boy was okay with sharing his bed.
"Oh right!" Dimitri said as a faint blush crossed his cheeks. "Well there rally isn't any specific way we dance at festivals, but our dancing is a lot of jumping, turning, spinning, things like that. The main dancing we do you lock arms with one person like this," He said as he looped an arm around Alexanders arm, "And then you kind of skip around in a half circle, then let go of the one your arms linked with and you link arms with the person on your other side, like this." He said as he switched his other arm to Alexanders opposite side. "Do you wanna try that move first?"

"Sure." Alexander said softly, he wasnt the most graceful, and even managed to trip over his own feet a few times. He had fun while he learned, standing there, spinning and jumping with Dimitri, his pale skin flushing lightly with the exertion.

Once it was time for the Festival to start Alexander followed Dimitri shyly as he took in his surroundings.

Dimitri looked around at all the stand covered with fruits, baked goods, and various other items. The streets were crowded as the elves were laughing and children were running around. music could be heard in the distance over all the chatter. Several elves would wave and say hello as they passed.
"Wow, they've really gone all out for this festival." Dimitri said with a smile, "We must have done better than I thought."
"Oh boys!" a woman called as she waved to them, "Would you like to try some cinnamon apples?"
"Want to try one?" Dimitri asked with a smile.

Alexander looked at the wlman and smiled sweetly before he looked at Dimitri. "Sure, i like apples." Alexander said and grinned as he blushed lightly.

"We'll take two please." Dimitri said with a smile
"Here you two go," She said as she handed them two small cups.
Inside the cups were apple slices that had been baked and sprinkled with cinnamon.
"It's been a long time since I've seen a human," The woman said as she smiled at Alexander, "How do you like it here young man?"

Alexander had taken one of the slices and promptly ate it, he smiled at the lady as he chewed and swallowed. "Not at all what i expected...i had always been told Elves didnt care about humans...a few people told me that you would kill me on sight." He said softly, his cheeks a light pink as he licked his fingers clean. The apple was delicious and he qucikly finished his portion of it.

"Why on earth would some one tell you that?!" The woman asked with a shocked look, "We elves don't hold grudges that long. Granted we don't really hold grudges to begin with, but still."
"I was surprised too," Dimitri said as he ate his own apple slices, "When we first met you said we ignore your kind too."
"Oh my," The woman replied, "Maybe it's time someone talks to the elder about restoring contact with the humans. It sound's like your people really don't have any knowledge about our people anymore."
"Why don't we talk about something else?" Dimitri suggested, "This is a festival after all, we're supposed to be having fun!"
"Oh! Yes you're right, sorry boys." The woman said as she blushed, "Here, have another cinnamon apple!"
She handed them both another cup with apple slices as she smiled.

Alexander took the second offered cup happily eatting the slices and licking his fingers clean. It was certainly a very un-Princely way to eat something, but he didnt care. There was no one here to berate him, a d every one just smiled at him as he enjoyed the food.
"What else do you guys do at this festival other than eat?"

Dimitri blushed when he saw the prince licking his fingers, his mind going some place else. He looked away hoping he didn't notice as he answered, "W-well there's dancing, some games, ummm some times there's a puppet show, and some drinking. Oh, there's some other food booths too if you'd like to see those. Is there anything you want to see first?"

Alexander thought about it for a moment then smiled at Dimitri, "I'll do what ever you do. I'm new here after all." He said and grinned as he finished the apples. They were really good and he liked them alot. He also wondered what else there was to eat, and drink, he had always enjoyed tasting things.

Dimitri thought for a moment as he finished off his apples.
"Why don't we go check out the dancing?" Dimitri suggested, "Then maybe after that we can get something to drink?"

The gem embedded in his throat pulsed a little as his heart thumped against his chest nerously. Dancing in private with someone was all fine and good, he had actually some how managed to step on Dimitri's feet quite alot and he felt he had no rythm what so ever. As he followed the elf he looked around curiously, a drink being pressed gently into his hand at one point. He didn't smell it, or anything, Alexander just shrugged took it. It was only a shot anyways, just barely a mouthful of fluid. It burned on the way down and his eyes widened a little as he could feel a slight flush to his face. The drink felt like liquid fire in his stomach and he placed a hand over his mouth before he burped, his cheeks flushing in emberassment. He looked at Dimitri and smiled, "Well that was warm..." He said softly.
