Hey, I didn't see a forum like this. If there is I apologize for making another. I want to know what clothes people like, styles, brands colours the works. I am also interested in what sort of accessories people like.
I am really into fashion and have too many things to list, but I am always looking for more. I did find an up and coming designer (the link in my siggy). If anyone knows any new brands I am always interested. :)

My favorite blog to read for alt-fashion is haute macabre. They always partner up with shops that specialize in alternative and every few weeks they will post lists of good fashion finds. There is high fashion stuff in there too but that's more eye candy than practical..
I don't really wear the stuff I like to read about though.. I have pretty generic tastes IRL and I get almost all of my clothes from retailers like H&M and Forever 21.
Maybe I can find fashion advice in this thread? XD

I usually just wear whatever lol. Though I'm mainly into wearing darker clothing since it seems to suit me more than brighter colors. I have a lot of clothes that are pretty much black (and it's a pain to short through my laundry because of that lol). Though I do love unique designs that you really don't see anywhere else. I also do enjoy wearing plaid shirts that have a brighter color and then a dark color to it as well.
Though I usually don't wear anything too girlish, and prefer to wear something that is comfortable and easy to wear. But when I shop for clothes, I'm picky about what I want to buy. I personally hate clothes shopping because of that xD

I hate clothes shopping but for different reasons. I really like clothes, especially girly things. I am a lolita after all :P but I am into the darker goth look (cannot pull off too many goth fashions though) :( Honestly I cannot pull off alot, I like fitted things but nothing fits me right because apparently the hourglass shape is rare to find in such a difference. I do not think my measuremts are that weird. 38.5-25-39

For me it depends on where I will be wearing the clothes.
If it is to work in then I just go for comfort & sort of plain & normal looking, mostly dark colors & green.
The rest of the time I tend to go a little odd.
I love the long flowing skirts, but can't wear them right now its way to cold. I like to layer different ones of them. Started doing that at the Renaissance Faire & just kept doing it at other times. I have a nice variety of colors & patterns now.
Accessories currently I am really into rings. One of my friends took me into a store that has lots of assorted jewelry that is very cheap. We have found some interesting stuff in there, including: wind dragons, spiders, flowers, pirates skulls, & plain tumbled gemstones & rocks.
I don't tend to stick to specific brands of clothes. Mostly I just get what grabs my attention. Most of my stuff is darker colors: browns, blues, black & any & all shades of green.

Over the years, my style has mellowed out, and I've come to realize I have something of the gentleman farmer in me
I like British fashion, over a wide period of eras. I like chelsea boots and oxfords. Plaids, corduroy, tweedy things. Cardigans. Skinny pants. Paisley. Greys greens blues and browns. I also enjoy looking at dolly kei fashions, but it doesn't often get reflected in my wardrobe, except in the form of the occasional accessory. Or hosiery.

I think the modification of clothing depending on setting is a very common thing to do, I can still get away with wearing what ever because my school does not care but I know in the work force I will need to be more "professional". The flowy skrt look is really pretty (if done properly), I have a couple and they do not look right on me (mostly because they are too big)...The jewelry sounds wonderful

graphic t-shirts and jeans, simple as that.
I may bea girl but I can't stand wearing anything in association (dresses, skirts, makeup, pink) and I despise dressing to impress. I don't get why what you wear is so important in life. It's shallow and judgmental.

I like dressing up not to be shallow or judgmental but to make me feel better. If I am having a bad day but am wearing my favorite outfit or someone tells me that I look nice it makes me feel a little better. Also, I cannot stand wearing pants, I have one pair and I wore them once (it was a bad experience, beyond uncomfortable)

I just wear jeans and t-shirts or I layer long sleeved shirts under hoodies or I'll wear a t-shirt with a long sleeved shirt under it. During the summer I just wear jeans and t-shirts mostly. It's kinda hard for me to wear anything that's form fitting without looking like a girl so I tend to wear things a bit on the baggy side, even though it's not the most flattering thing. I just wear what I feel comfortable in.
I rarely wear any kind of jewelry except my belly and nose ring. I can't stand things on my hands or wrists so any kind of bracelets or rings are a no go.
I tend to lean more towards a neutral style and nothing too flashy.

I guess I'm very eclectic and creative with my style.
It's kind of all over the place. I love things that stand out and I pretty much wear whatever I want. If I like it, I wear it. :]
I wear anything from frilly girly crap, to redneck wear, to grungy punk, to metalhead crud, to retro (Not super fond of 60's to 70's fashion though), to victorian inspired clothing (I LOVE Lace! ), and a lot of clothing I sew myself.
My main staples are my doc. Marten combat boots, my bottle opener Irish trucker hat, usually graphic or band t-shirts, skinny (but not super tight) jeans, homemade skirts, fishnets, converse, flannel shirts in various colors, etc.
I have a lot of different clothes. lol Pretty much just depends on the outfit I want to put together.
I have TONS of jewelry. I especially love clovers, and nautical themed or ocean themed jewelry.
Like anchors and sea shells, starfish, and things with pearls and blue metallic irredecent shineys! ^_^ <3
My eyeshadow usually matches my outfit or fits it in some way too.

every-ones style is unique. I like to think of fashion styles as a reflection of self and, as Mene shows there is a wide variety of personalities here. :)
